| House cup Championship:
As the race for the end of term and the Hogwarts Experiences second birthday hots up, the end of term House Cup race looks to be getting exciting!
Running close together and hitting each other with sticks, curses, hexes and jinxes is Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw with a mere few hundred points between the two houses, no one can be sure just who will come out on top.
Bringing up the rear in the close run race is Gryffindor and Slytherin, will those Lion’s roar supreme and have the last laugh or will the slippery Snakes gain pace and rush to the finish line and steal that cup?
Back in Term One of H.E, Gryffindor raced home to victory and became the first ever house to win the cup followed, quickly by Slytherin who stole the 5 month lead from Hufflepuff to become the winners of our second Term.
So who shall be victorious? Can Hufflepuff finally hold off all competition and claim what is rightfully theirs? This reporter is praying to Athena that they do!
Lets take a quick look at what could be the turning point for our four houses and their chances of winning of the house cup. Points still to added include those earned from the School’s Out Event:
HufflePUFF: 62550 Slytherin: 41977 Gryffindor: 21502 Ravenclaw: 42388
Current House Points as of 3/12/07
SLYTHERIN - 10675 GRYFFINDOR - 10752 RAVENCLAW - 13067 HUFFLEPUFF - 15351
So, let’s add the School’s Out points to our current house points and take a look at the table:
Hufflepuff: 77901 Slytherin: 52652 Gryffindor: 32254 Ravenclaw: 55455
Gosh, I do love Hufflepuff! *huggles her huffies* *quickly throws them all into detention and composes herself*
Well, as you can all see, there is dramatic difference in the house points for Slytherin, who were in fourth place and now appear to be in 3rd, well done Slytherin you’re all working hard!
Of course, the race isn’t over, and the tables can turn just as quick as they have done in the past, so come on Hufflepuff, I mean all four houses, let us not become sloppy, let us march and fight and race towards that finish line!
Of course there is still the Quidditch points, and Talent X and the Gringotts points as well, *breathes* so i estimate that HUFFLEPUFF will hold onto their lead and romp home victorius with Slytherin following closely - but not close enough - in second and i am undecided between the 3rd and 4th i have a sneaky feeing Gryffindor may pull their socks up and steal 3rd place from those sleeping Ravenclaws but who knows!
Good luck everyone!
*starts polishing the shelf above the common room fire place for the house cup to sit proudly*

| Ettie Skeeter Article complete....i think, i have like two and i seemed to prefer this one lol.
Ettie Skeeter: Breaking News.
I, Ettie Skeeter, bring you this breaking news story. Live from the grounds of the Hogwarts Experience, I can reveal that war has broken out! And it is not the Slytherins attempting to take over the school! It’s RAVENCLAW!
In the early hours of this morning, a small argument between houses erupted into a full scale war! I just happened to be on site when I spotted the ever so peaceful Hufflepuffs attempting to carve their house name on every trophy in the awards forum!
Ravenclaw house were awoken by those pesky Badgers when Hufflepuffs Quidditch Team Captain DancingSunset began shouting orders to her team for them to disable the breaks from the Ravenclaw team’s broomsticks.
Aroused by the noise, Ravenclaw leapt into action, waking the whole castle with their curses and jinxes. As Gryffindor and Slytherin houses raced to the top most tower where the Raveclaws and Hufflepuffs were having a furious stand off, one small first year Ravenclaw accidentally cursed Slytherin’s Head of House. Angry Slytherin’s soon sent stunning spells showering down on the small Ravenclaw, rendering her well and truly out for the count, Calm Gryffindors attempted to make peace with the fighting houses only to find themselves stunned by the Ravenclaws!
Soon, staff and house members were drawing lines, and Ravenclaw found themselves outnumbered. But not for long. Breaking free from the tower, they fled down into the grounds and into the forest where they summoned all creatures to join their course.
Now, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Slytherin are protecting the school, the Heads of Houses are naturally sitting in the staff room having a cup of coffee and sending orders to their houses from the safety of their special room.
Ravenclaw refuse to back down and have summoned Dementors and Giants to the battle field! This war is hotting up and Merlin only knows what will happen when Headmistress Elfie awakens from her enchanted sleep, a gift from the Hufflepuff Heads of House to enable their boss a good night’s sleep, a sneaky trick I dare say!
