Malfoy's Mansion

He cleared his throat awkwardly as she walked away, and exited. He stood there a moment, staring at where she had left. He shook his head and came to, proceeding towards the corner he had planned to plant himself at. He leaned against the wall and watched everyone with repulsion.

He watched them all for awhile, contemplating how people who seemed so normal when among one another, could do such unimaginable things. He looked down at himself and began to feel out of place. He wasn't a Deatheater at all. Just the nephew of two. He sighed and looked over to the exit. He stalked towards it quickly, and unintentionally, wound up in the exact same place Violet was. He looked to her a moment uncertainly, then decided it couldn't hurt to try and repair things, could it?

After all... If he was going to have to associate with her at all at Hogwarts, he may as well do so in a mildly friendly manner. He didn't consider this to be friendship at all, only a way to insure his own betterment. She's a filthy vampire, but a dangerous creature none the less, the type you don't want to be on the bad side of.

He quietly walked over to her, then began to speak, not entirely close to her, but not entirely far away.
"Violet... I'd like to apologize for my reaction before. You had been perfectly normal to me..." He trailed off a moment, then continued. "So, you know... sorry."

Violet froze and turned around. She glanced over him and shook her head. “Sure you are.” She said, walking out into the gardens. She bit her lip softly, looking at the flowers. For a pure-blood, Narcissa sure did have a lot of muggle things in their yard, including albino peacocks. She sighed and leaned against the tree she had walked upon. She remembered where her and Draco would measure who was talker. As always, she lost but it was still fun to look at it. She lifted her dress up and pulled her wand out.

“No better time then right now.” She mumbled, turning to the tree. She whispered something and her knife appeared and she started carving into the tree. After she was done, she traced over the fairy she made and smiled. “Better then nothing.” She whispered, making her knife disappeared and put her wand up. She decided it was time to walk back inside.

She glanced back over at Draco and Pansy and shook her head. She breathed deeply and grabbed a rose from the bushes and started picking off the petals. At least she couldn’t get in trouble for it. She glanced back up as she saw the lights from the house shinning. She glanced around for Soren and breathed a sigh of relief at not seeing him. “Perfect. Now…if he doesn’t end up sitting at my table…” She whispered softly.
