Song of the Sorting Hat

The sorting hat needs a new song and it has been passed over to you!
Write a sorting hat song following the rules below:

* It has to have 5 verses
* Each verse needs to have 6 lines
* Within each verse, the rhyming should be: ABABCC (first and third line/second and forth line/last two lines
* The words have to be relevant to the houses, Hogwarts and the Hogwarts experience.

The winner gets their song posted within the sorting hat plus 50 points
Second gets 25 points
And third gets 15 points

Look at me, this drab old hat,
You wouldn’t think I’m cool,
I’ll never be described as ‘phat’,
When you sit upon this stool
Perhaps your views are distorted,
Are you ready to be sorted?

On this site of friendship and fun,
We have our houses four,
Hopefully you won’t hide and run,
Maybe you’ll be a Gryffindor?
These red lions are brave and daring,
Though in their hearts, they are caring.

Perhaps you’ll play in the RPG,
As many are wont to do,
Or maybe you’ll need some TLC,
When duelling matches are through?
Perhaps I’ll sort you into Slytherin, the house of the snake,
But if I place you there, what kind of member will you make?

Then there are the many classes,
To prove your brains and wit,
But will your efforts result in passes,
Or will you simply quit?
The Ravenclaw’s aren’t afraid of working,
But there are those that prefer lurking.

Maybe the games room will make you happy,
It’s a bucketload of fun,
Watch out! Three word story might make you snappy,
What tales have been spun?
The last house of the four is dear old Hufflepuff,
Their members are fair and loyal, they’re made of stronger stuff!

This is my attempt of a sorting hat song. It's not great but what can I do? LoL

Back in the days, Once upon a younder time.
When Magic was all characters and plots,
And fanfiction writers were dozen a dime.
Althought it was fun, we did not learn alot.
A brilliant idea was cast to teach magic that's true.
(Hopefully elfie didn't think of this in the loo). :silent:

First you are sorted according to values of your heart.
Your houses will guide you to help you learn more.
This is your family where you shall leave your mark!
In time, you can join the Gryffindors,
Where bravery and courage is cherished above the rest.
This will help you go on in life, as you are put to the test.

Perhaps you may become a loyal Hufflepuff,
Where they humblely strive to try their hardest.
Where the girls are sweet and honest, as the guys are nice and buff.
Yet if you think knowledge will get you the farthest
Then you are a Ravenclaw, where pure logic is the top.
But they are not always serious, (I've seen them do the bunny hop)

And last but not least you could be a Slytherin.
Here is where the most cunning serpants lay,
Where power is great! And they love to win.
"The game forum is best" some people may say.
There's classes and duels, welcome balls and parties,
And if you're late for class, you'll never get a tardy. :cheers:

You can let your imagination roam, in ways you never thought it could.
People's come to improve their wrting, and are willing to assist.
You'll also be learning lots too, just like we promised you would.
Now you may be thinking, am I lying, does such a magical place exist?

I think you sorting hat song is really good son yun! And everybody else who submitted..But it doesn't seem it be in the ababcc form...or is it just me?

Maybe I'm not fashionable, maybe I'm not cool
But, don't think you can fool me
Because when it comes to houses, I rule this school
Many things occur here, at Hogwarts Experience, that you will see.
But in order to discover these fantastical things,