Who will be victorious? Will Ravenclaw claim Hogwarts for themselves or will Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Slytherin rain supreme. Watch this space for updates!
Let me know what you all think before i send it to Amy. And i have editted my first post the one for the battle of the house cups, to include the updated scores. I won't be canging them again since we're only 2 weeks from DeadLine and im sending it off to AMy now

| *scartches head* im so going to forget the rest of this. Ettie Skeeter: Knockng on the gates of Hell. I, your fearless reporter and lifelong idiot have found myself standing in fron tof the agtes to hell, not the actually hell you see, but a place just as frightening. I am outside the home of the Malfoys. My heart is evasive as i trudge up the long driveway, covered in inch thick mud and large puddles from the recent down pours. I can see it in your faces now that you wonder why i am here, why i ahve risked myown pretty neck to come and see these madmen and woman. well.... I have a secret which im going to show to the world. Ladies and Gentlemen i give you, Mrs Luciua Malfoy (formally Mr Lucius Malfoy) Yes that is right, Lucius is, as i write, at this moment frolicing about his large home with one of Narcissa Malfoy's bikinis on. When i came to learn this terrible secret i had found him wearig nothing more then a sequinned dress and some makeup, look i have a picture to prove it! | |

| Editor’s Babble.
Hola everyone! *removes Santa hat and halo*
Welcome to a jam packed edition of the H.E Pensieve, as usual chaos has ruled the news desk as war broke out amongst certain house members, those unnamed - June, Polly, Aliza and Stephy, members of staff appear to be desperately upset at the constant partying of my fellow Huffies. Which, if you think about it, is rather amusing, we three Huffies dominate the office, and I don’t just mean that we moved out beds into the news room, we moved the whole house.
So, Christmas is over and H.E is about to embark on its 2nd Birthday, my how it’s grown! And to celebrate, I joined fellow staff members for a small knees up in the prof’s lounge, only to discover that my lovely new dress, a gift from the hubby, had ripped all the way up from my foot to thigh, naturally we didn’t have a wand in sight, Elfie’s new rules, no wands in the lounge when we’re partying, which means all the time, not that us Profs always party, it just appears that way.
Anyways! That’s my babble and this was your editor.
Until next time, consider this, When it rains, why don't sheep shrink?
*Runs off with the petty cash box and the site safe from Elfie’s Office and the Purple Hippo in a tutu.*

| HE interview of ALL time: Sharon and Amy: Secrets revealed! It was on a cold wet day that I met up with the Headmistress and Deputy Headmistress of the Hogwarts Experience. We exchanged fond greetings and some minor name calling, before settling into a small café which Sharon had emptied with one evil look at the customers. A mobile phone begins to ring and Sharon sighs, Amy rolls her eyes as the, oh so wise one answers her call. I shall not go into details about the phone call, but let’s just say Mick appears to be handcuffed to the kitchen sink and baby Aimee has his wand, and the key. Happily sipping on our Mochas I got down to business once Sharon had accidentally on purpose dropped her phone into a large glass of water. Etta: Sharon, the site is now 2, almost, so is it true, that you’ve been kidnapping members from other rather large sites? Amy, same question to you, I KNOW what you’re really doing in France! Sharon: Well, we did send the HE mascot - the purple hippo - out on a rampage around other sites, but once they found out her peanut weakness, well let’s just say, we had to send out a search party to retrieve her and she came back with no new members!! Luckily our members still found us and they just kept coming which is great! Two years ago I could have never dreamed that HE would have nearly 2000 members - all of which are valuable and loved! The site could not be what it is without them all! Amy: *shifty eyes* How did you find out? Nah, no kidnapping here. Though if you'd asked about hippo-napping... (For those readers who have been living in caves since the start of December, Ravenclaw Head of House, Kate, performed the imperious curse on Slytherin’s very own Ame, forced her to kidnap the beloved Purple hippo and hold her hostage, alas, Ame and Kate are now safely locked away in the Prof’s lounge until the purple hippo forgives them) Etta: Serious question now, there has been an increase in site security when concerning the younger members, do you feel that we all, as members and staff, need to be even more alert as the site continues to grow? Sharon: It is unfortunate that something as well loved like the internet and harry potter brings up an issue of security among all members, specially those who are younger, but as we know, these things do happen and we try to advise members the best we can in noticing and identifying anything which does not seem 'right' in any way. I and Amy do regular checks and we entrust not only our moderators, but also members of the site to report anything which seems wrong and then we deal with it as quickly as possible. As the site becomes bigger, we have naturally become more alert and hope all members would do the same *points to notice board and entrance hall forum for a helpful guide to safety* Amy: Absolutely. You hear horror stories all the time about things