| Part 1:
Friendship Potion
Ingredients
- A Pinch of Love
- A Dash of loyalty
- A Smudge of honesty
- And a Sprinkle of respect
When created correctly with the right amount of ingredients; this potion creates a lasting friendship. So much so that it joins whoever drinks it to whoever makes it. This bond is a life long bond and only an anti-friendship potion could ever break this powerful potion.
It takes about 2 yrs to make. To create this friendship potion there has to be a friendship already in bloom. For you can’t just make anyone your friend, only ones that you know will be a good friend. After the 2 yrs are up and your potion has been stirred once every week. Place in a special heart shaped bottle, of course.
This will make the added touch to the potion and give a kind of piazza. After you have placed the potion in the heart shaped vial, it would be a good idea to place it in a well lit place. This will help to give the vial an extra kind of feeling and love. Once this has happened give the vial a nice well planted kiss and a giant hug. Once you have completed these steps your potion is now ready to be given to your friend of your chosen.
Glancing at the reddish liquid, Herby started to smirk. What better Christmas present then a gift of friendship? The vial glows a reddish colour in Herby’s hand. Knowing that this vial was made with love and care and took a long time to make; Herby hoped Rigby would love it.
There of course was no one else that Herby would wish to give a vial of friendship to then her lovely friend Rigby. Why? Cause she is the sweetest person in the world and truly does care for their house. She was always the one around when things got tough and worked it out. She never gave up when things were down and out. She was always a fighter. Knowing right from the start that their HoH match was made in heaven, Herby headed out the door with the vial.
Part 2:
Part 3:
(100 words exact!! Whoot)
“Sorry Rigby, I don’t want to bother you.”
“Oh please. I’m just checking over some Slytherin homework. And lord knows that will take like 5 seconds.”
:: Herby and Rigby started to giggle::
“Anyway, I won’t keep you long but I have something for you.”
::As she said this, Herby held up a glowing bright red heart shaped vial.::
“Oh my!” ::Rigby was for a loss for words.::
“Its a friendship potion, and there is no other friend that I wish to give it to then you.” ::Herby started to blush::
“Thank you so much Herby. Gosh, I love it. Thanks.”

| In honor of the holiday season, for this Potions class we will be brewing a potion to give another student. The potion must be of your own design, the name, effects and ingredients are up to you.
Pt. 1 Describe you potion, ingredients, what it looks like, what it does, the effort it takes to make it, and who you are making it for and why. Descriptions should be at least 350 words. 40 pts.
Love Potion Reversal
The user drinks this potion and it acts just like a Love Potion but to the drinker’s great advantage. With a unicorn’s hair, powdered dragon’s claw, phoenix feather, centaur hoof clippings and beetle’s eyes along with some hair from you and the person you wish to like you and then it is a Love Potion that works to your advantage. It only take about one week to make and most of the time it just settling so you can leave for hours on end without having to check on it every ten seconds. With the Love Potion you must have to get a piece of hair or something else like that from the person you want to like you and then once you make the potion you must then sneak it into their food or water when they don’t know about it. Most of the time they might notice you doing one of those few things and then your potion is ruined. The Love Potion Reversal all you have to do it get the boy or girl you want to love you their hair and place it in the potion after you have made it. Once you do that you then drink the potion. That’s it. Then you let the potion do the rest of the work. All you have to worry about is getting the wrong hair or even forgetting to take the potion which you will have to take every five hours. Once you get close to the boy or girl then they will all of a sudden fall in love with you. The potion affects both of you even though only you have to drink it. Once you have taken the first does yourself if you want to you can switch over to the love potion because it wont be as hard to sneak it to him. Just pluck a piece of hair from then, place it in the potion and tell them to drink it but it would be wise to use the Love Potion Reversal first so you know for sure that it is going to work and no one will know about.
Pt. 2 Create a graphic, signature sized, featuring the potion, potion name and name of person you are giving it too. The graphic should have a gift tag feel to it. 40 pts.
Pt. 3 Write a drabble, 100 words plus or minus 10 words, about giving the gift to your intended friend. 20 pts
“Polly!!” Stephy shouted as she ran up to her. “Polly I have a present for you”
“What is it?” Polly asked as she tried to think of what Stephy could of gotten her.
“A Love Potion Reversal” Stephy said as a huge smile appeared on her face.
“What?” Polly asked.
“Its like a Love Potion but more fool proof” Stephy laughed as she handed the bottle to her. “All you have to do now is drink it and the hang around Harry Potter and he’ll fall in love with you” she added as she pointed at Harry who was nearby.

| Part 1: Memory Potion Ingredients: - 1 dragon scale - 3 strands of mermaid hair - half cup of pure water - something you want to remember Materials: - somewhere secluded - a gold cauldron 3ft by 3ft - a silver knife - bronze knife - a branch from an apple tree If brewed correctly over the correct amount of time, the memory potion is a useful potion before an exam or to remember a good event that you do not want to forget. The whole process of making the potion take over the time period of 11 months and 9 days - which is a reason why not a lot of people use it for remembering evernts (they mostly likely will use a pensieve) and more remember facts for exams (since this potion is on a hard level that may be too much for a student). But if brewed correctly, it is very useful. During the time of the first 2 months you have to locate all the ingredients and materials needed. (see lists above) After locating a quiet room and setting up the caludron to a low fire (about skin temperature) pour the pure water aka holy water into it. Remember, holy water does not boil so you don't need to worry about putting any charms on it. During the 3 month, you have to cut up the 3 strands mermaid hair into 3 parts, each, making 9 short strands. Sprinkle them around the water and make sure all of them sink to the bottom on the third week of the month. (remember to use the bronze knife to cut it, not the silver one) During the 4, 5, and 6th month, get the dragon scale and polish it until it shines so bright it is like a lumos spell. Take the branch from an apple tree and on the scale draw the rune symbol for 'man' and the letter M. (the branch sould make a slight imprint on the scale since you polished it so much it'll just make a line of dirt/dust) Use the silver knife and chip the edge of the scale - but remember to save the charded remains of the chipped off parts. On the 6th month, you'll have too put the remains and the scale in the cauldron. The scale goes in the very center (watch it sink) and the remains go around (like the mermaid hair) During the 7 - 11th month you are just to wait and tend the fire. On the 11th month, the potion should turn a slight shade of red (kind of like pink). Just before you pour it in a bottle, you need to write the stuff you need to remember on pieces of parchments and throw it in (watch it sink) and dissolve) if you would like to remember something, take out your memory (like how one will do with a pensieve) and put it in. If you want to put the things after you pour it into a different container, it is okay too, but it may be harder to stuff parchement paper in a bottle. Drink the potion after all the long, hard, and correct brewing, you will remember the stuff you put in, crystal clear. Remember you could put multiple things in the potion to remember more stuff - don't waste all your hard work and only put a few things! Part 2: Part 3: Dragon grinned to herself as she tiptoed across the room. Reaching the bed where Skittle was sleeping she gently put the bottle of pink liquid on the table next to the bed. Tomorrow is the big exam day and she knew that Skittle was scared of forgetting her facts so she had brewed the potion just for her. Just before she left to go back to her own warm bed, she slipped a parchment of facts on the table next to the paper for the instructions. Backing out of the room, she almost bumped into the door and smacked her head on the wall. (104 words) | |
