Final Round - Performance - Information

The final round, the performances, will begin on the 10th December. By then you should know what your act is going to be, and have finalised your costumes and campaigns.

Judges, you should continue to support your acts, and remember to make your speeches in the campaigning threads!

The final round - performance - will start tonight.

Each act will have their own thread in which to show off their talent.

When performing, remember the following:

-No matter what your talent, try and RPG it. Be as creative as possible! Describe your surroundings, your feelings at being in front of an audience...everything.
-Remember to show off your costume.

The Boot Camp round will be closed and marked, and if you need to refer back to your practice threads you will find them in the Past Event Posts forum.

Campaigning can continue during this final round...as at the end of the performances, a vote will take place to help decide the winner.

The final round will be scored in two ways.

First, I will score the performance out of 500, broken down in the following way:

Creativity: Mark out of 100
Skill: Mark out of 100
Star Quality: Mark out of 100
Overall Impression: Mark out of 100
Costume: Mark out of 100

Secondly, as the performances come to an end, a poll will be opened up for the audience to vote for their favourite act.

Every one vote you receive in the poll will equal ten points, and the eventual score will be added to your score total. Then we shall see a winner!

The judge for whichever act wins will earn a bonus of 300 points.

Judges, I've thought of something for you to do in this round to earn points!

Your final round task will be a press conference. You will have to field questions from myself, the press, about your acts.

You will be scored out of 300 in the following way:

-Responses to questions - Are your answers relevant?: Mark out of 100
-Eloquence in responses - The press can be vicious, are you able to sidestep awkward questions and protect your acts?: Mark out of 100
-Overall impression - What overall impression do you give during the press conference?: Mark out of 100