that have happened on the internet, and it's scary. As an admin of a site that has members ranging from thirteen to thirty plus, I think it's important to look at safety measures for everyone. Etta: Sharon, congratulation’s on the birth of Aimee….Now, be honest, were you really away on Maternity leave or, are the rumours true, have you been touring the world with teen pop starlet Hannah Montana as a backing dancer? We DO have the proof, somewhere! Sharon: Firstly, thank you and thank you to everyone for your congratulations and support through my pregnancy and miracle babies birth. It means a lot to have everyone’s support and well wishes. Secondly, unfortunately I still haven’t managed to loose all my baby weight yet as Aimee is only 8 weeks old, so Hannah Montana passed me over for another person to do some backing dancing – I’ve heard that it could be our lovely Etta - do you know whether that may be true?!?!! Etta: Amy, your dislike of Snape is evident for the world to see, so how come you felt pity for him recently? I have the proof for you if you wish to examine it. *Sharon would like to ask that this proof is shown to the world of HE as she knew that she would get Amy on Snapes side one way or another* Amy: Well, I'm not a monster... I dislike canon Snape, yes, but if he's written well in a fanfiction then I'm not averse to extending a little pity to him. ( All proof can be found here: http://www.hogwartsquill.com/reviews.php?type=ST&item=133 ) Etta: Why do you think the site is so popular? Sharon: I would like to think that it is due to the lovely atmosphere that each and every member creates. I believe that the members have become very close and welcoming to all new members and that the site provides a safe and fun escape from the real world. I also like to think that it could be due to the fact that HE tries to incorporate as much as possible on a site, not just focusing on one thing like many sites do. Amy: I think it's because we combine pretty much everything you'd want from a Harry Potter forum in one: discussion of the books and films, off-topic chat, graphics, fanfic, RPG, events and games, challenges, classes...you get the idea! Etta: A change in staff has occurred recently, do you feel that the new members and the current members are doing their jobs to the standard you expect? Sharon: As with all types of sites, corporations, and such like, we aim to provide the best 'services' when it comes to our staff and I hope that members believe that we are providing just that. Occasionally we need to change the staff around as real life takes a step higher in importance, but all members of staff; past and present are appreciated for all their hard work on H.E. Amy: All we can expect from anyone is the best they can do with the time available to them. I think all the staff members and professors are doing great jobs! Etta: What makes running a site like H.E enjoyable? Sharon: Meeting all the wonderful members and knowing that perhaps we are able to provide somewhere, even in cyber space, that people can come to relax and have fun with being themselves. Amy: The people! Seriously, I don't think we could have a better bunch of people, both staff and regular members. Knowing that the hard work we put into running the site will be appreciated by the members is definitely one of the things that makes it enjoyable. Etta: Have you a secret plans, I know you have, for the new term? Sharon: Now that would be telling!! I will say this, though, as many members would have realised now, HE is forever changing and growing to suit the wants and needs of our members so watch this space for future changes. Amy: There are a few ideas in the making Etta: Which, if any, of the houses do you think have kept you entertained since the beginning of the site? Sharon: Each of the four houses have brought individuality to the site, and with the full mix of great members within each house, there have been many wonderful moments from all of the houses. Amy: I'm going to be biased and say Gryffindor. All of my Gryffindors are amazing! Events like Battle of the Bands and Family Fortunes when we worked together as a house were great. (I’d like to point out that Gryffindor did not win the BotB, Hufflepuff did.) Etta: Amy, how do you feel about knowing Lucius Malfoy is your birth father? Were you disgusted when he gave you a lap dance? Sharon, what are your opinions on Amy’s true father and his, um, connections? Amy: Um...I can't really think what to say to this question *runs away, traumatised* Sharon: I shall refrain from commenting upon this revelation Etta: Finally, can I have a pay rise? Amy: Of course not, if we gave you a pay rise, we'd have to give one to everyone else as well! *secretly deposits 5,000 Galleons to Etta's Gringotts account* Sharon: If you would like to step into the purple hippo’s office, I’m sure that he and you can talk about a rise in peanuts And with that said, I hug our headmistresses goodbye, collect my order of 72 mochas, 14 lattes and 2 hot chocolates and 88 muffins and then I run, as fast as I can, because I haven’t paid my share of the bill. | |

| Ettie Skeeter appears to have taken a rather extended vacation to Mars and has there for asked to be replaced with the following: (okay so my brain is empty when it comes to Ettie Skeeter)
Featured CD:
1 Badger = Poor, 2 Badgers = nothing to shout about, 3 Badgers = Good, 4 Badgers = Excellent and 5 Badgers = MUST HAVE CD
Hello and welcome to the first, and hopefully not the last, Featured CD!
