Percy was amazing in the book I loved him he showed he was not a pompus git but he was just great. Did anyone else love him I also wanted to hug Percy and I am so glad that he made up with his family.

Yeah, I was pretty proud of him. Especially his one line that went something like, "Hey Minister, did I mention I'm resigning?"

I cheered when Percy came back XD "FINALLY!!!" And then he was fighting alongside Fred against the Death Eaters and Fred was all amused by Percy telling the Minister that he was resigning. It was brilliant.

I felt sooooo sad for him though, because right after he rejoins with his family, he watches his little brother die...

But then we see Percy at the end (19 years later end) lecturing about brooms. And I felt bad for whomever he was yelling at :D

I dunno, I thought the whole thing with Percy showing up was a bit sudden, why the change of heart? I mean I know he's a Weasley and a Gryffindor but earlier on in the book he's still avoiding his dad at the Ministry so when he showed up I didn't quite know what to make of it.

Well, the DE's are attacking Hogwarts, and Percy lurved Hogwarts, that's where he was Prefect and Head Boy. So, and of course, he figured that his family would be fighting there...and I think this just sort of all hit it home to him.

Yea, I'm kinda thinking that way too.
I know Percy was bound to change his ways and come back to his family and fight for the 'right' side, but .... I dunno. I didn't know what to make of his sudden reappearance.

OMG I hated Percy in all of the other books, but, when he came storming in during the battle at Hogwarts I was screaming with joy!!!

Yes Yes Yes! Yay for Percy for realizing where his loyalties were!

The part at the end where he was tugging on his dead brother just made me sob! I was crying for days!

I have believed in Percy since day one, I knew he would come back! But no one believed me... I TOLD YOU SO I TOLD YOU SO! :D

And as for Penelope... They eloped. :D JK's editer just had to cut it out... yeah....

Percy to me was just allways a follower. I don't know I just really never liked him.

I loved Percy that, made me cry! I felt so awful when Fred died. I must have really hurt him because he hadn't been with his family in a long time. sad

Percy's family reunion was a so sad. It probably killed him to know that as soon as he came back, his family began to fall apart.

When I first read it, I accepted it, but now that I look back it feels weird. Like it was sudden. I didn't like Percy either in the earlier books and the only thing I liked about him was the fact that he was a Weasley and he was comic relief becasue Fred and George always picked on him. I am glad he came back though. I think he wanted to all along but couldn't bring himself to do it.

I was glad to see Percy had returned although it was sad what happened and I was kind of hoping that Percy would die after reuniting with his family. I would have preferred him to die over Fred. That was terrible.
