Wizard Card Challenge - CLOSED

Remember the famous wizards and witches that come on the cards inside the chocolate frogs? Well now it is your chance to create some!

For this challenge, you need to create two magical people and put them on a card. Why are they on the card? Why are they special?
Also, design the card with their picture and post them both here!

For first place: 40 housepoints
For second place: 25 housepoints
For third place: 15 housepoints

Jezzirah
1287 - ?
Renowned for the creation of the dark arts.
Jezzirah banished the white witch Matilda in 1304 and was cursed with a half life by common witches.
Jezzirah is known to enjoy swimming with sharks and inventing new dark magicks.


Asilia
1941 - present
Renowned for her dazzling beauty, Asilia was said to have given new life to Jupiter and Saturn.
She enjoys frollicking in the flower beds and healing others.


Tabitha
Dates unknown
Tabitha is renowned for bringing the common muggle image of witches to the world after a stunt over the yorkshire moors. She is also renowned for the creation of the common cold.
She enjoys...well we dont know as we have never seen her real face!

Creator of Cauldron Cakes
Mary Silverwings 1855-1943

Creator of many food products, Mary Silverwings is perhaps most famous for the delicious ‘cauldron cakes’. She first baked the macaroon-style cakes in 1875, at the age of twenty and they soon became a hit with young children and adults alike. Some of her not so famous creations include Gobstopper Gobstones and Mint Broomsticks. All products can still be bought today.




Founder of Honeydukes
Declan Duke 1922-

Declan Duke is the founder of the ever popular confectionary shop, Honeydukes. Its flagship store in Hogsmeade has been popular with the residents ever since it’s opening on May 27th 1957. Witches and Wizards with a sweet tooth enjoy the many ranges of sweets available, which include fizzing whizbee’s, cockroach clusters and sugar quills. It is also notable that Declan Duke aided the ministry during You-Know-Who’s first rise to power, by giving free chocolate to the victims of Dementor attacks. Eighty-four year old Mr Duke still runs the shop in Hogsmeade, and claims he will do so until the day he dies.

Clarise Confezt
One of the first veelas known to exist, and excellent healer
1405-1463

Clarise Confezt was one of the first Veelas ever known to have existed. She lived in a large and mysterious forest where many hunters claimed to see her and be mezmerized by her delicate beauty. Clarise was never interested in finding herself a husband, her only interest in the world was to help all the animals in her forest who were injured or sick. When she realized that she couldnt live off of the forest forever she moved into a small cottage and became one of the first healers at St. Mungos.




Shanella Broenhei'
Fought for Muggle and Magic incorporation
1832-1864

Shanella Broenhei' was born into a very wealthy Pureblood family who wanted nothing to do with anyone who wasnt pureblood. Shanella was never like that and always got along with Muggles she had met and was facinated with them. Later on in her life, when Shanella turned 19 years old she was arranged to be married to a Young Pureblood wizard rich who also came from a rich family. Shanella did not want to marry this man because she was in love with a Muggle she had met years sooner. Shanella didnt believe in this whole hate against muggles because they werent magic and began protesting when she turned twenty and was forced to go through with the marriage. She set up a numerous amount of rallies, fundraisers, and meetings to get people to change their minds and let Muggles know of their world instead of making their world a whole lie. Shanella was later murdered for what she believed in and she never got to be with the muggle whom she loved. Today there are many people who believe what she did was wonderful, and appreciated her efforts to help muggles and wizards/witches unite.

known for inventing the water hat when he was lost in the desert in 1903. He also invented the credit card back then but he wasnt discovered until many many years later- hence the late arival of the cards.

Freya Anderson

Creator of Arithmacy, was probably related to the Norse goddess of love and beauty?
1024-1030

Freya is the first Veela to be ever born into the Muggle world. As said in my research, she was named after the Norse goddess of love and beauty. She had amazing magic, great at creating her own spells/hexes/curses, also, she created the subject,"Arithmacy." She cared for so many things that she didn't have anything to hate..well accept for evil. Then one day, she died trying to save Hogwarts. Freya died in a duel between her and Lacus.


Valkyrie Salazar

Creator/Creatress of the Chocolate Frogs, also related to Salazar Slytherin
1270-1293

Valkyrie was related to Salazar Slytherin, but something was most odd about her--she wasn't prejudice, she wasn't evil, she didn't have those cold eyes, she was vivacious, intelligent, kindhearted, also, she was known for creating Chocolate Frogs! And she was only at the mere age of 13 when she did. She was known for creating Chocolate Frogs :albino: AND creator of White chocolate.


Lacus Clyne

Known destroyer of Hogwarts, but Hogwarts was rebuilt. Creator of Song Spells/Hexes/Curses, also creator of Water spells/hexes/curses
1024-1030

Lacus' name is Latin for 'river'. She sang songs, she looked innocent, and she also had pink hair! But deep inside, she was quite evil. Lacus was known for destroying Hogwarts with one of her song spells. Also, she was the youngest witch to learn nonverbal spell at the mere age of 2, and thecreator of Water spells/hexes/curses.She destroyed Hogwarts with her evilness inside breaking free. She hated Hogwarts, she wanted to be non-existant. Because she didn't want to be a witch anymore. She died in battle with Freya.

Name: Melinda Owens
1215 - ?
Melinda Owens was the youngest witch to ever transfigure into an animal. However, her transformation was always unique. Even though she was capable of transfiguring into a full fledged Asian black short hair cat he was also able to stop the transformation halfway. She maintained her human self but her tail, ears, fangs and feline reflexes and abilities also remained. No one was ever able to decipher how she was capable of controlling the transformation so as to stop it midway without causing harm to herself. Healers believed that this was due to the fact that when she was still in her human form she was able to communicate with other felines, not mentally but she actually spoke to them. She had some sort of magical connection with all cats, particularly her familiar, Shadow. Melinda died at the age of ninety in 1305 but mysteriously came back to life shortly after. Some say that like a cat, she too has nine lives.

Name: Nadeshikara
1002 - ?
Nadeshikara was the first and only witch to ever bring someone back from the dead. Nadeshikara was one of the most powerful pureblood witches of her time who fell in love with a muggle. When he was killed by her father she came up with a spell to bring him back. However, her spell went terribly wrong and her lover came back as something dark and unnatural. Her lover returned from the dead and tried to kill her. She in turn was forced to kill him causing a backfire of the spell. In return she was made immortal and forever takes on the appearance of her 13 year old self. The conditions under which the spell must be performed were lost throughout time but only the incantation is known: ’Blacus se darkus eratzie de su sitrea, whitrea se litze mittus hacate marcus ritren’ Nadeshikara disappeared and was rumored to be living on one of the moons of Jupiter
