Change of Forum Skin: Vote!

We're thinking about changing the skin of the site, and there are three options to choose from.

Have a look at the skin examples on the test sites (linked below) and then vote on which is your favourite.

We may put up the skin selector, however this will only change the colours and not the pictures.

Skin One - Deathly Hallows UK Theme

Skin Two - Deathly Hallows Adult Theme

Skin Three - Deathly Hallows US Theme

Or, stick with the current theme.

Honestly, I will be happy no matter what, although I voted for the third one...I like the second one but I'm not crazy about having to look at the Slytherin locket all the time *g*

Honestly, I want to keep the one that we have now... It seems too 'Mugglenet-esque' to me to change skins with the books. But maybe, we could do something MuggleNet-esque and have a little box where you can click on the skin you want so that everyone can have whatever skin they want on their computer.

Having multiple skins is somewhat doable. Somewhat. We can change the colours, but not the images - so headers and buttons and nav bar would all stay the same. To see what I mean, have a look at my test forum:

As you can see, the backgrounds and colours change, but not the pictures. So we could do that, with the winning skin and all its buttons etc. but you can still change the colours? It's a limit of editboard, I'm afraid. If we could do it a better way, we would.[/b]

I just joined so maybe my vote won't count that much but i love the current skin, and the UK one. The colours are so vibrant!

I voted to keep the current skin colour as it portrays slytherin nicely, although a darker green and silver would portray the best house even better lol
