Subject: GRYFFINDOR: Ride the Gryffin! Sun Dec 09 2007, 17:53

Welcome one and all to Ride the Gryffin! This game is simple: Post whether you'd like to ride the gryffin or not, in RP style. If you say 'yes', the Gryffin (aka me) will give you a spectacular ride around Hogwarts, flying you to see landmarks, gorgeous scenery, and other activities for Spirit Week. However, you gamble if you say no... If you say 'no', then you will either 1) Be allowed to walk away unharmed, 2) Get *slightly* damaged by the offended Gryffin, or 3) Anything that the Gryffin happens to come up with at the time, according to her mood. The more you participate in this game, the more points you receive that'll go towards winning the Honorary Gryffindor award!

So step up step up! Trust me, this gryffin's quite tame, and a wonderful fly.

WARNING: Do not ride if you are afraid of heights, gryffins, or if you're pregnant!!! However, you may stand by and observe grin

Dani peered at the lovely Griffin, she'd always thought they were very pretty creatures..."hmm," She said under her breath..."May I ride you?" she said, curtsying in front of the Gryffin.

The gryffin looked down its beak at the girl curtseying before her and smiled. Well... smiled as much as a gryffin can smile, anyway. The gryffin knelt down on her knees and bent her wings, letting Dani know that she could climb on. After all, she'd asked so nicely.

Dani clapped her hands together in happiness and climbed aboard the lovly Gryffin. She wound her fingers into its red feathers ever so gently and got close to its ear... "Such a pretty creature.

The gryffin's eyes sparkled in delight at Dani's words. Yes, gryffins were noble creatures representing the brave and the bold, but a little flattery always got you somewhere with these somewhat-vain creatures. Noticing that the girl was securely placed on her back, the gryffin crouched down, raised the tips of her wings to test the wind, and sprang upwards. The instant her feet left the ground, the gryffin spread her light golden wings and caught the wind. It was cold, winter, but her fur and feathers kept her from the chilly drafts. As she rose higher and higher, the gryffin let out a cry, letting everyone know if her approach. When she reached a steady height, the gryffin began to wheel around, flying around the castle. At the North Tower, the Astronomy Tower, the Gryffindor Tower, and the Ravenclaw Tower, the gryffin slowed her flight and flew around them, accentuating their architecture, among other things.

Afterwards, the gryffin turned right and flew off towards the large lake. She reached the shimmering water and flew lower, admiring her reflection. Suddenly, a whip-like thing shot from the water, breaking the surface and flying towards her. Letting out a screech of surprise, the gryffin pulled away and flew higher. When she had composed herself, the gryffin glared at the Giant Squid's tentacle, ruffled her fur and feathers, and turned, remembering her job.

Sighing, the gryffin flew towards an area of the castle bedecked in green... Slytherin. She gained more altitude, but slowed, as she carried Dani over Slytherin Spirit Week. Stalls of games, especially hangman, crowded the green-covered area and it looked like lots of people were having fun. The gryffin smiled to herself as she flew away from Slytherin Spirit Week and towards a separate area strewn with yellow... prreettyy.... That must be for Hufflepuff!

The gryffin stalled around there for a few minutes, but then realized that she had better be getting back. She was hungry... The gryffin turned and flapped her wings, flying a bit higher, and flew back to Gryffindor Spirit Week, to her post. When she reached it, the gryffin landed safely, albeit a bit jarringly, and smoothly knelt. She folded her wings, letting Dani off. She hoped the Hufflepuff had had a good ride.

Cat gazed in awe at the Gryffin as it returned after giving Dani a ride.

"How was it?" she asked Dani.

Aya Kamiki came to a snowy zone, where a strange kind of "weird thing" alive was, Aya just couldn't imagine that thing was so weird, but even more weird is that she could ride if she wants it, she came next to her (well she could say her, because it looked kinda "female thing") and talked:

- Can I ride you, please? - she asked gently.

Etta rushed over to the Griffin, Dani and Cat.

"Do you think it'll be safe for me to ride it?" she asked them both and pointed at the 12 inch scar on her chest.

Dani gasped the flight was incredible.

"Oh-mi-god Cat I've never experienced anything cooler, You've got to try it!" She said then looking at Etta's wound, "Ettie it was such a smooth ride it feels as if you're hardly moving if it werent for the fact that the wind blew at your face."

I heart Hufflemuffins!! I got goosed! I keep forgetting to post this and then I have to edit my post to put it on!

"Hey Gryffin! How are you this evening? May I pretty, pretty, please be honored enough to ride you?" Cassie asked after hearing many great things about the Gryffin!

Since Aya didn't seem to be getting on, the gryffin nodded slowly and waited for the Gryffindor to climb on.

All the while, the gryffin kept thinking, "Oh that Hufflepuff gryffin rocks my non-existent fliip flops..."

Pamela walked up to the crowd of people wishing to ride the gryffin. She had full intentions of asking for a ride. It sounded like it would be nice. "May I please....er maybe not." Pamela had lost her nerve. She rather hoped the gryffin wouldn't be too offended. She just had a little too much trouble with heights