I am your host, Ettie, and I’ll be taking through an intense review of a new album which has either just hit the stores near you or is about to explode in the coming weeks.
So, who just have I picked as my first victim?
SIMPLE PLAN! With their third album, named…. Simple plan.
First off I have to say, the album name… Well, I do prefer the names of the first two albums, No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls and Still Not Getting. So to release the third album for their eagerly awaiting fans and call it Simple Plan, well it frightens me.
I’m frightened for 2 reasons, one i get the feeling of a huge change, a new beginning kinda thing and secondly I recently saw an interview in one my all time favourite Magazines, and was shocked to learn that Simple Plan were going Mainstream, they want success (and they deserve it) but just what exactly would these guys do to get that success?
In the words of Kerrang “Release a sugary radio friendly CD”
Well….I disagree with Kerrang, especially since I’m bouncing in my seat as I write this!
So, just before I get into the songs on the CD (you can listen to the album on MTV’s THE LEAK, that’s both UK and USA) I’ll just let you know that these lovely *swoons* boys are from Montreal, Canada, have released two other albums which rocked my Badger socks, and for the new album worked with the guy who produced Evanescence and some other dude who I’ve forgotten all about, but he does like hip hop music etc.
RIGHT!
LETS DO THIS!
*track One*
AH HA! The new single, WHEN I'M GONE.
This has got to be, pure Simple Plan, a bouncy anthem (which by the way, WELL DONE to those little moshers at the boys’ acoustic Camden gig, never has anyone seen a mosh pit to an acoustic set until now, so again WELL DONE!) which is just as catchy as Shut Up and makes you want to play it down the phone to your ex *grabs phone* I think you all should get over to YouTube and watch the video for this song, it freaking rocks and is soooo funny, Perez Hilton stars! I give this song … 5 outta 5!
*track two*
TAKE MY HAND
Ohhh, very catchy, I like the guitar at the start, the, hey hey’s remind me of another song, but I don’t know which one, hmm, eek, sounds like Pierre the lead vocalist is shouting the first verse, yet it somehow works. I actually feel like dancing! Haha. As the second verse kicks in I realise that I like this song much more then When I’m Gone, the drums and guitars seriously rock on this track, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was to be a single, again 5 outta 5
*track three*
*is distracted as my kitten Dolce tries to eat the mouse*
THE END
Oh, very techno to start… Hmm, doesn’t sound like Pierre singing, but I’ve checked, it is, lol, Chorus, MUCH BETTER, seriously, lets all mosh to this bit! Second verse sounds like the first, but I reminded of the Lostprophets’s song Burn Burn, anyway, I think for this song, the only thing I actually like is the chorus where we can all bounce too it, so 3 outta 5.
*track four*
LOVE IS A LIE
I have heard this is to be the second single, and I can see why. VERY RADIO FRIENDLY. But I like it. HA! I normally don’t like the stuff that gets played on the radio, again another song which you can so play to your boyfriend or girlfriend when you found out they’ve cheated. Very catchy again, WOW nice guitar solo, very nice in deed, props to the lead guitarist, Jeff, cool song, 5 outta 5!
*track five*
SAVE YOU.
