Transfiguration class suggestions

Part 1

Describe how to turn an inanimate object into an animate object. Include any incantations, wand movements, etc and give a situation in which it can be used in everyday life.

Part 2

Find and describe two occasions where inanimate to animate transfigurations were used effectively in the Harry Potter universe. Say why these two uses were actually beneficial to Harry or any other character.

Is this ok? This was just an idea I came up with while reading the books recently...

we could come up with spells and say want it is used for.
for example:take a cup and turn it into a cat and youd have to come up with the spell and describe what it does

we could say how wizards/witches turn into animals or objects
we could come up with the spell and say what happens or what could happened if it dosent work or something like that

can we have a class on creating the dead into walking zombies? and transfigure them back into people?

Okay simalar to the ones above but still different...

Part One

Explain the reason for transfiguration and why wizards need to use it.

What is the Human to Animal transfiguration called. (where you can only turn into one certain animal of your chosing.)

Come up with an Incantation of how to turn a pig into a couch.

Part Two

Name three spells from the HP books that involve transfiguration::Examples human transfiguration, Animal transfiguration, object transfiguration.

Come up with three Spells for the examples listed above.

What does Mconagall threaten to turn Harry or Ron into in the first book (HPSS)

Who used human transfiguration in the fourth book GoF? (trick question!)

Name two sections in the HP books where Harry, Ron, or Hermionie use transfiguration.

Hope you liked my idea but it's only that an idea

How about to turn someone into an animal

Have the class reserch what diffrent witches or wizards are Animaguses acording to the books

Maybe we could say:
--In what we would like to transfigure
--Why we would like to transfigure in that thing/animal
--How we would transfigure (a spell,potion etc..)
--What we would like to do when we are transfigured,
--Would you do this to: help someone/fun/do something bad?

Note: We could explain with details and could add more questions for bonus (our own questions)

Here's an idea...

Throughout mythology, there are stories of the "gods" transforming themselves into animals/trees/creatures to woo a lady, win a city, etc.

So were these people of myth actually gods? Or simply wizards and witches using simple transfiguration spells. Choose a myth and analyze it, giving the wizarding version.

What is a transfigure process? Do you have to think about the object or what you are changing to?

Poetry! Everybody could write a poem about there favorite transfiguration class and whoevers is the best could get, like 5 house pts or something

essay on why transfiguration is useful perhaps???

What about a class on superheroes? I know this is slightly different to the usual style of class, though superheroes, like spiderman and superman, all transfigure their identity. We could do a class based around their identity change, looking into their background, and perhaps as a bonus - design a new identity for them?

I was thinking that there could be a challenge (like the challenge chamber) only There is one student from each house. But there would be a variety like it wouldn't just be people who are best with doing transfiguration stuff, or just people who know a lot of magical creatures. There would also be a lot of challenges. Maybe 20 challenges per say. The teachers would also decide who is with who (people could ask to be with someone but the teachers would have the final say. I hope you like my idea I will be posting it in several subjects because it would not just consist of DADA or Charms or Transfiguration ect.
