Are you giving anything up for lent?

It's pancake day on Tuesday 5th, which means Ash Wednesday on the 6th - the start of lent.

Are you giving up anything for lent?

I'm gonna try not to reach for my art supplies that I use everyday. lol.

Although, Sister Lucy did say I shuold give something of more value, but what else is there?
I hope she wasn't talking about the computer...

I could never give up the computer or internet! I get freaked out if I can't connect or my connection goes dodgy :D

I don't know if I'll give anything up for lent...

Maybe I'll give up sleeping in til midday :D

Everytime I try to give something up, I always end up falling and doing that thing halfway through Lent haha

I think I'll just be extra-nice... my teacher said that counted as much as giving something up... so it's worth a try, right?

Well, I'm thinking of giving up meat...or fasting...hehe I've done it before but haven't decided what to do this year yet xD

I don't think I could give up internet either! or food... I couldn't imagine fasting..

Well, my church does a thirty hour fast on the 22, and 23 of this month. :] I am doing it this year. It raises money for charity.
This year, I am either giving up junk food, or fasting. I think the first one would be better, as this is my first year observing Lent, and so mabey it would be easier XD

I have never heard of pancake day but of coarse I know about ash Wednesday because I'm Catholic. Ever sense I was little my mom made me give up something. For a ew years it was ice cream and then on Easter we would have huge ice cream partyy. This year I think I'm going to givr up chips. Because I love them but their bad for you and are unneccesary.. so chips it is.

Were also not allowed to have meat on Friday's which is fine with me because usually we order pizza that day any way. XD

I'm giving up the same thing as last year which is anything that has more than 3 grams of sugar. It's really hard! You have to always be checking packages! And you can't go over to friends house unless they know cause otherwise chances are there will be more than 3 grams of sugar in the snack!

I said beforeI was going to give up chips.. well it didn't work. lol. I ate chips. But now it doesn't matter because I just got braces and it hurt to eat anything besided yogurt.
