Temple on a mountain top

Two figures appeared at a temple situated on top of a mountain. The temple looked Greek, but it was made of black marble. One figure threw the other onto the ground. Shadow and her 'Father' had come.

"right well you'd better run fast, they're gaining on us" and sure enough they were

Violet ran. "So seeing as your the wise guy. Where are we going?" Violet asked.

"the place were we first meet" he yelled "hurry up" he ran out the door and grabbed Violet and orbed to the riddle house

Violet laned here and Stood up. She started looking for Shadow's father.(if you have no idea what im talking about. violet decided to make ties with him and then turn on him to help yall)

The demon had been loitering in the shadows, having sensed the arrival of a mortal.

"Hello? You in here?"Violet asked around. She had been walking some time and still had not seen the big dummy yet.

"Welcome to my realm, mortal." He said, advancing from the darkness.

"ok, you know who I am, so you can stop the act."Violet said, arms across her chest. "I come to help you get Shadow."

"And yet not so long ago, you were trying to save her. Why the change of destiny?" He asked.

Violet swallowed. "I- we got into an argument over why I should not hurt a girl, who happen to be her friend. i was only doing my job...." Crap, now he would say something about him only doing his job. Nice going Violet thought.

Jamie orbed into the temple beside Violet,

"what the hell?" he whispered to Violet "whats going on here, i thought you'd just find her then bring her back, thats why i didn't come too quickly...."

The demon flexed his hands, all the bones cracking. He was carefully thinking about what Violet had said.

"Jamie, leave me alone. I have turned on you. I followed the prophcy. Now get out of my face."Violet said to him. "It wasnt like I meant to follow it, but I feel better now, knowing I'm not with the two of you." She whispered again.

"Seize him!" the Demon shouted, looking at Jamie. Several smaller demons came forward.

Violet stepped out of the way. "So, about me and making ties adn catching Shadow?"Violet asked.

The demon though for a minute before nodding.
"It follows the prophecy."

Violet gulped. "So thats an yes?"

"it is." The demon affirmed. "To test you, I sense that my daughter is weak. You will bring her to me."

"But, I dont know where she is. If I did, dont you think I would have brought her to show you I wasnt making no jokes?" Violet asked.

The demon waved a hand in the air, conjuring a black pendant on a chain.
"Wear this, and you will be able to teleport between dimensions. She is in her 'home' dimension, Synairn."

Violet gulped. "What about Raven? She-she can hurt me. I cant fight two demons."Violet siad.

"You will be able to subdue her with these." He said, handing her a pair of metal vambraces. "They will stop her from using her magic."

Violet landed with Shadow with her near Shadow's father. "I-I got her." she said.

Shadow pulled herself out of Violet's grip, backing away from her father. Raven had teleported into the shadows of the room, hiding out of sight, soothing Shadow through thoughts.

"Get back here."Violet snapped.

Shadow glared at Violet.
"Shut up."

"You should have listen to me."Violet snapped back

"Human." Shadow spat before turning tail, fleeing.

"B**ch"Violet yelled back

Shadow had fled from the room, looking for the teleportation point.

"Not so fast Shadow."Her father said. Violet raised an eyebrow

Shadow turned to her father, her eyes turning into four red ones. She hovered in the air, a few feet from the ground. Black magic surged from her upturned palms, striking anywhere that they could reach.

Shadow's father held his hand out and hit shadow, throwing against the wall. "Do you think you can beat me, daughter?"He asked, walking towards her.

Shadow picked herself up from the ground, before hurling herself at her father, still throwing magic at him.

He held is hand out stopping Shadow. "Grab her Violet."he said. Violet gulped and walked forward. What has she gotten herslef into.

Shadow back flipped out of the way, but she could sense a power surge coming on.

Violet went to grab Shadow, but she back flipped. "Come on human.Get her."Shadow's father told her. "I cant." Violet siad.

Shadow gritted her teeth, trying to keep the power surge at bay, but it seemed too strong.

"Move out of my way."He father yelled at Violet/

Shadow fled, running as fast as she could. When she thought that she was far enough away, she sat down, back against a wall, holding her head in her hands. The surge was coming, and she wasn't ready.

Violet gulped. What was going to happen?" She kkept thinking.

Various objects began to fly around her as the power surge began to take its hold on Shadow. The demon turned to Violet.
"Get her now, while she is weakened."

Violet walked forward adn grabbed Shadow. "What now?"She asked

"Put these on her." He said, passing her another pair of vambraces.

Violet grabbed them and put them on Shadow's hands. "Why am I doing this?"She asked.

"It stops the flow of magic." The demon said, advancing towards his daughter

"Wait that wasnt in the description. I was to only catch her not stop her magic."Violet said adn took the things off Shadow.

"It's temporary." The demon growled, "Unless you want her to curse you to oblivion, I wouldn't take them off."

Violet debated rather or not to take them off. "I ca take the chance."She said adn took them off, orbing out of the room, into the room next to them

The demon grabbed his struggling daughter, teleporting after Violet. Dropping Shadow, he strode over to Violet. With one sweep of his hand, he aimed to knock her into the wall.
