RPG Catwalk:Dani played with her gold bracelet, musing on how the jewelery made her tan seem even deeper and darker. She had spent the early morning on the borrowed yacht, getting her sea legs so that she would have balance as she did her catwalk. She had to follow a path, so it was a bit more complicated then the average runway. She reached up and fluffed out her beach wave curls, and added a final coat of shiny lip gloss in Watermelon Mango. With more confidence then she felt she made her way up the stairs to the top deck.
Rigby was waiting there for her, the usual fashion show supplies in her hands, hairspray and hairpins. There was no fashion problem that couldn't be fixed with either one of those items, combined together and they were a lethal combination. Dani raised her hands in surrendor, laughing helplessy as she was sprayed practically head to toe in a cloud of hairspray. Oh gosh, she thought, she shouldn't have laughed. She was now choking on inhaled fumes. She was guessing Rigby hadn't gotten the memo that aresol cans were bad. She coughed uncontrollably, panicking slightly. If it could put a hole in the ozone layer, what was it doing even now to her lungs? She heard her music cue and she threw a glance at Rigby who was now impatiently handing her a bottle of water. Dani grasped on the the water and chugged as quickly as she could. She took an experimental intake of breathe, realizing that she had the cough under control she immediatly took off down the winding runway. Hopefully the audience would mistake the tears in her eyes for high fashion.
As she glided amongst the elite crowd and judges, the air from the water gave her hair movement. Dani felt like a mermaid on a evening pass. They were totally digging her outfit, and she smiled wider with every ohh and ahh she heard. Her hand tapped out the beat of the Duran Duran song, always one of her favorites. The music and the setting made her feel alive, and the catwalk was over before she knew it. She made her way back to the lower deck, accepting congratualtions from her fellow Ravenvclaws. With the huge crowd and celebatory atmosphere surely Rigby wouldn't notice if she kept her design on? There was normally nothing better than an all night Ravenclaw party, but an all night Ravenclaw yacht party? Yeah, that was definelty better.
