The Deathly Hallows

I loved the revelation of what the Deathly Hallows were, and everything surrounding them.

The chapter where they're told the story of the Three Brothers I found particularly fascinating; and then to discover just what the Hallows were was very cool. I loved the idea of Harry having had one of them the whole time, and from the moment the stone was mentioned I had an inkling of what would happen with it.

I'm kind of glad the Hallows weren't Horcruxes, or anything too sinister, that they were "Deathly" simply because they were created by Death.

Me too I thought they were going to be like the wand of ravenclaw but I was sorta right lol! I thought it was good how she did a different bit on the plot so its not just about horcurxes.

I also liked how even Dumbledore was tempted by the Hallows and the power that came with them. All through the books, he seemed like this perfect old man that was always there and always awesome and everything. THis made him more human.

I did like the Hallows element, as it was a nice twist and added flavor

But sometimes, it did distract from the greater mission. If JK Rowling hadn't added little hints about them in the earlier books (Perevell, Gregorovitch) I would have been TOTALLY lost haha

I loved the Hallows and everything revolving around it! I think it was a nice addition to the story and it explains a lot about the cloak of invisibility too

I loved the way each objects were used, and the fact that most people would have chosen the stone or the wand over the cloak because everybody is just thirsty for power. I'd much rather become invisible than bring back the dead or have a powerful wand XD lol

The part when Hermione tells the story was my favorite though, it was really interesting I think. I love legends and stuff like that, even if it's as simple as a child's story.

I also loved how the wand couldn't kill Harry because he was its rightful master, and the fact that because of it, Voldemort was killed with such a simple spell as Expelliarmus.

that part was pretty cool..b4 that i kept wondering why the title was called "deathly hallows" then that story came up..and it all just pieced together.. (esp. hermione's book)

I had been wondering about the title, like, a chapter before the Deathly Hallows were revealed, and still at that point, I hadn't thought about them being connected to the sign at all...
But I did definitely like their story, and I think it was interesting to see how Hermione was actually quite as narrow-minded about them as Mr. Lovegood assumed.

see everyone likes it. but I didnt.. lol.. It just seemed to far fetched for me which is weird coming from a Dramione fan I guess.. but it really does.

Although I will say I did enjoy how the objects were made by Death himself.. as I read a book not to long ago where Death was actually a person. I thought it was brilliant.. and loved how Jo had it in her story..
