The play took a slightly darker approach than the original film, but it was still great none the less, and the chimney sweep rooftop dance was just perfect!

I really enjoyed Mary Poppins, though at certain points it did feel as though it was dragging on a little bit. You are right in saying it was darker than the film, I think I am right with saying that they put a parental guidence on it for this reason.

My grade is going to see Mary poppins for our feild trip to New York
City. I think it was an okay movie, but i can care less about watching
the play. Many of my friends can agree.

Yes, I am one of thoses friends. I really want to see Wicked but no were going to see Mary Poppins. I mean Julie Andrews was great as always, but I really don't like the story/movie thing, and my two sisters went to see it and they said it was ok but not the best and that probably means I'll hate it.
