HORCRUX HUNT HAS BEGUN! Instruction Post

The Horcrux Hunt has started!

If you have not yet signed up to participate in the Horcrux Hunt event, you can still do so whilst the event is ongoing.

The Horcrux Hunt will consist of following a trail of riddles around the site and all its interconnecting sites, which will in turn lead you to the Horcruxes…and whatever may be guarding them.

Each riddle, when solved, will lead to the location of the next. Remember to take note of where you find each riddle, and what it was in the clues that led you there. Without this, you won’t be able to earn your housepoints!

IMPORTANT: All riddles will have the title "Horcrux Hunt Riddle #...". Anything without this title is not a riddle for the Horcrux Hunt.

There are 40 riddles in total, along with seven challenges you must face.

When you reach a challenge, specific information will be given, and you muist pass the challenge to be able to continue searching for riddles.

For each riddle, you can open a thread in the Event Forum in which you can collect clues from myself or Elfie, as well as others who have passed that riddle. By no means are you allowed to give the answers – in the threads, by PM or anywhere else on the site! Please check to see if a post is open in the Event Forum for each riddle before opening one yourself. If cheating is found – the members concerned will be disqualified!

When you have come to the end of the hunt, PM me everything: where you found each riddle, how you solved the clue, plus the "tasks" undertaken to pass each set of riddles.
