Task 1: Raising the Bounty

School trips need money, so your first task is to raise your trip fees. You must complete this task to be allowed on the trip!

It
is your task to create and run a schools out charity night to raise
this money. Each member must complete the following to raise enough
money for their trip;

Perform a short speech to your 'audience' about why you believe they should donate you the money for the trip
Invite a celebrity and 'sell' an item related to them (post picture of celebrity and item and describe item to 'audience'
Find a 'venue' for your ball (post pic of venue and write out directions from HE castle)
Plan a list of 10 music tracks relevent to the task
Create invitation to your ball.
Decorate your 'venue'
Anything else you might think of

Remember: You must complete this task to start the rest of your trip!

*clears thoart* Thank your for gathering here today for the HE fundraiser. Hogwarts Experience's Staff want to take their great students to a field trip, but that cannot happen without your help. Today I stand here to ask you to donate some money to us in order to let the student go on a field trip. Why should you? Well, it's because the students of HE really deserve a trip to get time off of their classes- after everyone needs a break sometimes. Another reason you should donate money is because you will get a warm fuzzy feeling like when you help a friend -in other words, you'll be doing a good thing. Okay, fine let's just go with the idea that the guy wearing the blue sweater in the front row is telling me. He said "How about if I don't want to get the warm fuzzy feeling" My first answer to that is 'You don't want to have a fuzzy feeling?' then I'll gasp but then, that's not appropriate right now *audience laughs* it's just that all the HE staff and students will really appreciate that donations. So remember, to have a fuzzy feeling and help with a good cause: donate some money to help sponsor HE's trip! Thank you *audience claps and I bow*

Description:

Hello. This is a toy 'knight bus' like the one that Harry Potter rode in during his escape in PoA. On it is the words 'Hogwarts Experience meaning that it can be like a school bus for HE. There is also a slight imprint of a purple hippo on the side showing the mascot of HE. This bus can used by little toddlers as a sitting 'scooter' or can be opened to put thier toys. So for older people, it can be used for putting/storing things.

Where it is at:

Hogsmeade Park is a little known park about half a mile away from the small village called Hogsmeade. The park is lush green with mutliple extotic plants and has a beautiful fountain in the middle of a pond. Near the fountain is a small area reseved for parties/picnics. The fundraiser will be held there.

From HE castle: walk past all the stores and follow a yellow brick road until you see a towering cedar tree (you can't miss it) then turn left and follow a small path lined with rose bushes until you see an apple orchard. Arriving here, turn right and when you see the a beautiful blue clear pond- you have arrived at Hogsmeade Park!

Decoration:

Around the fountain will be multiple tables covered with purple tablecloth. Under a shade of a tall tree will be a long table covered with food for the small buffet that is going to happen before and during the speeches. There will be soft music in the background before the speeches start. There are banners about the fundraiser floating in the air and streamers hanging from the branches. Other than those decorations, the park is beautiful enough.

Venue Decoration

The hall is decorated in Hufflepuff colours supported by charity banners and Schools Out posters. Photos of the upcoming trip are posted on notice boards and balloons and streamers hang from the ceiling. Tables are covered with confetti in the shape of badgers with floating candles in the center. The stage is decorated with heavy gold curtains and a red carpet runs the length of the hall from entrance to stage.

Hello, all you lovely ladies, gentlemen and hippos. It is an honor to have you here. Many of you are aware of the great good HE does for mankind and creatures everywhere. We establish alliances between nations, dabble in magical and Muggle subjects alike, and generally educate ourselves to the best of our ability. Rarely is one turned away from HE castle.

Now, a selected group will be going on a special journey, to further continue the great work HE does every day. Do you not agree that we deserve this opportunity? However, we cannot embark on this trip without your help. Any gold you can spare would go a long way towards sending us on a great adventure. Wouldn't you like to have had a part in it?

This is a first edition of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The inside is signed by J. K. Rowling, and bears the message: "I love the Leaky Cauldron!" followed by the signature of J. K. Rowling and the universally accepted sign for a kiss. A kiss from J.K. Rowling! Now imagine that. *big grin*

Harry Potter fans worldwide would do nearly anything to get their hands on one of these rare copies! We have here five more autographed books, each with different messages. Starting the bidding on OotP at 250 galleons. Do I hear G300?

Taking place in the unplottable HE Goblin Center. This is a picture of the 'undecorated' Center. Even undecorated it is quite a sight. It is all mahogany, marble, enchanted carpets, bewitched ceiling, flickering glass windows, disappearing doors...you name it, and the Center's got it.

All guests should assemble in the South Tower of HE castle, where our assistants will be handing out library books enchanted to be Portkeys. Make sure to ask for an ID before you accept a Portkey from ANYONE! Authentic Portkeys will speak your name one minute before departure.

