Your task is as follows:

Web Designer
You are required to work
as part of your team to create a simple freewebs.com site. All members of this group will all
need to know the password and username to add things to it. You will
need to delegate positions of responsibility and create the site based
upon The Hogwarts Experience. How you create it is up to you.

Possible Housepoints:

800 per person

I have not done anything on there except set up the basics.

I am also just about to send you all the username and password so we can work together to all create this site.

Alright dudes - I'm telling you now I rule at web design but I haven't done 'simple' in ages lol. So first thing first we need to hand out various jobs and there is 5 of us. So what I would like to know is - what are your strengths. Team lead, coders, graphic designers, content - etc. We'll also need to decide what we want the page to be about and what should be on there.

I feel so incompetent... I'm not quite sure why I got WEb Designer on the quiz, because I've never done it before... So basically, I'm useless XD. Just put me where you want me... and I'll learn my task as best I can.

Okay... XD I can do that.

I think that I still remember the basic codes but its been a whole year since I had to use them. I took a class on it for 18 weeks so I dont know that much HTML coding

Right I'm pretty much like June, I have no experience in web design whatsoever. XD So just tell me what you want me to do and I shall try my best.

I know Mick and I have the graphic experience for pics on the site....I know I have coding experience [although we could use the compiler they have on freewebs but it doesn't come out as nice.

Stephy, Amber and June - we need a site name, how many pages we want, what it's going to be about, etc. And we need to work as a work. If you want to work on a page each - maybe that's the way to go? Or one person does the writing for the web page, one does the coding, one does graphics, etc. Although...working in groups was never my strong point - so maybe 2 people work on pages and the other can do - hmm

I can do a certain amount of HTML for teaching myself and having Sharon teach me, though if you want to do coding and html for this challenge lily then Im good with that. I can do some grahics maybe?

So what are we focusing on for our site?

Did we want it to be HP themed? There really weren't any restrictions on what it could be on or not

Well it says on there it's suppose to be about H.E., though what do we want it to be about when talking about H.E.? XD

What if, in the web page, we covered a specific part of HE? Or maybe we could make the web page so that in a way, it summarizes HE as a whole? Kind of like a site based on the School's Out Newspaper going on right now?

*has had only 4 1/2 hours of sleep and isn't feeling exactly creative right now*

EDIT: I just did a bit of work on the site... could someone go check it out and tell me if its alright? I'm sorry if I took a bit too many liberties...

it looks really good... i like what you have done so far.. i say that maybe we should adversite the site a little...maybe
