Countdown Question of the Day: Day 129

I don't know what will become of Fawkes. I've seen pretty much all of those options in fanfics, though one of the most popular things I've seen is Fawkes aiding Harry somehow in the Final Battle.

I'm not sure on this one.

hmmm, this a tough one and havent thought bout it...but like this i doubt that the new headmistress will have it unless it what all head of school gets, sorta like the potraits gotta help the headmaster whether they like him or not... hagrid would make sense and he would take care of it cuz it was his headmaster pet but i do really think he is there to comfort the school and will help at the final battle, cuz those who are loyal to him(dumbledore) will always get help.

I hope that he plays a big role in the next book, helping Harry with his magical tears. I don't think we've seen the last of him.

I also hope we haven't seen the last of him... but it sounds too fanfic-y... ^^" .. it would be too ideal... that's why I think we'll only see him at the end of the book , just for a second or so, rather as a symbol than as a part of some kind of action... :/

i say that it will go to harry but harry will give it to hagrid to look after him

Fawkes will vanish without a trace and turn up only at the end of the book

Well I can just imagine that Harry is about to die when the phoenix song comes again making him feel hope and use one last bit of energy to defeat voldie.
