| Swift was hyped. Extremely hyped. Not only were the Gryffindor team still in The Kodak Theatre… okay, nevermind, she was just hyped because they were still in The Kodak Theatre. She wasn’t exactly hyped because of the expense – renting it for one category was hard enough… but for two? For Swift, it meant string-pulling time. Or, you know… having some useful contacts. Which, of course, Swift did have.
“Poke.”
“Ouch. What do you want?”
“Just reminding you to talk to He Who Is Amazing some time soon.”
“Yes, dear, I shall talk to Louis some time soon,” said Swift rather monotonously. “Do you like my tone?” She laughed at his silence, reminding herself that he could see her, as she could see him. “On to more pressing matters,” after sticking her tongue out, “I was wondering how on earth you managed to get things looking so amazing. It’s nice. For something you did.”
“Hmph. I’m offended. For the moment.” He held his hand dramatically over his heart. “It’s just a few wires. Bit toned down – the celebrity category was all glamour. Now we have big designer names, baby!!”
Swift was stunned into silence for a moment as he imitated some crazed lunatic who acted like he knew everything he was talking about.
“The celebrity category is thatta way, my dear. We’re not exactly designer either.” She pointed towards the other catwalks that could appear in a second. “And Austin Powers would be very proud.”
“So as I was saying, the celebrity category was about glamour. This is about style, and lots of it. Name a name and we got it!”
“Gucci,” came the instant reply. As soon as she had said it, a huge projection of the Gucci label shone onto the wall backstage, where nobody but the crew could see. She was impressed, but there was more to come. “FCUK.” The logo shone brightly, moving around on the wall, changing direction every once in a while. “CK. Diesel. Fred Perry. Prada. Esprit.” The words rolled off her tongue in quick succession, and the last had barely left her mouth when the five names were there, mingling with each other as they crossed paths. “Ooh-er. I like.”
“Impressive, I know. Don’t you love me?”
“We shall see, love, we shall see… actually, I quite like that. Get the big designer names onto there, they’ll open our show for us. Make sure they’re clear, we don’t want a jumble of words that nobody can read.”
“On it, ma’am!”
Smiling, Swift watched, as one by one, projections of logos and names added to each other on the back of the stage.
“Perfect.” | |

| "Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, Gryffindor fashion goes pro and presents you named wear - named after the world's greatest fashion brands!" As Cris heard this announcement, she knew she was late. "Out of my waaay!", she screamed running through the backstage, looking for her lipstick. "No named fashion without my lipstick!", she fussed. "Ahhh! There it is!", she exclaimed reliefed. "How's my hair?", she asked somebody around, and it was clear that she was agitated. One of the reasons was of course the classy fashion that she was going to be presenting and the other was that she hadn't modeled in a long time, and thus worried she could have forgotten how to do it. She took one last look at her image in the mirror, before being pushed onto the catwalk by Swifty, with the words "Hurry up!". Wow!, Cris thought as soon as she stepped onto the stage. Impressive! Seeing that the crowd was already getting impatient, she stepped forward with a quick and determined and at the same time, gracious step. She could see cameras flashing and heard one of her favourite songs - "I don't feel like dancing", by Scissor Sisters. Ahhh, how she had missed that feeling! She grinned and ran her hand through her shiny, this time short hair. It had been her stylist's recommendation to cut it in order to accentuate the contrastful effect of her outfit. When she got to the tip of the catwalk, she realised the commentary had already begun. "... So what was I saying? Yes of course - that we will now watch Cris present an outfit realised by G+G in collaboration with Gucci - G+Gucci, for short! Oh and I see Cris has already come to a halt, so let's analyse what she wears a bit closer, shall we?! It's truly a unique, contrastful outfit based on yellow and violet, with red accents. First of all, we have a shiny yellow top with a purple top worn under it. The fabric is light and as comfortable to wear as cotton, but as sassy as silk - an invention of G+Gucci, no other brand knows its secret! A violet slim belt takes care of the aesthetic link between the yellow top and the violet bottom, diminishing the aggresiveness of the contrasting colours. Oh, speaking of the bottom! What do you think of the violet miniskirt with pratical, yet oh how trendy pockets - combined with violet leggins with white hearts? I can wholeheartedly assure you it's unique and you won't finid anything similar at any other brand! But of course, our designers also know an outift of just two colurs is slightly boring - so we've pepped this up with red accesories: leather high-heels, purse, watch and cherry-earrings fit as if they were from just one set - isn't it amazing?" Cris twirled around herself a few more times, then turned around and walked back in the same confident pace. Getting backstage, she ran to Swifty, screaming "It's beautiful out there, you're a goddess!". After hugging her favourite stage manager, she ran around frantically through the backstage corridors, searching the next model to wish her good luck. Prices: violet under-top: 10 galleons yellow top: 30 galleons belt: 10 galleons skirt: 60 galleons leggins: 20 high-heels: 100 galleons purse: 20 galleons watch: 200 galleons (courtesy of Rolex - special order designed for G+Gucci) earrings: 30 galleons | |
