Subject: Your Prophecy Tue Aug 21 2007, 10:30

Write a Prophecy for one of the characters - living or dead. If they would have had a Prophecy, what would it have been? What kind of effect would it have had on the books; the happenings through book one to the final end - if any?

In the mist of trouble waters
The potion snake will follow its heart
The spy with protect its love
The child that he hates
Will have to be cherished and cared
For the child will have troubles ahead
When the Dark One and Chosen meet
One will survive
And you will be by the side

So basically the prophecy that I made is about Snape. It means when the war starts, he has to choose which side to be on and the prophecy predicts that he will protect Lily. Harry, will be the child that he hates but according to the prophecy, he has to take care of him because Harry will have to fight the Dark One which is Voldemort. The battle between them will be until one of them dies and Snape will somehow help Harry every step of the way. It affects what happens because Harry won’t have to grow up with his Aunt and Uncle, will know about magic, and will be cherished. So this prophecy is mainly make change what is going to happen (like throughout the book) because it makes the whole situation like a Snape mentor story.

He will find his way to eternal glory
But he will have to choose
Between living and winning
Choosing one way and leaving the other
Will affect his future more than his past

This is about cedric diggory.This prophecy means that after finishing the 3 tasks at the end of the day he will get to the cup and eternal glory but he will have to choose or to take it and win and have eternal glory and then die,or he can leave the cup and lose but live.
So this prophecy was going to make a very big difference because if cedric read it and knew he was going to die after taking the cup,he wasn't going to take it.
And if he didnt take it the end of the book and the film was going to be different because no one was going to die and there will be two champions not one,and it was going to be a very happy ending.

Will present him the ultimate sacrifice
Of his life for the Chosen One.

This prophecy obviously refers to Sirius Black. Sirius had told Harry he ran away from his parents due to their obsession with pureblood wizarding families. I don’t necessarily know if hearing this prophecy would have changed his allegiances since Sirius would be too proud to make such a selfish decision, but he could have possibly kept to his parent’s agenda if hearing this prophecy at a young enough age to “brainwash” him into becoming a Death Eater. If he pledged kept to his parents pureblood mania, he and Snape could have been best friends instead of him and James. They could have used 12 Grimmauld Place as a Death Eater headquarters instead of an Order Headquarters!

However, hearing this prophecy most likely would mean little to him because he would not know who the “Chosen One” is. However, Sirius probably would know that this chosen one would hold some sort of importance in the battle against Lord Voldemort. Hearing this prophecy then would have better prepared Sirius for his final battle in the Department of Mysteries, and maybe he could have given Harry some closure or forewarning on his predicted death. On the other hand, we all know Harry would react with his “saving people” attitude and would try to save Sirius from the inevitable. Harry could then have died trying to save Sirius and thus would not have been able to save the wizarding and muggle world from Lord Voldemort’s wrath. Not hearing this prophecy, overall, definitely had a positive result on both how Sirius lived his life and for those fighting Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

My prophecy tells of the downfall of Peter Pettigrew aka Wormtail aka scum *cough.
His deceit of James and Lily Potter, laid the path of his future. None of his friends would ever trust him after their deaths, he used Sirius Black's grief to plan a quick escape, causing his one time best friend of many years to be sent to Azkaban. His deceit grew, when Sirius escaped from Azkaban, and finally caught with Wormtail in mid 1994, Sirius, now joined with Remus Lupin, Wormtails other's former best friend, the pair plan to end Wormtails life once and for all. However, the interruption and plea from James and Lily's son Harry, allowed Wormtail to live another day, he escaped and ran back to his former master.

In reviving Lord Mouldiesocks, Wormtail lost his right hand, it was replaced with a dazzling silver hand, which almost completes my prophecy. Because Harry technically saved Wormtail's life, Wormtail was in debt to Harry. On the night of Wormtail's death, he goes to check on Harry and the other's imprisoned in the cellar of Malfoy Manor. wormtail is in the midst of choking Harry when Harry reminds him of the debt, wormtail hesitates, his loyalty and waivers and his death begins, a slow painful death, set in motion by this selfish young man.

