Welcome, one and all to what may be the greatest Quidditch Game of this season! The teams are...Team Uno and Team Dos (XD). This game is sure to be like no other because there will be various different surprises in for our players. The match will start today (4th November) and run for 4 days, ending on the 7th November. Make sure you post in time so that you have a chance to win the Honorary Gryffindor for this month.

Please ensure that you put your team name and your position in every post and don't forget to write in red!

The weather for this match is looking great, the sun is out, ensuring that everyone will be warm. Luckily...its hidden by a thin layer of cloud so that it won't obstruct visibilty. Looks like even God is supporting Gryffindor today! Gryffindor Spirit Week - The Game! 436937

You will be awarded points on the following things:
-General Quidditch Skill
-How well you cope with challenges
-Gryffindor-ness! (Possibly the most important catergory! XD)

(Chaser 2)

As the ball flew into the air Polly zoomed forward grabbing hold on the ball. Securing it under her arm she began to fly forwards at a steady pace looking for someone to pass the quaffle too.

(KEEPER 1)

Kaitlyn looked all around and watched as the game started and was ready to protect the hoops with that qualful came her way.

(CHASER- TEAM UNO)

Elana strode onto the pitch, the unfamiliarity of red robes making her slightly uncomfortable. It wasn't every day that you flew around in your usual opponents colors, right? But it wasn't an ordinary day- it was the day of the Gryffie Spirit Week Quidditch Game! Trying out the position of Chaser for the first time, Elana swung a leg over her broom, kicked off, and flew up into the air.

As of yet, there were only two other players on the pitch- polly, a Chaser for Team Dos, and Kaitlyn, Keeper for Team Uno. She flew up into position, waiting anxiously for Madame Hooch to throw up the Quaffle, to release the Bludgers- for the game to begin.

(Chaser- Team Dos)

Stephy walked out onto the field with her broom in her hand. Once she was out in the middle of the field, Stephy kicked hard off of her broom and looked around to see who had the quaffle. After a few minutes of searching she quickly spotted Polly with the red ball under her arms. Stephy flattened herself down on her broom and zoomed over towards her

Kaitlyn watched as Stephy Zoomed towars to quafle and Kaitlyn didn't take her eyes off it.

(Chaser-Team Dos)
Stephy flew over towards Polly and after sneaking up on her, she was able to knock the quaffle out of her hands before she turned her broom sharply around. During her turn, Stephy had almost fallen off of her broom but luckily she had a tight grip on and she managed to regain her balance. With a confident look on her face, Stephy zoomed on down the field right towards Kaitlyn who was the opposing team's keeper. Stephy threw back her left and she felt the quaffle leave her hand and soar towards the right goal post but when the quaffle was almost out of reach, Stephy quickly batted it towards the left goal post with her right hand. She hoped that this sudden change in direction would confuse Kaitlyn, letting her make a goal for her team

Kaitlyn saw that Polly had lost the quafle and that Stephy was coming her way. Kaitlyn tightened her mussels. She leaned over her broom and tucked her feet in and squeezed her broom handle. What she was going to need is speed and brain power... Being physical prepared she thought of the ball coming towards her. She tried to quickly think of what tactic Stephy would use.. would she come strait at her or a side approach. Would she make a "Q" turn and release it at the last moment or would she hit it fast so she would have to act fast. what ever it was Kaitlyn thought of what she was going to do. As Stephy was almost there Kaitlyn looked at her face and her broom and saw which way it was going. Kaitlyn did not move ,but just looked at the broom as it went down the middle... when Stephy got closer Kaitlyn saw her throw the quaffle to the right and Zelda acted super fast and siffted with her ,but not to the degree that Stephy was throwing the quaffle Zelda was in between the middle hoop and the right hoop. All of the sudden when the quaffle was almost out of reach with her bat she hit it to the left.... The mussels in Kaitlyn arms flexed and her broom soared as fast as it could go to the left side of the feild.... Would she make it? ... Since the quffle was almost out of reach of Stephie's bat when she hit it the quffle didn't have as much speed and spin that it could of had if Stephy would have hit it earlier ,but then she would have lost her surprise factor if she would have done that. The quffle sorrow over the air and so did Kaitlyn. When the quffle was within three feet of the goal Kaitlyn reached out her arm with the bat as far as it would go and weakly tried to hit the ball towards Polly ,but it was weak. She might have managed to block the goal ,but she didn't know if Polly would get it or not.

As Stephy pulled her broom away from the goal posts she quickly looked back and saw that Kaitlyn had managed to prevent the quaffle from getting in and that she batted it towards Polly. Stephy flatten herself on her broom and saw to her delight that the quaffle wasnt soaring that fast and if she was lucky she might be able to send another surprise to Kaitlyn. Stephy quickly caught up to the quaffle before it made it to Polly and by shifting her wieght, Stephy managed to get her broom to spin around in a circle. By the time the quaffle had reached her, Stephy had managed to hit the quaffle towards the goal post with much speed with the tail end of her broom.

Pulling out of the spin, Stephy watched as she broom quickly made its way down to the left goal post. She just hoped that Kaitlyn might be a little surprised and this would cause her to delay in blocking the quaffle. If not she was ready to go after it if she blocks it.
