I usually only watch SVU but they're all just amazing.
Anyone else watch it?

I'm a huge L&O junkie. Just had a quick discussion about it earlier with Rama.

I only watch the original and a bit of SVU. Original is still my favorite though. SVU went downhill after Alex Cabot left and the redhead got there. :(

I don't watch the original alot, It's mostly CI and SVU. Aww, you don't like Casey? I was so mad after Alex left and I thought the way they did it was stupid but I like her.

Hmm, my favourite character... I like lawyers, lol, so my favourite character is still Alex Cabot.

No, I don't like Casey. She doesn't seem to have the same relationship with the police that Alex had.

You should totally watch the original more often. It's fun.

Try to catch some of the older episodes too. They're better than the new stuff.

You say you like the lawyerly part better, then you should really like the original. It's got much more of the courtroom drama.

I really don't know. They are so good together but I don't know, I think it'd be a bit awkward if they were together.

I haven't watched L&O in a while. I need to watch the show more, but I never remember when it's on.

They give it on TNT in the evenings, not sure the time.

Yeah, it's always on USA too. Mostly just CI and SVU, though.

I like the USA channel they give some good movies! But I don't watch alot of tv, my Uncle Charlie says it'll fry my brain. lol

I don't find myself watching TV for the sake of TV often. I'm more likely to turn it on to listen to music videos, to be honest. :D

Yep, that was him. I guess before starring in L&O, he had spent years upon years in musicals and on Broadway.

Did you ever watch Trial By Jury, Rama? It was a short-lived spinoff of L&O where it focused mostly on the lawyer side.

yes i did! I thought it was better!

I enjoyed it as well, actually. Too bad that it didn't last too long. I liked the main lawyer. She was from Frasier and Cheers. She played Frasier's wife/ex-wife Lilith.

Overall, I think L&O is in a downward spiral. Too many episodes and too many topics already covered, there'll have to come a day when stories won't be new. Ah, oh well -- I still have my repeats!

Yeah..most of the episodes they give I've seen like ten times, that's just how much I've watched it. lol

I really think they could bring back Trials by Jury though.

*nod* As do I. Maybe present it in a little better face and it'll be more approved. It really was a good idea to focus on the lawyers more. I'm more fascinated by that than the homicide detectives.

yeah, me too. I usually get more caught up in the show when it goes into the lawyers side. XD

Mmmhmm. There's always the wondering if they'll decide to offer a trade or not or if they'll even be able to get the jury to charge the criminal.

There have been so many ADAs too, it's interesting to get to know their characters through the trials.

I like trying to figure out the criminal in question.

Hmm, maybe I could try a shot at being a lawyer. XD

It's fun to do that as well. Love when there's a last unexpected twist at the end of the show that leaves everyone's mouths hanging open.

I know, a few of the shows left me with my mouth hanging open! lol

I always enjoy an episode of Law and Order. If I wasn't studying to be an RN, I'd definately take up law.

Don't know what it is about Jack McCoy's character. Maybe it's just the fact that he's been there forever that makes everyone like him.

Do you guys think they should ever change the "doink doink" noise that's the trademark of the series?

No, I like the. "doink, doink" noise. It's like a suspenseful kinda thing. Plus it's a trademark for the show.


but it does get a little annoying.
