Heath Ledger

He is...well was... a great actor. He has always been one of my favorites. Noticed he wasn't on here but thought he deserved a little thread on hear. So what do you all think about him and his movies? (and yes I know that the pic of him as the Joker looks like he is on crack)

I always wanted a chance to meet him, but I guess I never will now

I had never heard of him untill tonight... but he sounds like a great actor.
Its a shame that heas dead.... and they are saying it might have been suicidal! :[

Well, he did break up with his girlfriend a little while ago... he might have been depressed

But this is really sad, really shocking. He was a great actor, but most of my friends are just sad because he was "sooo hott". Hmph. He was talented, and he has a little daughter... this is sad

It is really sad. My friend called me and wall all "Are you sitting down?" I said no. "Sit." So I sit and she says. "Heath Ledger died." I of course thought she was joking and I said something like 'For a minute there I thought you were being serious.' "No he really is dead..." I of course ran to my computer and saw on Yahoo's frontpage that it was true. He was one of my favorite actors.

Oh and some other awesome movies he was in:
-Candy
-Four Feathers
-Casanova
-Brokeback Mountain

I also believe he was in Monster's Ball. Anyways I have always loved watching his moves...sad he is gone.

Woah...I saw this just now on Yahoo...I'm shocked. You don't expect such a young actor to die.

I just read this on TMZ.

I am literally stunned, he is, was, a talented actor and i loved the film sive seen him, it is such a shame and i couldn't help but think, whilst i reading the reports that it was a sick joke, but its not.

I now hope the press respect his family, and allow them to grieve i private.

I think it came as a shock because people didn't expect him to die because of drugs. I know I didn't!

I think, it may have been an accidental overdose, thats my own opinion, i'd rather believe thse who knew him best, his family, and if hey say he was ill with pneumonia then i am more likely to believe that he could of accidentally have taken more sleeping pills then he realised, simply because ive had pneumonia myself, a long time ago, but boy did i think i was the daughter of the Queen of Mars.

I found out yesterday. My friend is a big people.com fan and a Heath fan. She called me litteraly in tears....: (

I adored Heath, 'spec in a Kinght's Tale. I love that movie so much -nods- -points to movie playing currently- He was a brilliant actor who did not follow main stream, which I love about him. He kept turning down roles that would not challenge him, and did not cash in like other actors did on their looks (-points knowingly to Orlando Bloom-)

It's such a shame; there is still so much he could do in his career. It's all everyone at my school was talking about today. And, they are now reporting it looks acidental;which is good. sometimes certain medications just do not mix.


And his daughter!Matilda! (What an adorable name...<3) is merely two. she's just too cute that you have got to feel horible for her...

I hope it was accidental. I really don't want to think he did it on purpose.

It was funny becuz i just finished watching The Patriot and drooling over how good looking he is...

I found out of his death a few hours ago. He was just starting his career too. You know that new batman movie? 'The Dark Kinght?' well, he plays the Joker in it. Boy... does he look creepy.

My heart goes out to his family. This really was shocking to find out. I mean, he was only 28 years old and left behind a 2 year old daughter...

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I find myself attracted to old, married or dead men xD

I'm having a Heath Weekend this weekend - probably the entire week, too! - and I don't know if I should laugh or cry. I've watched 10 Things I Hate About You thousands of times now, and it always makes me laugh! He's so adorable in it, seriously!

And in Casanova. Awesome! xD Can't help but agree with those women, though... he sure is something :D

And even if he didn't exactly have a major role in Lords of Dogtown, he's still amazing in it. Skip :D Muahahaaa! Reminds me a lot of Jack Sparrow xD Seriously!
