Riddle #5

Look at the 7th and 9th lines in particular.

The ninth line gives a big clue. Work out the time it means.

Look at the seventh line and think on the broader sea of things.

hmmm.... I still cant figure it out... I think I kow the time. but the rest is puzzling....

Here I am, and I have no idea xD.

I don't understand it or know where to search... Event as in an event on HE? And what does a sea have to do with the 7th line?

Like... something naval? *headdesks repeatedly*

I wish Amy hadn't gone to bed already.... Rai? Amby? Hints?

You know your problem is that you think too literal. You see sea and does it automatically has to be the word sea specifically?

Something to do with June/July... and the sea... and the 7th and 9th lines.... Gahhhhhhhhh!!!!

The first thing that came to mind was sea monsters xD Yes, I do realize that I read far too much fantasy. Er.... boats, naval things, waves, fish, ships, Pirates of the Caribbean .....

A naval battle? water.... Hmm... closer to the surface... light? Plants, because they are able to undergo photosynthesis because of the light? xD Yes yes, I admit that I'm a failure.

I have an idea... though I don't see how my idea has to do with the sea xD *searches anyway*

*sigh* My idea didn't work out well either...

So..... *goes back and looks at my posts* Er... light? plants? a naval battle? I wonder if it's an event, like an HE event... but it doesn't look like it...

Pirates of the Caribbean! xD But that has nothing to do with Harry Potter....

*coughmoicough* Kate, can you give hints as to what the sea refers to? xD

Okay, here's a hint (at least in my belief its a hint, but the fact that I have not actually found the thread to which the next riddle lies may be due to me being wrong, but I'm 99% sure I am right)

Sea...name somethings that maybe travel by sea, and then think of how those things relate to our site and the rest of the clue.

This battle has caused many to talk about to, it was not one to be ignored, both sides were numerous... though the final outcome could not be denied some sides can never give up...

I think I know.. but I don't understand the 'Sea' and 7th and 9th lines significances... and Ack, my grammar is horrible in the sentence that I just typed.

ETA: Isn't one month after midsummer sometime early August?

June has mentioned a key word.

The month after midsummer is when a battle was won, between two warring sides, hints like cannon balls.

I have an idea... but... I'm not sure where to look. *headdesk* This is driving me insane!

Work out when line nine is referring to, then think of an important date in the HP world.

Perhaps listening to some music might help - Dido perhaps?

Midsummer's around June 21st, the summer solstice... the month after... *insert character's name here*'s birthday?

Think more in terms of big events for the HP books. This is when this "war" came to an end.

Don't forget - try listening to a Dido song.
