A cave in the side of a mountain

Shadow shivered, here she was, in the cave she had found not long ago.
I wonder if any one else knows about this place... I hope not in any case... She had run away from Hogwarts. Things were getting out of hand there, as far as her mind was concerned anyway. She cast all the necessary charms around the entrance and plenty more besides that.

With that out of the way, she curled up in the corner and decided to catch up on lost sleep.

Zelda lay frozen in time and quite unable to move or even think for that matter.

Zelda was still quite lifeless felling.

Zelda apperated with Oddie to the hospital.

Shadow was unsure of what to do. She had sensed other life in that cave, but not a snake. She sat at the entrance to the cave, meaning to warn others that it wasn't safe.

NEW DAY!

Zelda apperated with Shadow and Oddie to the cave in the side of a mountain hoping to get away from the Dementors that where coming there way in the Open Field.

When they landed, Shadow fell, and rolled away, getting slowly to her feet.
"Never again," She said, "I am not apparating ever again."

Zelda looked at the two and than started right at that moment circling the whole mountain side with protective charms and cursed to anyone that walked just inside the circle.. After that she looked at the cave.. a familiar fear arose in her chest.. " I'm not camping in there." She said.

Shadow saw the fear in Zelda's eyes. She cast a shield that cut the cave in half.
"Only something that isn't really there can get through."

"I don't think its still here, I can't smell it anyway."

"It depends on the snake really."

"The stronger the snake, the harder it is to keep the shield in place. I don't really know how strong a basilisk is, so I can't judge whether I can hold it in place for long."

Shadow nodded.
"Hopefully we won't see it anyway."

Zelda nodded in approval ,but was still afraid. She took some wood off of a near by tree and made a fire.. " So Ill fix Dinner if you two put the camp together." Zelda said.

[color=blue}"Okay" Oddie said as she stood up and waved her wand making a tent appear. "Well theres our tent." Oddie said as she walked over to it[/color]

Shadow felt her knees buckle as she fell to the ground. The shield dividing the cave flickered and died as she did.

Shadow coughed, her eyes narrowing.
"Verituserum. Takes over human side, but not demon. Have to control it." She shut her eyes, concentrating hard on keeping the demon side of her at bay.

"No, I have to try and control this." Shadow suppressed a scream. "Wait, in my bag, there is a small bottle called Salent. I need it!"

Shadow quickly took a few drops of the potion. Coughing, she lay down. Her eyes had gone completely grey and emotionless.

Shadow gradually came round, her eyes turning back to their normal violet. Sitting up slowly, she trembled.
"I hate that thing!" She hissed to herself.

"Eradicates all emotion from my system. I have to use that when I can't control the possession on my own. I had to use it a lot when I was younger."

"Not so much. Sometimes it can take me days to recover from it."

"Yes." Shadow tried to stand up, using the wall to help her.

Shadow fell again, but sat up.
"No, I just need to... let the last of the potion work itself out of my system."

Shadow nodded, sighing as she slid down the wall again.

Zelda looked at shadow and almost ran to her ,but Oddie beat her.. She just watched out of the corner of her eye as she put on some soup for supper.. With out them looking at her she pulled off the cheese soup and poured some into a flask for herself.. She than put her pack back on and slipped quietly from the camp site.. She had to get away.

Shadow frowned slightly, watching as Zelda slipped away. She changed into a wolf and slowly made her way out of the cave. Four legs are easier to balance on She thought as she changed.

Zelda apperated away.

Shadow cursed in her mind and struggled back to the cave

Shadow returned to human form with some difficulty.
"She apparated away."

No one would see Zelda for years for she was now in hiding from everyone for fear that the Order would catch her with Oddie and Oddie would be killed.

Shadow changed back into her wolf form and had a good sniff around. Nose to the ground, she left the cave, following Zelda's scent.
