RPG catwalk:
Katie started into the mirror as she heard the announcer describe the outfit she was wearing. This was going to be her second time on the catwalk and she was just as nervous as the first time. Though will the knowledge that she enjoyed it. Last time Katie’s hair had been in a scruffy side bobble with some of her hair out of place this time she was fully prepared. Grabbing a brush she brushed her long blonde//brown hair, that reached just below her bra strap. Grabbing the hair grips that were to come with this outfit she made sure that the little piece of hair ,that had an uncanny nack of coming onto her face, was tightly placed under the grip as to make sure it didn’t come on her face during the catwalk.
She heard her song begin to play and knew it was her turn. Gliding onto the stage she saw that there were more people watching this time and suddenly her nerves began to play up. But soon she controlled the stage soaking in every bit of attention from the crowd. It was her time to shine. When she reached the end of the stage flicking her hair of her shoulder she heard the snippet of a conversation.
“Mummy look at that girl she looks beautiful mummy”
It was the nicest comment anyone had ever made. Sure people had told her she was pretty but to hear it from a small child made it seem all the more amazing. The comment from the little girl made Katie’s stomach dance. It was like have a ballet class inside her stomach. But it made her smile even more. When she neared the exit to the stage her smile faded the happiness had lasted such a little time she couldn’t wait for the next time she went on stage.
Later on as Katie was walking around she saw the fashion magazine on the table. She couldn’t believe her eyes she was on the front cover! Her Katie. Its seems that her happiness could last a little longer.
