Cemetery Haunt!

(Lord Voldemort)

Lord Voldemort stalked inside the cemetery, his long robes rasping softly against the snow. Soon it would be dark...perfect. There was some business he needed to attend to. And then there would be play...business before pleasure. His pale lips curled in a demonic smile as he vanished gracefully behind a tree.

(Lucius Malfoy)

Lucius stomped tiredly into the cemetery, his eyes adjusting to the growing dark. his feet crunched against the snow beneath steps, his eyes roaming over the place he spotted as a place to lurk and be ready to hunt.

With silenced steps, Lucius strode elegantly over to a rather large mossileum and took his place, awaiting the hunt to begin.

A panicked scream tore across the cemetery, and then there was dead silence. Then, in between the patter of rain beginning to fall from the sky, the sound of satisfied, high-pitched laughter rolled through the shadows.

An eerie, rasping voice came out of seemingly nowhere. "Now, time to play. And my name is LORD VOLDEMORT. Not ickle Voldy-poo. Not Tom. Not Morty. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"

(Narcissa Malfoy)

Narcissa entered the cemetery. Her eyes went first to her husband Lucius, but then she heard a bit of laughter which could only be that of her sister, Bellatrix. She then turned and saw her sister holding up her wand. At the other end was a little girl with her wand also out, glaring at Bella. The Weasley girl.
She then went to Bella's side, her wand in her hand, resting at her side.

(Lord Voldemort)

"Ah...I see I have some pleasant company," Lord Voldemort said in a smoothly satisfied voice. "No, I didn't mean YOU guys," he snapped at Narcissa, Lucius and Bellatrix. "My dear Nagini is here...and I daresay I saw that fiery blood traitor somewhere here. You can't hide, ugly little girl."

Lord Voldemort sniffed loudly, his mouth widening in a grim smile. "Even if I couldn't detect the fear radiating off you, Weasley, Nagini would find you in no time at all..."

He turned to the present Death Eaters and sneered. "I propose a hunt. Ooh, and a competition! Whoever Crucios the blood traitor girl first is the WINNER!"

His pale hands clenched his wand, making them even whiter. "Well, what are you all looking at? I could tell you where she is, of course, but that would be no fun..."

(Lucius Malfoy)

Lucius was watching the events of his fellows and the blood traitor unfold, he noticed his Master's eyes stray to a tombstone and grinned to himself, Long live the Dark Lord thought Lucius, as she watched the Tomb in front of his hiding place.

I'l have to do this carefully, he thought to himself since he didn't want to be spotted by his wife or sister in law. Tapping his head with his wand, Lucius snuck from behind his mosselium and moved as quietly as the dead themselves until finally, he was beside Ginny Weasley, his wand at her throat and his breath on her neck.

"Peak a boo, i see you," he murmured in her ear.

The Dark Lord snorted and suppressed a sneer at the way Ginny evaded her captor. "That would never work with me..." he whispered softly. "Not being human does have its advantages." He sniffed her out again but deliberately turned away, not wanting to make things any easier for his loyal followers. That would be cheating, he thought, and then laughed.

He held a hand out for Nagini and smiled as she curled around his forearm, hissing and baring her fangs. "Soon, my dear...soon you shall feast," he crooned to his beloved pet.

"Have none of you yet found the blood traitor?" he demanded, and his burning eyes swept across the group until at last they fixed on Bellatrix. He curled and uncurled the fingers that clutched his wand, as though he were itching to use it...

"Will I need to be the one to reveal her pathetic hiding place? Can you do nothing on your own?"

(XD Why did you pick Ginny? You're just begging to be tortured...Anyway, Lucius didn't see you, he saw LV glancing at a tombstone and took a lucky guess. Lord Voldemort knows where you are because the stench of fear and dread is radiating off you in waves...there's no hiding from the great Lord. And Nagini can detect the tiniest movements, remember.)

"Ompth," choked Lucius as he felt Ginny's knee hit him hard, he crumpled into the feotal position and dropped onto the cold ground, snow freezing certain parts of his bloody, tear eyed Lucius did not see where Ginny had ran off to or where her foot prints had led.

Finally managing to stand up, Lucius turned in a whirl of dark green robes and cloaks and vanished (think of the Order of the Phoenix film, you know the big fight between Death Nibblers and Order Members) reappearing on top of a mosselium behind a large steeple, his view of below was perfect, his eyes fell on Narcissa and on Bellatrix.

Ducking down Lucius ensured he could not be seen from way up high.

If i were a team player i'd direct everyone around this grave yard until they were all in a big circle where i could .... bad thoughts Lucius bad thoughts, he thought to himself

Lord Voldemort disapparated and apparated right behind Lucius. "The Dark Lord sees all," he whispered, and laughed when Lucius jumped and whirled around.

"Every stinking thought in your worthless little head...you know I keep you around just for the steady supply of gold. Come to think of it, where's this week's stash? I was expecting 500 galleons. I've now raised it to 1,000. Bring it to me in three days."

Lord Voldemort sneered and disapparated away from Lucius, a grimace of disgust marring his otherwise beautiful face.

He swished his wand and he seemed to simply melt away until he was invisible...then he stalked beneath the tree where Ginny hid. "Time to play, ugly little girl," he rasped, and then pointed his wand at the place where a lot of fear and dread congregated in a tight little ball. Her thoughts practically jumped out at him. "Harry's not here to save you today, hmm? The stupid boy doesn't love you...CRUCIO!"

