Please remember in every pieceof homework you do, cite your sources (post a link on the bottom of the internet sites you used). If you do not, points will be deducted. Copying other peoples answers is not allowed.

The Grading System here in Astronomy has now changed to be more like in the HP books so you'll find your experience here in HE even more magical.

To a number of points will now correspond a Wizard Grade. The Grades are as follow:

45 Point Class
42-45: Outstanding
37-41: Exceeds Expectations
32-36: Acceptable
24-31: Poor
17-23: Dreadful
Below 17: Troll

40 Point Class
37-40: Outstanding
30-36: Exceeds Expectations
25-29: Acceptable
20-24: Poor
15-19: Dreadful
Below 15: Troll

The grades will be displayed as the following icons:

When there's essay classes there will be the SPAG and QWC as one of the mark requisits.

SPAG (Spelling Punctuation and Grammar) and QWC (Quality of Written Communication) concern:

Using correct spelling, punctuation and grammar - perhaps run your work through a spellchecker before posting.

Writing as much as or more than the word count asks for.

Due to new rules on the amount of points awarded per class, here's the new grading system to classes worth 90 points (10 points will be given to the best student.). Note that there could still be classes of 40 or 45 points, in those the old grading ssytem will be applied (i.e Discussion Classes).

90 Point Class
81-90: Outstanding
65-80: Exceeds Expectations
46-64: Acceptable
26-45: Poor
11-35: Dreadful
Below 10: Troll

New Intermediate classes will be graded as follows:

250 Points Class
226-250: Outstanding
175-225: Exceeds Expectations
101-174: Acceptable
61-100: Poor
26-60: Dreadful
Below 25: Troll

Previous classes points for 40, 45, 90 and 100 points will still be used for Beginner's Classes.
