I want to go see this one. I absolutely love the image at the end of all the previews with the creepy face. I don't think it's that creepy, but I am sure that most would. I think it's just...appealing somehow. Almost attractive in an artistic sense.

I remember seeing the trailer for this on Bloody Disgusting about 4 months ago. The thing that struck me about it is that it's basically the plot of The Ring yet again, but with a phone instead. I'll make a safe bet that the original Japanese movie is 10 times scarier. Hollywood has GOT to start coming up with some original ideas !
Anyhoo, I'll more than likely go see it. And the poster DOES look fantastic ! Kudos on that.

OH OH OH OH OH!!!! I saw the Japanese version of this ages ago! :D It's not THAT scary... xD It's like... The Ring and Grudge all mixed up! Only good thing about the American one will probably be Shannyn Sossamon, because she's awesome, but otherwise it'll be all "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!!!" for an hour and half xD But seriously, I think the Japanese versions of The Ring, Grudge, and One Missed Call are waaaaaaaay (or will be) better than the American ones. No offense, but they're simply better :D I'm not hateful, I'm... realistic xD

Really? The Japanese one freaked me out which was a welcome surprise ! :D
At the end of the day, any Japanese horror movie I've watched is a million times better than it's American remake. The Japanese know how to make a horror movie. The British are getting there - The Descent was one of the best British horror movies I've ever seen. One Missed Call 434167

I also recently watched Shrooms which was a complete waste of time. The Irish should avoid making horror movies at all costs - as should Americans.

I've noticed that Spanish horror movies are pretty scary too... and so are French, which is surprising :D I watched "Ils" a few months back, and it was... SCARY!!!!! xD

But YES - Japanese horror movies are the shizzle <3

I love the spanish and japanese horro movies. For some reason the american
ones are always cheesy. They're scary but no so scary that you scream your head off.

Anyway, I didn't like the movie much. It was so dumb! It felt like I was the Ring and the Grudge mixed together. It was boring.

As I said, Japanese versions are better :/ I might not even bother to go watch that one... it's just "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" through the entire movie :D
