Oh No, Powers out

well i was wondering what you guys all did if the power went out at your house while you where on the internet....(for those of us who dont have a laptop)

i just garb my gameboy and play it while i wait for the power to come back on so that i can get on the computer again

I would do something stupid like try to fix it, and cause a three day long black-out in the whole area :D (I did it once when i was... 9, i think...)

Well, the internet is connected to the electricity, even if you do have a laptop. So I just play solitare and hope that the power comes back on before this sucker's battery dies

And if that happens, I just sit in darkness.

If the power was out, I'd probably sit around complaining :D

No, I'd read a book, maybe.

Well, if I was downloading some very important anime, I'd probably cry and then beg for a few minutes for the power to come back and if that didn't work, I'd just hug my teddybear until all the lights were on again. :D

one time i spent like 20 minutes screaming that the power went out.... then i called my bothers a few name and then i spent the rest of the time talking to my dog.... i was soooo bored

Well I would probaly scream at the stupid thing then walk around the house and find a book. Bleurgh stupid computer does it all the time. *crucio* yeah I didn't think so!

well if it was at night I'd light candles and flashlights and just lay around probably, perhaps read. If it was daytime I'd do all the things I keep meaning to do but keep putting off because I'm lazy, mostly cleaning with a bit of reading lol.

i wouldnt clean... i was suppose to clean my room like two months ago and the farthest i got was taking down all of my posters.... becuase i got to wipe my walls

If the power went out on me, I would shake the computer and beg for it to come back on. Then I would read a book, play a game on a game boy or play uno. I walk outside for a few minutes. Complain, then tell Dad to call the power Company. The power was out for three hours a few days ago and I almost went crzy.

When the power goes out I just freak out XD seriously the internet went down for 4 hours the other day and I was already going through withdrawals XD

the longest the power went out at our house was two hours.... i was so mad.... i saw typing some spanish words down and when i was half way through the power went out and i just stared at the computer until my brother came in 5 minutes later and said "Hey... the power is out." like i couldnt tell.... lol

I have a laptop.. but even with.. my internet relys on the power.. so I die... when the power goes out and I read a book with the flashlight :D

First, I would scream "Ahh, I cant See" since it always is pitch black in the house when the power goes out. Then, after finding/lighting cndles I would either wait, or get mad cause the dumb power always comes back on as soon as I have lit the candles...or tripped over somthing in the dark!

Most times the power has gone out, I've not been on the computer, for fear it would blow up during the storm. However, I was at work the other day when the power went out while I was on HE. I was in the middle of something I viewed important at the time, but I can't remember what, so I was a little distressed. Then I got started on making sure that there were lights around the hotel and flashlights available for guest use. So I was kept pretty busy.

If I were at home, I would have probably grabbed my booklight and read. Or, I would have just taken the hint if it were night time, and gone to bed.

Haha the power went out for about 10 minutes right on the night before I flew back to Uni .... I was in the middle of packing xD ... my dad lit a candle or two and told me to go to bed. I didn't really feel like going to bed (but I did say "yes, yes" xD), so I rummaged in the almost-pitch-dark after a torchlight, to read for a bit. Found it, then went to brush my teeth - candle in bathroom = nice atmosphere. :D ... and then the power came back. There. My awesome story. XD

No, I think my story will top all, we had these horrible ice storms in St.Louis about 2 years ago, we lost power for a week and a half. Some places didn't have power for 2 weeks. It was insane. Then that summer, we had tornado like weather, power was out for another 2 weeks. Our power company kinda sucks, but when a big city loses power it is a bit overwhelming, cuz the first priorities are major buisnesses and schools.

Anyway, what I do when power's out if it'll happen on day time, I'd probably be reading a book or play with my siblings and if it'll be happening on night time then I might be sitting on a couch staring at the candle. Hahaha!! XD Or sit on a circle with the other family members and play some games. It wasn't bad for me before if powers'll be out cause we don't have internet yet, those days. But now if the power'll went out I would be complaining to everyone. I don't want to be awat that much to HE since I've been active, like for three months now. XD

Hahahahaha!! That's understandable Teffteff. That actually happened to me last night. Oh, I totally hate it.

So, last night, the power did went out. And like you, I'm wandering around HE that time. I was clicking my everyone's dragons when it happened. Guess what?? My jaw also dropped!!! And I also screamed, though just to myself. Cause other family members were already asleep.

I was really into tears, I was staring straight at the laptop. Then, by the time that my tears were so near to falling the power went back. And I jumped!! Hahahahaha!! XD

Then, it went out again. Hoping that it'll go back again, I just played games that were installed here. But it stayed out for half an hour. >.<
That in and out of powers last night was really weird, cause there ain't no storm or even strong winds. >.<

But, anyway, what's best was it went back again after it's playful on and off trick. Ahahahahaha!! XD

I read, listen to my ipod or use my DS usually

Ooo, I get so mad. Espicially if I was doing something I consider important. I'll yell at the ceiling lights to turn back on.

A few years back, not far from halloween the power went out in my house and I ended up doing homework by jack 'o' lantern. Believe me its the only way to do homework.

Usually when the power's out it's 'cause of bad weather, so no power can mean, lots of wind, rain or hail, thunder, etc... So you hide and find something safe :D

when ever power goes out some of the neighbors burglar alarms go off and they don't stop til the power comes back. Then ours comes on and we turn it off.

Ohmygosh. I would die if the power went out in resteraunt without generators. It would be so cruel.

In my old school whenever the power went off so did the clocks. All the schools clocks are now wrong.

Unlucky It's fun. Espicially since my school uses those smartboards for their lessons so they get really mad when they can't use their little powerpoints (;

But like Ellen said, all the clocks end up being wrong which can get annoying. xD

I haven't had one in my new school and i can remember all the schools clocks are 5 mins fast. My old school was pretty low tech so we carry on with work. Whats a smart board anyway?