Ok so.. basically this is for Draco, because his charachter was very iffy on what side he was on, and it would have been a really great asset to have him on either side. Yes he was a cowered but that was his way of living, he was just like his father in that way.
Breakdown:

- Thus refering too how he was in sixth year, he was alone.. to do this project.. but if you looked harder you would have seen how he wasnt completley happy doing the dark lords bidding.. but more just afraid (COWARD *coughs*) and he would have been able to be molded onto either side.

Its fatal for that night

-Refering to how in the end.. the fact that the light side wasnt all that horrible to Draco (as I think its obvious.. he was tortured on the dark a few times..) turned out that his mother only wanting to take care of Draco saved harrys life..

Get him on your side
and teach him not to hide.

- Basically refers.. as a warning.. to you know.. get Draco.

:So basically this is a prophecy that refers to Lupin and Tonks. The "Color that bends" Is refering to Tonks and the "talents of one" Refer to Lupin as a werewolf. They were "faithful" to Harry Potter and fought for him, and when Harry recalled Lupin, he said he was "sad" never to see his son grow up. So they "Left what was Given"=the birth of their son, and "Death as it's driven" has a double meaning as they were killed by deatheaters (assuming that is true, as JK doesn't elabortate)

An innocent shall be put to the test
With the power of life and death in his hands
A stain upon his soul if he chooses the latter
But either way, the protector shall be put to rest.

This is a prophecy about Draco Malfoy, and, at the end, Albus Dumbledore. It describes how Draco had a choice of whether or not to kill Dumbles, and if he did, he would be ‘tainted’ (soul ripped in pieces and whatnot). No matter what he chooses, however, Dumbly would be ‘put to rest’ (read: killed), if not by Draco, but by someone else.

I think that if Draco had heard this prophecy, he would probably have decided to not kill Dumbledore. I mean, he doesn’t like to make people mad, he wants them to think highly of him-and ‘stain upon his soul’ probably makes him think of dirty things (like muggleborns) and he clearly wouldn’t want that. He probably would also try to warn Dumbledore, I mean, I’m sure he cares about the guy in some way…

But, in the end, Dumbledore would just have had Snape kill him, like the prophecy says-because Dumbledore knew he had to die in order for things in the book series to work.

Tainting him with untruths

This is a prophecy written about Severus Snape. It details his journey into darkness, that is, his start as a Death Eater. The reference to his path taking many twists and turns refers to how people view him flip-flopping from one side to the other. The shadows rising refers to the rebirth of Voldemort and the rise of his Death Eaters. The light fading refers to the death of Dumbledore, which he admits to doing.

A girl shall be born

Picked on by classmates

When she and her friends
Will meet the Dark Lord

Both Muggles and wizards

This prophecy is just saying that Luna will be picked on by her classmates because of all of the things that she says and believes in. Even though everyone makes fun of her it doesn’t bother her too much and eventually she makes friends with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Neville. At first none of them want to spend any time around her but eventually they all start to like her. Whenever Harry or the others are in trouble, Luna is always there to help. One of the places that Luna helps out at is when they all went to the Department of Mysteries. Here Luna tried her hardest to protect her friends. Then later on when Harry, Ron and Hermione leave Hogwarts to look for the Horcruxes, Luna, Ginny and Neville all keep on with the D.A. meetings and standing up to the teachers even if they get punished. Once Harry and the others come back Luna is willing to help Harry out however she can. Then once the Death Eaters start to invade the castle Luna is there helping the others to fight them away.

This prophecy is about Freds death during the great battle. The prophecy helped predict when his time was coming to an end. Even in his death the world will cheer. I love that part. It was sad that he died but with Voldy gone this gave the wizarding world hope again.This would have been told to Fred a week before his death. During this time he and his brother were up to no good in the mistry of magic. Apparently he found a creepy room with orbs stacked ceiling high. Glancing around her noticed his orb. As he picked it up the prophecy is what he heard. He knew right away what it meant and knew the battle was closing in closer and closer to this death.

This prophecy is about Draco Malfoy. It explains his childhood, but his kind nature deep down inside. It predicts that he will do good to all. I find that true, as after the dark lord fell, he seemed to change. Draco was born into a family that clearly held the pureblood only ideal. I decided to start the prophecy with that sentence, because It explains a lot about him. I puut in things about his hair and smirk, so as it is not confused with others. My favorite part is the sentence that says "Kindness is in his nature". I believe deep down, Draco has feelings of love. He has just hidden them. Also, this prophecy predicts the fall of the Dark Lord. That surely enough happens, and then Dracos parents see the downfall of their master. Then, he finally displays the kindness he has hidden for so long.