We are very happy to announce that the Diddly Dragons will be performing. There will be classical piano while you eat, and a very special guest as well!

Venue Decoration:

The Center will have a bar and buffet along one wall. Along two other walls will be little tables. The front of the room is reserved for the musicians and auction, and the middle is for dancing if anyone becomes so inclined. There will be four different colors decorating the room, black, silver, gold and bronze. This is to show that HE stands for house unity, all the colors united. The tablecloths, wall hangings, streamers and candles will all be one of the four colors each. Have you ever seen black flame? It's beautiful. Nothing like a first time.

Firstly, thank you all for attending at such short notice. As you may be aware, some members of HE have been selected to partake in a schools out trip, though due to the purple hippo eating the money, we are needing to raise funds. This is where I would like to hand over to you.

*ahem* Ladies and gentlemen, wizards and witches, I hereby welcome you all to tonight’s wonderful fundraiser – Hypnotised! So called because we are going to be Hypnotising you into handing over your money. Ha-ha! I kid, I kid!

As you all know, a selection of the wonderful students of the Hogwarts Experience have been accepted onto the year’s School Trip and I, Chelle, am one of those students. As important as indoor lessons are, it is equally important for students to engage in outdoor activities, especially those on a School Trip. Thus I have invited you all here tonight to ask a special request – that you aid in raising enough funds for the said trip.
You generous folks will be able to bask in the knowledge that you enabled some fine students to partake on the trip of a lifetime and further their studies, and that my friends, is a marvelous feat.

And don’t believe for one moment that you will be walking away empty handed, for tonight we have not one, but two – yes two! – fabulous guests lined up for your enjoyment, one of who will be providing music. As well as that, we also have some exciting items for sale in what will be a fast-paced auction and a wide selection of food and drinks available for you to order, located in the menu on your tables.

I don’t want to keep you listening to me all day, so without further ado I now announce this fundraiser officially open! And don’t forget to donate generously!

Venue & Decoration:

SCHOOL TRIP : TASK 1 : Raising The Bounty Vectorhall

The Vector Hall is located in the small village of Octron, situated just East of the Hogwarts Castle. Upon leaving the gates of Hogwarts Castle, simply walk down the gravel path which will lead you to the Parkland, where you will be directed by our staff to a boat on the Earling Lake. From there, the boat will safely take you to Lake Hurstling, located in Octron. Once out of the boat, simply walk ahead and you will find yourself arriving at the gates of the Vector Hall. Upon your arrival house-elves will be available to direct you to the Main Hall, where the said fundraiser shall be taking place.

Once inside the Main Hall, tables will be situated around the dining area of the Hall, with a large dancefloor in front of the dining area. Thus enabling guests to float between the two areas throughout the night. Tables will have menus located on them, enabling guests to purchase food and drinks when and if they choose. Tables will be decorated with plain white tableclothes, with candles located in the middle of each table. Flower arrangements will also be on each side of the candles.

The Stage will be decorated with many colourful lights and a podium will be to the left of the stage, for the Hostess to make her speech and to introduce folks. The walls of the Main Hall wil be filled with blue banners (for the Ravenclaw House), while Yellow, Red and Green balloons (for the remaining houses) will be throughout the hall.

Celebrity + Auction:

Tonight, ladies and getlemen, we have a very special guest with us who had agreed to come along and sell something very dear to their hearts in order to help fund this trip. This guest muggle has a wide range of abilities, from acting to singing to songwriting to comedy. He has recently been on tour with his best friend and band member, Kyle Glass, both of whom recently starred in their own and movie titled - The Pick of Destiny. A funnyman at heart, he will be entertaining us with some stand-up comedy tonight as well as autioning off some of his items.

Wizards & Witches, I give to you, the one, the only - Mr. Jack Black !

My name is Rigby Dumbledore. Many of you know me, many of you have seen me walking the halls of Hogwarts. But how well do we really get to know each other in a school setting, where the emphasis is on learning and not socializing? As a Ravenclaw most of my free time is spent at the library or studying in the common room. I have often heard muggles say that your school friends are your best friends. But where in our busy schedules do we take the time to bond? I believe the answers lie in the School Trip. Traveling, exploring new settings, relaxation, those are the activites that will lead to deeper friendships. I urge each and everyone of you to come to my School Trip Fundraiser and Soiree. The proceeds from the event will help to fund the first ever Hogwarts Experience School Trip. Don't be left out, and don't be left behind!

This talented musical act is known both in the Muggle and Wizarding Worlds, recently the girls have reunited and Hogwarts Experience will be one of their first stops. In order to raise money will be auctioning off demo tape from their recording sessions for their upcoming album! Remember you can only bid if you come to party first!
