Simon Cowell

When Pop Idol was first on, I didn't really like Simon Cowell. I thought he was mean and evil (which he was), but in a not very nice way.

After watching him as a judge on subsequent Pop Idol's and X Factor's, I've realised that he's more funny than mean. He still says mean things, but in a funny way, and his comments are usually well deserved.

I think his rapport with Sharon Osborne and Louis Walsh on X Factor is great - their arguments and fights are hilarious.

Personal I don't have much of an issue with Simon. Yes he does seem mean, but if you pay attention to what he says and I mean really pay attention, he is telling the truth. Yeah what he says is cruel but it is true. He only gives the cold hard truth without the the little coverups the other judges try to use on American Idol.

i think its funny how how he always says "I don't wanna be rude, BUT..."

i actualy think that its not his purpose to sound rude he just knows its going to sound rude. the truth hurts and the truth sometimes tends to come across as rude

Simon is the only American Idol judge that I think deserves to be a judge

I don't mean to be rude, but... Paula is just a cupcake-muffin judge and Randy is just a "Yo, yo, yo, dawg, that was hawt and the dawg says WOOF WOOF WOOF" kind of judge

And Simon is just being honest and I love him for that! And in his own way, he's hot... teehee

Well, I think deserves isnt the right word.. Paula was a really really famous singer/dancer, and Randy's a great muscion/producer.. I have no clue what simon is.. but he's really honest and he really goes out when speaking his mind. Paula tells the truth she's just nicer about it, and Randy is really honest but he doesnt ramble and use british slang.

I love Simon!!! The faces he makes on American Idol are priceless!!!

Everyone hates him because he's mean or he doesn't give the singer a chance. But really if he says no it's because the singer CAN NOT sing! I like Paula, but she's a little soft. Randy is on the border line.

I think Simon as everyone else has said, is really the one who deserves to be a judge. He's honest and straight forward. He doesn't beat around the bush. And I think he is a bit cute...lol

How can you not like him? I mean ok, he isn't the most friendliest or subtle of people, but he is so funny!

I love this guy!!! He is really mean somethimes in American Idol but, he says the truth!
There are some people that are so stupid by going there and they don't even know how to sing or anything about music but they think they do! And then, when the answer is NO they just yell to the juries!

And, well Paula is just there to be there, they don't need her at all.Well,this is my desitions, and...I respect all the ones that think the opposite.

I find Simon to be hilaroius, and he's right usually. He can be harsh,
but seroiusly don't try out for American idol, if you stink. I
seroiusly wonder what hes fmaous for. I thought something that was
funny this season, some lady who was trying out said, simon should go
back to where ever hes from, he don't come from America. That was just
hilaroius. What is he famous for, in England???

I adore Simon! He can be a bit unethical, but that is how he is. Besides, I think he gives more advice to make the contestants better. He isn't putting them down, in a way. He's giving them harsh pointers. Singing isn't exactly an easy carerr.
