GRYFFINDOR: Hogwarts Fashion

Becca came to the backstage smiling widely. "HI" she sadi and waved at all of her friends. SHe moved to the end of the stage and stepped out, ready to walk.

She started, slowly, walking on to the stage.

Commentary- "OO wow! This a step up from the fashion police outfit! Oh, another glare .....ok on to actually doing my job! Well first off, I love the white button up blouse! The Gryffindor color stripped tie, ties in the top of the outfit and makes it pop. The gray mini skirt moves the outfit's nice look down. The blouse looks superb over the top of skirt. Those high heeled black boots are beautiful, aren't they? Click click click hehe love that sound. Well give it up for a fashion more than worth mentioning!"

Becca turned around and headed backstage, trying to hide her giant grin.

"Great job Becca!" June said as she hugged her friend. After she charmed her hair brown, June apparated out onto the g+g stage set. A magical projector projected a huge Gryffindor crest onto the back wall. The lights on the stage alternated in colors of red and gold and the two fountains that were placed on either side of the + shaped stage were transfigured into big lion statues. Unlike most statues, these structures weren't a boring old concrete color. Swifty's backstage crew had charmed them to be a normal lion's color, except that their manes were streaked with bold red color. The lions were animated with a simple animation charm and the duo slowly walked around the g+g stage set, weaving between the stages and roaring whenever things got too quiet.

When June appeared on the stage, the song "Let's Get it Started in Here" by the Black Eyed Peas began and June sauntered down the + shaped stage to the beat. At various points in the music, the two lions roared and June smiled at the show of the Gryffindor pride... of lions.

As she posed at the first of many points during this catwalk, June heard the commentary begin: "This outfit designed especially for the many Gryffindors out there is stylish and flirty, guaranteed to make you stand out (in a good way!) without getting a detention or points off for violating dress code. The top half of this outfit is a cream satin shirt with three-quarter length sleeves. The shirt is lined with thin red and gold stripes which compliment the skirt that goes with it. The black skirt on the bottom half is made of a light material and clings to the body with out the wearer feeling as if it's suffocating. At the hip, the skirt is straight, but after that point, the material flares out. The skirt, like the shirt, is lined with red and gold stitches. To complete this outfit, our model wheres a pair of black pumps that are stylish and that are over a pair of white cotton stockings. The complete outfit is on 80 galleons! June flashed a smile at the cameras and posed one last time before she walked back up the stage. Swinging her purse by the hand, June apparated backstage and said, "Good luck!" to the next model before she ran to the changing room to change into her next outfit.

WL picked up her black handbag and quickly walked on stage onto the G. She was sporting black jeans with mid-shin black leather boots. On top, she wore a furry fluffy deep red top with long sleeves and a high neck. She wore her hair back in a tight ponytail and a fluffy red bobble. It was a smart, yet casual, sleek yet comfy look that suited the style of most students. .It may be a bit differnt to wear to school, but who was to say anyone could see under her robe?!

Oh, and the earrings were large hoops hanging down and accentuated by the clothes...available free with the full 50 Galleon ensemble!

Amy examined herself in the mirror. As she checked to make sure everything was in place, she muttered to herself, "This outfit from G+G's Gryffindor collection is only 75 galleons! A minidress, this outfit is black and lined with red threads that represent the boldness of the Gryffindors. Modeled by Amy, one of the Gryffindor Goddesses, this dress with cap sleeves is a must have for any Gryffindor or Gryffindor alum!" Amy laughed at herself for talking like a commentator. Seeing her cue, she restuck her blue pin that held her blonde hair in place and apparated out onto the stage: (sorry abt the horrible pic... it's missing the crest and the lions though *shrugs*).

Once she was on the stage, the song "the Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani began to play. Posing along various points of the stage, Amy listened to the commentary. "Like the title of the song now playing, make a sweet escape from ordinary Hogwarts robes and don G+G's Gryffindor line to show your house pride!" the commentary began. Amy tuned the rest out because she had read it, and knew that the rest was just describing the clothes that Amy had already described herself. When the commentary had ended, Amy twirled around on one foot and walked back up the stage. Reaching the rear, she winked at the audience and the cameras and apparated away.

"Great job, Amy!" June told her friend. Seeing Swifty give her her cue, June quickly apparated out onto the stage. The moment she appeared on the left g shaped stage, June smiled as one of her favorite songs came on: "It's Not Over" by Daughtry. Hoping that Swifty's backstage crew would time her act correctly, June felt instant relief when, holding her hands out, she saw little balls of flame appear in them. Moving her hands up and down to the beat, June thanked Merlin that the fireballs couldn't burn her.