Ah, the ballad, a song written from the heart, I love this song, I actually know the story behind it as well (Head over to Pierre's Myspace page if you don't know yet and click on the blog entitled SAVE YOU), so, if there is someone you love who is suffering and you can’t help them in anyway, well, this is the song which you will relate to. Amazingly brilliant, anyone who dislikes this song will get a big fat kick in the rear from me, everyone should relate to this song, this is a MUST LISTEN TO song. 5 outta 5 and much love and muffins to Pierre’s brother Jay!
*track six*
GENERATION
Is that trumpets I hear? Oh hip hop sound *does some booty shaking*. Ah, a TEEN ANTHEM! Nice, Simple Plan has Teen Anthems on their two previous CD’s and I’m over the moon to hear this on here, again catchy, but that’s just Simple Plan’s style, again I’m bouncing in my seat! The hip hop style really works well on this song, if you haven’t heard Shut Up from their previous album, you should listen to that if you like this. 5 outta 5.
*track seven*
TIME TO SAY GOODBYE
Now, don’t let the title fool you into thinking this is another ballad. Because it’s not, but it does sound like a break up song. Very mosh friendly, hmm, reminds me of some of their other work as well. On three now, 1, 2, 3 MOSHHHHHHHHHHH *starts moshing with Dolce* Right well, *clears throat and behaves* excellent song, so far I don’t envy the record company their job of choosing which songs are to be released as singles, this album is, as everyone keeps saying, radio friendly, but I think this is song very much like others from the previous albums, anyways, 5 outta 5!
*track eight*
*wonders if she’ll find a song she hates*
I CAN WAIT FOREVER
Oh, very Plain White T’s … seriously, as soon as the song start, that’s what I think, Plain White T’s. Not as bouncy as the rest of the tracks, and it’s a very lovey dovey song. Sickly sweet yet oh so romantic, *is jealous* how come no one writes songs about me? JOKE! Okay, so, this song, is like a “you’ve gone for a bit but I love you like a million times over so I’m just gonna wait for you to come home and be heart sick until then.” OH OH OH OH OH guitar solo, VERY SLASH in November Rain. *sends Jeff some cookies and muffins* I can’t remember there being any or many guitar solos on Simple Plan’s previous CDs. 4 outta 5.
*track nine*
HOLDING ON.
Nice intro. Ah, that’s a shame, I was gonna say MOSH again, but, after the guitars, just when the drums sorta kick in, its like a little let down. Nice to hear Chuck the drummer doing some “back up vocals” actually its more “talk/rapping” reminds me of Ant and Dec, meh only English kids will know what I mean by that. *scratches head* I just tuned out. Ah well, there had to be atleast one song which didn’t sit well with me….Wait…. THE END IS GOOD. But I’m sorry, if the only part of your song that is good is the end, then you need a good shaking! *had to re-write that sentence due to dirty mind* 2 outta 5
*track ten*
NO LOVE
Ah. I KNEW IT! *my song* Seriously, I could write the rest of Echoes of a Lost Child (I know I’m plugging my work) with this one song. Good god I feel like I’m looking into my past with this song and well, I’m not saying too much but this song is amazingly brilliant, my favourite so far, 100 outta 5
*track eleven*
WHAT IF
Wow. That just about sums this up. Okay, so, a deceiving start, but honestly it works. Yup here we go kids, MOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven’t really got much to say about this song, except its very good, I think I’d like to just reiterate my point that I am sooooo happy I am not Simple Plan’s record label. 5 outta 5.
Overall:
Well, what can I say? I found a song I disliked, and now I must go forth and write a long letter to Kerrang magazine for dishing this album. It rocks. Even if you disliked Simple Plan’s previous CD’s you’ll find at least 3 tracks on this Album which you WILL like. I strongly recommend you go and buy this CD. Pop Punk is back and going strong and I don’t care what anyone else says, yes Simple Plan took a risk, this CD will either Make or Break them, in my opinion, I say IT WILL MAKE THEM! And as a fan, it’s my opinion, not the stupid magazines that dished these guys, that counts. So everyone join me in sticking two fingers up at *is silenced before she can do some damage*
I give this CD - 5 BADGERS!!!!!!
Big love to you all, my dear little readers, join me next time for another Featured CD! NOW GO BUY THIS CD!!!!!!!! And if you think I should listen to a certain CD, drop me a PM! Make sure the subject is Featured CD, Love to you all. BADGERS ROCK!