Leaving one living memory left, the son, that will avenge his death.

This prophecy is for James Potter. The first line explains his joking nature but ultimatly turns into a tool for tormenting those he doesn't like. He is loved by his wife Lily, and his friends. But when his life is at its highest, which is most likely when hes newly married, with their own son and home, he is murdered along with Lily Potter. The living memory is of course Harry Potter, who ends up killing Voldemort, avenging his parent's death's and finishing the prophecy.

"In the month of April
a set of twins shall be born
they'll grow up in a unique way
creating pranks everyday
a business they shall create
but dark times shall rise again
taking away one of them
leaving the other to regret this death
but in the end his memory will be rewarded
his name he shall inherit to his brother's child."

This prophecy is about Fred & George Weasley. It all starts with "In the month of April" which is when they were born. April 1st. to be exact. "A set of twins shall be born" meaning the children born will be twins. "They'll grow up in a unique way" shows us the will be quite different from their brothers. Troublemakers, and not getting anything highly important like being Prefects or Head of Houses. "Creating Pranks everyday" will show how they will have such an ability to create pranks and jokes. And it's what they basically live for. "A business they shall create" talks obviously about Weasleys Wizard Wheezes which is they shop they open in Diagon Alley. Selling all products that are made by them. Mostly jokes and things for entertainment. "but dark times shall rise again" warns us about how after they create their business or while they create it dark times will come again. Lord Voldemort and his followers will gain power once again. "taking away one of them" show us that in the final battle one of the twins will die, unfortunately. "leaving the other to regret this death" will show us how much pain the other twin will suffer and how he will feel empty without his twin by his side. "but in the end his memory will be rewarded" it shows that his memory will be rewarded and he will be remembered nicely by everyone who knew him. He'll never be forgotten. "his name he shall inherit to his brother's child" tells us how his brother in honor of him will name his child like him. To remember him and honor his memory.

For honour is the greatest sacrifice of them all

My prophecy was made for Rowena Ravenclaw and I feel it would not have any difference in the slightest as it happened so long ago.
The First line: Intelligence Beyond Belief shows us who the prophet, me, is on about. As this was made for Rowena Ravenclaw.
The second line: Sharp as in eagle meaning her intelligence is as sharp as an eagle but also including eagle because that is the animal she chose for her sign as Ravenclaw.
The third line: She will fall for the one she despises the most. A simple statement to say that she will fall in the love with the man she hates the most.
The fourth line: Cunning, cold and calculating. The three words that I would say describe Salazar Slytherin meaning that the prophet for sees that she will fall in love with Salazar Slytherin.
The fifth line: A choice shall be made. Again a smimple statement saying that Rowena will have to make a choice.
The sixth line: Love or Honour This one is telling us what the choice she will have to make will be between. She will have to choose between love or honour.
The Seventh line: For honour is the greatest sacrifice of them all. This again is a true statement, saying that it may be the hardest choice she will have to make between love and honour her love for the man she once hated of her duty to the school. Honour is the hardest thing she would have to choose from. Though it does not say which one she chooses as that would be up to her.

My prophecy was made for Millicent Bulstrode and I feel it would not have any difference in the slightest as it would be what Millicent wants.

The First line: The one who dotes on Draco, shows that the person who the prophet- me- is on about, is a person who hangs around with Draco Malfoy, therefore is mostly probably a Slytherin.

The Second line: And name begins with M. Says that the person who I am talking about's first name begins with M- Millicent Bulstrode.

The Third line: Must watch out for her robes. Explains that Millicent must check her robes.

The Fourth line: No cat hairs may blemish them. Meaning that she must get no cat hairs on her robes.

The Fifth line: The one who you fight at the school duel. A simple statement that basically means Hermione.

The Sixth line: Will take hair from your robes. This is basically saying that whoever she fights will try to pick some hair off of Millicent's robes.

The Seventh line: Make sure that hair is human hair. This again is a plain and simple statement, saying that Millicent must make sure that it is only human hair on her robes.

The Eighth line: Or she'll get a furry nose. Basically saying that if she doesn't make sure that it is only human hair she will end up with a Hogwarts student- Hermione - looking like her cat- only much bigger.
