Mugglenet Hacked [January 2008]

So, apparently our beloved mugglenet is down because somebody hacked into it on Wednesday night. Rumours are indeed spreading fast; the main one I could find was how the site was replaced with this picture:




How do you guys feel about this? Know any information about the people shouted out at the bottom? What are we going to do without the site?

Haha; sorry I was not sure where to post this. I have like thirty seconds until I need to get off. But, I just wanted to see other's opinions. I am completely surprised. You would think mugglenet had everything backed up and security on the site. But, I guess they did not learn their lesson from back in July. Apparently most everything is deleted; but there is always a way to bring it back (-pokes Emersen- the little "restore" button on your computer may or may not help. Depends on the situation...)

I've edited the picture so the swear words aren't showing.

If the staff of mugglenet are sensible, they'll do regular back-ups of the site...and I imagine they would. So I don't think it's a complete disaster, it just might take them a while to get back up.

It's back up and running.. which is good. I felt so bad for them becaus ei love MuggleNet because they were the ones who really got me into the fandom and I love their podcast so I was really shocked.

Yes, it's back up.
