| I have this theory. Voldemort gave wormtail a silver hand right? Do you think that this will be relevant in the last book? We know silver can kill werewolves, and as much as i dont want to think about it, but do you think wormtail will use his silver hand to kill moony? Just a theory? | |

| I'm gonna be like JKR and squish this rumour! It says on her site that this is really not true... :D Although it may seem like it, JKR did not plan to kill Moony off with Wormtail's hand. If anything, I think Wormtail would go before Moony - MWPP is in that order. Prongs (bless his soul) went first, followed by Padfoot. Wormtail seems to be next (YAY!) | |

| I think wormtail will die by saving harry from a killing curse because of the wizard's debt.
He WILL NOT kill moony...MOONY LIVES!!!!!

I agree with this as didnt Dumbledore say something about awizarding debt being extremely important. I dont think that Wormtail will be the only one to help Harry and I am not sure itwill be directly linked with Voldemort firing a killing curse at Harry but I am sure that is where wormtail will place in the final book.

| Well I'm all for Wormtail dying. But Moony ... no. And I don't think Wormtail would have the guts to kill Remus himself, especially not with his ... 'bare hand'. | |

| In the HBP book launch TV programme (England) a 12 year old kid got to ask JK Rowling some quiestions. His winning question was something like: Will Wormtail kill Moony with his silver hand? or something along those lines, and she asnswered no, he doesn't.
I was shocked, because i thought that it couldnt be by chance that it was silver. Why not some metal like steel. But JKR stopped that theory last July.

| JKR also said that lupin wouldnt die.
but whether she meant in HBP or the last one, i dont know. I think Lupin should live, just to give Harry that one connection to his parents.

| i had heard this before... not sure where... but i dunno
im glad wormtail (DIE DIE DIE) wont kill moony (at least thats what the honorable rowling said. i mean, she would know) cause i love moony. im the prez of his fan club (i need a vice prez... im the only member...) haha
i do think moony will die though, it just seems like he would. o, and harry will die. i kindasortamaybe hope he does. it seems like the kind of thing JK (may she live forever) would do, killing off the hero... haha

| i think that lupin will die saving harry he cares about him so much but in the battle harry kills voldemort and all the people voldemort killed should come to life for the rest of the night it wont happen but it would be nice for harry | |

| I think that Moony might die trying to protect Tonks. ^.^ Even though JKR said that ship wouldn't work...gr...but I think that he might be wounded and she goes to help him and then he pushes her out of the way in the end. ^.^
It'd be cute and it would make me squee. LOL. But it's not supposed to be cute is it? Oh well thats' my theory!

| lol i seem to be repeating myself in three different threads.
Personally i dont think the silver hand is for moony - i think (though discussing with duck) that its intended for use against greyback, saving harry and repaying the wizard debt at the same time
