Welcome one and all to the first ever HE masquerade ball. If you are not sure what this type of ball is, then please follow the link below;

This event will run over a week and a half and takes place mainly in the java chat room (main chat room) which the link can be found in the floo network. Please see the relevent thread here in the second event forum for the dates and times.

On these specific dates and times you MUST log into chat with your character name only. Those who arnt participating can still enter the chat room in their username.

You must NOT give away your character to anyone

When the time has finished ech day for the ball, do NOT change your name within the chat room. Instead, exit and come back a bit later so not to give away who you are.

You must play your character within chat in these times and dates, chatting and acting as your character would in general and to other characters and members. Dont worry if you can not make them all, come to as many as you can.

What Next?

Once the final date has finished, members, whether you took part or didnt, can send Elfie Dumbledore their list of who they think was who. A list of participans and characters will be posted nearer to the end of the week to help you.

Points

Each member who takes part will recieve up to 500 points depending upon participation and character play

For each correct answer you send to me, you will recieve 50 points

If you get all answers correct, then you recieve an extra 300 points

For each participating member in the ball who manages to keep their identity a secret (ie: no one guesses correctly) and plays their part well and at least three times will recieve up to a further 300 points.
