A Ravenclaw Christmas Story

This game is similar to Three Word Story, only everyone will get the chance to write one sentence per post. The direction the story takes is up to you! At the end of the month I will post the full story.



Here's the first sentence:


No one could be more surprised than me that Christmas morning to see the weeping ghost standing at the foot of my canopy bed.

"Goodness sakes!" I yelled at the sad creature.

The ghost, racked with sobs, lifted a glowing arm, pointing to my closet door.

Lifting off the covers, I decided I should quietly investigate.

My bare feet touched the cold wood floors relucantly.

I then walked cautiously to the closet.

It was Santa Clause.

((like omg hes real *gasp*))-commentary from the imaginary audience XD

I desperately thought back to my pre-bedtime activities, had I taken anything that could cause such a bizzare hallucination?

Maybe I had accidentally drank Grandma's 'special' batch of eggnog on accident.

Grandma did have a fondness for her "happy juice" as she called, so it was entirely possible.

Though I am pretty sure I would have known if I had drank some.

Grandma's eggnog is not something one could easily forget, of course all this arguing inside my head had yet to make the vision of Santa Claus anymore explainable.

Santa Clause was supposed to be a fictional character.

But I was about to find out that fiction is never far from reality.

Gryffindor Rules

"Get a good look?" Santa asked and I flushed, realizing I had been staring at him the whole time.

You wouldn't think it to look at him, but Santa can be quite the sarcastic wit.

"I...um," I tried to get my words together. "Your real? But...y-you...I mean...What the heck?"

And then, I swear to God, Santa Claus rolled his eyes at me.

"But you can't be real," I spoke still in shock. "If you were why would everyone always say your not."

Obviously Santa wasn't in the mood to answer, because he suddenly grabbed me by my shoulders and threw me into the closet.

I screamed as he threw me in, my mind half wondering why I was being thrown in and partly wondering if I was going to hit my head.

This closet was musty and full of heavy jackets, one of which my head landed on.

(I LOVE DRACO MALFOY!!...curse this goose...)

Suddenly, a bright, shining light was building up behind me, and the next thing I know, I'm lying down on snow!