As she walked and moved to the beat of the song, June's commentary started right on time, right when she started juggling the fireballs. "It's not over Ladies and Gentlemen! For everyone out their bemoaning their unfashionable Hogwarts robes, it's not over! Who ever said that all Gryffindor robes had to be boring red and black cloaks? As the commentary ended, June's fireballs disappeared and she apparated away.

Cristina got dressed and hummed the song that was going to play during her walk, shaking her new locks to it. She then got out of her dressing room just in time to see June appear backstage and hug her. "Good job!", she said smiling, then she grapped her bag and apparated onto the "+"-stage.

The song was already making Cristina feel more like a Gryffindor and she knew the public was going to love her outfit. She began posing as she heard the commentator start his speech:

"Ladies and gentlemen, Gryffindor's got style! Just admire the red and yellow knitted vest, the white t-shirt and the gray skirt! To match them, we recommend wearing the comfy but cool black boots with red and yellow striped knee-high socks. To tame that beautiful lion's mane, wear a chic dark gray cap with a yellow flower on top! And because every studious Gryffie needs to carry her books around in style, you need our red bag! But beware, it isn't any normal bag - the black straps that go under the bag itself and the velvety red and yellow stripes on the sides make it so cool, that you'll never wanna leave home without it again! All for decent prices: the skirt - 15 galleons, the vest - 10, the tshirt - 5, the boots - 20 galleons, the cap - 10 and the bag - 15 galleons!"

Hehe, nice!, Cristina thought, curling a lock around her finger. She looked up and saw what was prepared by Swifty's team: a balloon shaped like lion's head flying down towards her. She grabbed it and let herself be flown to the right "g"-stage. Then she walked around a few times and headed to the apparition point. As she disapparated, a lion's roar could be heard by the gasping crowd.

Cristina just got to her dressing room when she realised there were more costumes lying around, waiting top be worn for the fashion show. Waheeey!, she thought grabbing the closest one. 'Tis be like... waaay cool!. She quickly got dressed with it and ran to the apparating point, looking for Swifty.
"Can I? Once again? Pweese?" she asked with puppy eyes.
"Oh course, DUH! Go!", Swifty answered, so Cristina didn't waste any second longer and apparated.


The DJ started playing "Invincible" a song sung (probably by somebody named Carola?) for Sweden at Eurovision 2006.

Cristina made her way along the left "g'-stage, listening to the comentator's speech.

"Ladies and gentlemen - behold Gryffie's last fashion hit! As you can all see, Cristina is wearing a superb white t-shirt under a yellow jacket! The t-shirt for 5, the jacket fopr only 12 galleons! Waterproof! And some comfy baggy jeans with delicate chains are always the right thing for a cool look - 15 galleons! Don' t forget the right lion's foorwear - what about some yellow Converse sneakers for just 15 galleons? But this isn't all - the head also needs to be covered, and it's best to do it with out hyper-fashioinable black gavroche cap! 5 galleons! And while we're at stylish-ness, you also need an original Gryffie red bag - big enough to hold all the little things a girl might need and oh what a good price - 6 galleons! To give this outfit one last touch, try wearing our violet pearls - 5 galleons! Just wonderful, I tell you!"

Cristina giggled. Now she really felt like a product from a teleshopping programme. She smiled one last time to the public, then made her way to the apparition point, gently swinging her hips while she walked.

When she got backstage again, she hugged her teammates and returned to the dressing room. She was just preparing to dress in her normal street clothes again, when she saw that there was one outfit more waiting for her. She grinned to herself as this was a very non-conformist one, but she liked it.

She hurriedly blew some of her colleagues, who were looking astonished at seeing her head towards the catwalk again, a kiss from her hand, gave Swifty a questioning look and disapparated the very moment Swifty nodded.



"Ladies and gentlemen, Gryffindor's are bold! not just their character, but also their clothes! If you ever wondered, here is the confirmation: deep red, tight trousers, a white blouse with puffy short sleeves and a yellow knit cap. To these, our brave Gryffie will wear bright yellow Converse trainers. Try to top that! And the prices: 10 galleons for the blouse, 15 the trousers, 20 the trainers and 5 the cap! Now, now, aren't lions pretty?"

Cristina nodded as she walked down the right "g"-stage and hummed to the song that was just playing - "Fire" by red Hot Chilli Peppers. When she got to the front of the catwalk, she threw her cap from her head and caught it again in a gesture of happiness and eliberation and bowed. Afterwards, she returned to the apparition point half-jumping.
