A cave in the side of a mountain

Shadow shivered, here she was, in the cave she had found not long ago.
I wonder if any one else knows about this place... I hope not in any case... She had run away from Hogwarts. Things were getting out of hand there, as far as her mind was concerned anyway. She cast all the necessary charms around the entrance and plenty more besides that.

With that out of the way, she curled up in the corner and decided to catch up on lost sleep.

"To find Zelda." Shadow said telepathically.

Shadow managed to trace Zelda's scent back to the spot where she had vanished, but then it ended. Shadow sat back on her haunches, puzzling over where Zelda could have gone.

Shadow changed back to human form with some difficulty.
"Yes, she did. The scent trail ends here."

Shadow shook her head, at a loss for something to say.

Hunter vomited at the sight of the transfiguration, he has problems with seeing people transforming.

Shadow glared at Hunter.

Hunter resented looking at Shadows unbearable glare of guilt.

Shadow sensed Hunter's resentment and turned away, trying to think where Zelda could have gone.

Hunter finally had the courage to look into Shadows eyes and asked".Is Zelda bad or something in that area?"

Shadow's ear twitched.
"She apparated, and we don't know where or why."

"It could have been fear..." Suggested Shadow.

"I don't really know how the minds of humans work in that respect." Shadow said, shaking her head.

"I don't know, and I can't contact her mentally..."

"I don't know. I think that she might want to be alone." Shadow replied.

Hunter stood in position to a minutes worth of listening.

Shadow pondered on the problem for a few minutes.

"I'll come with you." Shadow said.

"I'm afraid that neither do I. I can't trace where she teleported, nor her mental patterns." Shadow said, frowning slightly.

"Maybe, I can't think of anywhere else anyway."

Shadow teleported after her.
