Halloween Dance

Welcome to the spookiest dance around. The Great Hall is bedecked with pumpkins and bats, and the students are resplendent in robes of black and orange.

If you participate in the Halloween Dance, you can earn housepoints for the following categories, with a maximum of 60 points per person available:
· Outfit: description, picture, doll
· Music Suggestions
· Participation
· RPG style and creativity

kayz sits and giggles and every1 putting there heads into god knows what to get apples

" Iv never done this ,but Ill give it a try.." Zelda said now sticking her head in the water to get an apple. A few seconds later she had one. " Who is next... there is still some in there...a few people still need to go." Zelda said while looking around the room.

" Who is left there is only like one or two left??" Zelda said while looking around the room.

Lifey, gracefull as ever and even more elegant this year, the older she got, swept into the Room, Glancing around to see who was about and smoothing her dress.

Although she was rarely active anymore, she couldn't pass up the chance to dress up in a stunning gown and dance.

Lifey nearly choked on her own laughter to a joke she knew only her best friend, and the occasional random Dane Cook fan would understand. Still giggling to herself she perched herself atop the punch table, amusing herself with her wand. Conjuring sparkely confetti, charming the back of some guy's dress robes to twist and shout like the song. litterally.

Lifey's at first rather passive face was lit with extreme animation as one of her best friends bounced over to her.

"ELANA!" She squeeled loudly, "I LOVE YOU!" She jumped up and down hyperly before calming herself to dance until she her elana's voice cut through the music.

Did she just say...Random Guy?

"Oh. My. GOD!" She hissed excitedly, "It's him! it's Random Guy!" Her hands flew to her hair, her make up and her dress all in a blurr, forgetting for a moment that she had her wand with her, "How do i look? should i have worn a real costume?" She thought for a moment, quirking her eyebrow before waving her wand extravagantly over her head, conjuring an extremely sparkily tiara. "There, i'm a princess now..."she giggled.

Zelda heard a bunch of laughter and looked around for it then she saw some girls and walked over to them. " Hey nice to meet you, she said to the new one. I'm Zelda. What is your name?" Zelda asked.

In a gown of flowing color and shine, June was liquid gold as she walked into the much-anticipated event of the Halloween Dance. She dug her fingernails into the palm of her hand and nervously looked around for her friends. She shifted her weight from one foot to the another, thankful that she hadn't gotten the two-inch stilettos she had been considering... one inch of heel was quite enough, thank you. With her other hand, June slowly smoothed down the silky fabric of her dress. It had taken her forever to pick out one that had looked (and felt) Just Right... and truth be told, she hadn't even been sure that the one she was wearing right now was Just Right. But now that she was actually wearing it at the dance, and looking at all the beautifully-dressed people around her, June grinned tentatively; her dress was Just Right. It was strapless, and near the top of the bodice and the waist area, silvery-gold glitter spread out, in snow-flake shapes. Yes, she knew it was for the Halloween dance, but June felt that it was still appropriate. After all, the gold color was ever-so-slightly tinted with oranges and browns, perfect for Halloween.

Lifey quickly changed her waist length brown hair into an even longer mass of CURLY brown locks. the perfect princess Rapunzel.

"Oh no you DON'T!" Lifey muttered as her friend ditched her for a Random Guy. For the Random Guy Lifey was eyeing.

Lifey dashed up behind the pair dancing and grabbed Random Guy's arm.

"YOu remember me"She smiled, putting on full charm and batting her eyelashes, "i'm so glad you could make it."

She pulled him away, a firm grip on his arm, and started to waltz with him.

"What a talented dancer you are R.G. And you smell so good!" She cooed.

Jenn adjusted her flowing white gown and stepped into the ballroom. As she swept a long curl out of her face, she took a long glance around the room. As she was already a bit late as it was, she decided to wear the same outfit she wore to the Ravenclaw Renaissance fair. Luckily, all she had to do with add a tiara and it completed her modernized Snow White costume. After all it was simple, but elegant, therefore perfect for the ruler of the 4th Kingdom, the House of White.

As her brown eyes scanned the room, she caught sight of Random Guy dancing with both Elana and Lifey?! What an outrage! After all, everyone knew that Random Guy belonged to her! She was the one that dragged him off of the streets to attend weddings with her! Slowly stepping toward them, Jenn waited until Lifey and Elana faced each other and started arguing loudly. With a light tap on his shoulder, he cringed his head around and gifted her with a smile when he recognized her beaming face.

As she lightly put a hand on his arm, Jenn smiled and slowly slid her hand down to grasp his fingertips. “Why don’t we just leave them to themselves?” She asked with a wink. “We could whisk off to Kissing Town for a bit for some rrromance!” Jenn dramatically said as she rolled the r’s off her tongue like Wolf taught her to long ago.

Dani hung back from the fun and games, she clutched at a rabit foot in her purse and frowned, being very superstitous she glanced around before pulling out her wand and casting a repelant charm against black cats on her. She smiled and pulled out her Tarot cards and started to shuffle them.

"'I'll read your future, I'll tell you no lies, what you see is what you get there is no suprise,'" she said in a sing song voice and shuffled somemore.

Lifey was clinging to poor R.G.'s OTHER arm, the one Elana wasn't pulling on.

"Don't even think about Kissing Town Jenn" She whispered over at Jenn as R.G. stood there looking bewildered

"How about I dance a dance with each of you" Random Guy Suggested only to be inturrupted half way through the sentence by all three girls.

"SHUT UP, we aren't talking to you!"

"He's mine!" Lifey said quickly, "Afterall, i have the lovely lucious long locks"

Amber walked into the ball, making sure her halo was in place. She smiled slightly as she remembered how much fun she had at last years ball, then she had been nervous about it, but now she knew better. After all this was an H.E. ball, it was bound to be loads of fun and she couldn't wait to have some. She looked around at all the people in costumes and smiled at some she saw. She looked down at her own costume and shrugged.

She made a line straight to the bunch bowl, where there was a bowl of candy sitting next to it. She grinned and found a fun size pack of skittles. As she began eating them, she turned around to try and see if she could locate anyone she knew.

June breathed a sigh of relief as she saw Amby enter the room. "Amber!!!" she called over the din of the crowd and music, and half-ran half-walked over to her friend who had migrated, expectedly, towards the snack table. Huh... June hadn't even noticed it. "Your costume looks great!" she said, grinning at Amby.

" I know what you are talking about... My feet are hurting too!" Zelda said.

"Ok bye." He said waving back.

" Hey polly how are you?" Zelda asked.

Zelda turned to look at the girls that where shouting... " wow.." Zelda said softly.

Stephums!" Polly said skipping over to her. "O wow you look great" she said twirling with a piece of her hair. "Come dance."


"Ok" Stephy replied as she was dragged across the room and started to dance for awhile

Zelda had just noticed that Oddie come out from hiding... and walked over to her. " I noticed you didn't' get an apple." Zelda said.

" Thank you!" Zelda said as she took some of the sweets... " Mmmmm these are good." Zelda said.