"I hear screams!", Narcissa said with a glimmer of glee in her eyes. Mabey it was her husband who found that filthy little girl. She then turned and faced her sister and saw her laughing uncontrollably.
Where was Lucius anyway?

Still shaking slightly from his rather unpleasant encounter with the Dark Lord, Lucius returned to his spying, his eyes fell on his wife down below and smirked knowing she could not see him.

the screams of the filthy blood traitor filled his ears with glee as his eyes shifted to the Dark Lord and the tree which appeared to be shaking and screaming.

Pointing his wand carefully Lucius muttered a small spell to get this game under way once and for all.

"Confingo" he muttered, his wand aimed at the base of the tree. The spell shot from his wand, hit the tree and exploded. smiling to himself, Lucius watched as the tree began to fall.

"What was that?", Narcissa gasped. She turned around to see the remains of a tree. But whoever it was, they didn't stick around for long! Then there was a tap on her shoulder.

(Ginny Weasley)

Ginny's throat was hoarse and sore and with every breath she took, it felt as if tiny daggers were digging into it... it and every other part of her body. Suddenly, she felt a shudder that surprisingly didn't come from herself, and she began to fall. At the same moment that she began to fall, the incessant daggers stopped... what? The pain had stopped.. but why?! Ginny didn't even consider for a moment that Voldemort had showed mercy. What had happened?

It was then that she noticed she was in free-fall. What had happened to the tree? She moved her neck to look down, and winced as it ached. That must have been an after-effect of the Cruciatus curse. Ginny's eyes widened at the sight. The tree had been completely destroyed! All that there was now was a pile of splinters! ... And she was almost right on top of them. Ginny waved her wand and said, “Cuscino (cushion),” thankful for the Muffliato spell she had cast earlier.

Ginny’s fall was stopped by the Cushioning Charm and for a few moments, she just sat there on the large pile of splinters, though she knew that it was highly dangerous and not recommendable. She just… just had to rest… that curse now caused aches and pains throughout her whole body, though it wasn’t as bad as it could have been, thank Merlin. ‘At least it was only for a few seconds,’ Ginny thought. Then, she instantly remembered that Voldemort and the other Death Eaters were probably already looking for her, and Voldemort had probably already found her. Ginny rested her hand on the cushion, meaning to push herself up and to run again, but fear struck her down.

She was frozen, absolutely frozen in fear, and for a moment, she wasn’t sure why. Why now, why not when she had been faced with Bellatrix Lestrange? But whether Ginny liked it or not (she definitely didn’t), she was now in quite the predicament. She slowly took in a deep breath, telling herself, ‘Calm down calm down calm down!!!’ She needed to think… to think of something calming… Ginny took in a breath and was suddenly reminded of her Mum’s famous gingerbread.

There had been that time last year, when she had come running into the Burrow, after playing in snow that smelled just like this: fresh, clean, pure. And there, resting on the kitchen counter was a fresh-baked loaf of gingerbread. Ginny smiled, remembering that time during the Winter Holidays. With that semi-calming thought in her mind, Ginny got up and frowned, wondering where she could hide. She needed a hiding place and she needed one now. Ginny raised her wand and bit her lip.

She wasn’t that far from her room… not really… She hoped this would work! “Accio broomstick,” she whispered and remained as still as possible, hoping against hope that maybe, just maybe, it would come…? Ginny remained as still as possible, and then she heard a whooshing noise. Could it be??? Ginny turned to look behind her and grinned in happiness.

There it was! Her beloved broomstick! Catching the broom in her hand, Ginny quickly Disillusioned it and climbed on. She kicked off and was instantly shot up into the air, herself and her broom almost indistinguishable from the cloudy sky.

(lucius Malfoy)

Lucius ducked back behind the steeple, his mind racing with accusations on who was really to blame for the blood traitors accidental freedom.

Counting to five, Lucius sank to the cold hard rooftop and opened an eye, his path was clear, no one else was up here, thank merlin he thought. His mind raced to the Dark Lord and his impending temper tantrum stupid black family, always causing Master's plans to fail, he thought to himself, believing his own words.

Scrambling to his knee's Luciu turned himself round and took another glance dow at the carnage below, nodding softly to himself he realised that no-one would be abe to tell where the spell had come from, the Dark Lord had been to busy concentrating on the girl, his wife and sister in law were too busy being women.

Relaxing a little Lucius snapped his wand clean in half before discarding it hurriedly. Now no-one would ever know who had cast that spell. Delving deep into his robe pockets, Lucius retrieved a second wand.

thank Hades i had ollivander make me a spare he thought and then suddenly returned his mind onto casting blame and suspicion on to the two women below.

The Dark Lord frowned when a spell hit the tree. Perhaps that was a good thing...the little blood traitor would be right at his feet. But suddenly he sensed the fear and dread lessening...the girl was thinking of...gingerbread?! THAT was what she used to counter pain?

And then she flew off into the air! The Dark Lord angrily shot a lassoing spell after her, but it missed by a quarter of an inch. He screamed, long and loud.

"CAN YOU DO NOTHING RIGHT?" he screeched. "YOU'LL PAY, ALL OF YOU, FOR LETTING THAT FILTHY TRAITOR ESCAPE!"
