| Priscilla could feel the butterflies in her stomach fluttering round and round, unceasingly. She had tried a few tricks this morning to settle them down, but the closer she got to enter her duel, the more nervous she became. This was her first duel, afterall and although she wasn't an expert, she still knew the basics of how it was carried out. Of course, she only watched from afar between rivaling classmates, but to actually be in on.. and a tournament at that was a daring move on her part.
Taking a deep breath, Priscilla opened the doors of the room in which her duel was located and slid inside. She brushed a strange of her long hair over her shoulder and quickl whipped out her wand, but relaxed when she noticed she was the first to arrive. A part of her actually wanted her opponent not to show up, but how else would she gain experience? She would have to duel someday.
She stood in the middle of the room on the far side away from the door, gazing around at the surroundings. It was a simple room, not much around excpet for a few paintings stung on the walls, pillars, statues, but no furniture. Not that she wanted any, but she could do with a sit until her partner arrived. Instead, however, Priscilla decided to take advantage of this.
"Protego" she muttered. An invisible barrier formed around herself so that will deflect any hexes thrown.
So now all she had to do was wait for her opponent.

| Dragon yawned and munched on her chocolate chip cookies that she bought from a girl scout as she walked towards the dueling rooms. Stuffing the cookie in her mouth in quite an unladylike fashion she glanced over her outfit. She was wearing dragon hide boots and a vest over a dueling shirt accompanied by dragon hide gloves (of course all the dragon related merchandise she had bought came with a ‘no dragons were harmed during the making of this product’ guarantee) With her hair in a tight pony tail she continued her walk towards the battle.Pausing at the door of the dueling room, Dragon muttered a reveling charm over the closed door. :: 顯露陷井:: (reveal traps) she mouthed as a stream of blue light circled the door but stayed the same color: blue. Usually, if there is some kind of trap on the door or within 10 feet, the stream of light will turn red. Dragon glanced at the list posted on the door: Dragon vs. Priscilla. Tapping her chin she slid an invisibility and mute spell on herself :: 沈默 :: (silent) :: 沒看見:: (not seen) while thinking ‘Priscilla. Isn’t that the girl in Ravenclaw?’ muttering to herself she realized she barely even knew the girl except for a few glances here and there. Rolling her eyes she reminded herself to be a bit friendlier and actually meet other people. But that can come later; right now she had a duel to begin. She tapped herself with her wand on the tip of her head and muttered :: 行動像鬼魂:: (move like a ghost) and stepped directly into the door. The spell she had put on herself had a two-minute limit and was very painful and hard to use. Casting it on herself can let her slide into the wall like a ghost – except it was slightly painful since as she slid into the seemly harmless blank white wall next to the door, she could literally feel the wallpaper cutting into her 2 minute ghost like body. Appearing on the other side (of the room, not like she had ‘crossed over’ if you know what that means) she rubbed her arms and checked if her invisibility and mute spells were still on. Yep, it was still there. Glancing around the room she noticed the girl, Pricilla, standing in the middle of a room with a Protego shield around her. Narrowing her eyes at the shield she could see that it was actually quite powerful – a well cast spell…but if she used an even stronger spell, it may be able to blast that shield into pieces. ‘Hmm, what to used…’ she thought to herself. Suddenly she felt a muggle light bulb pop over her head as she remembered something she had read for extra credit before: The Nice Spell – used as a strong blasting spell against shields.:: 糖和香料::(Sugar and Spice) :: 牌子一切好::(Makes everything nice) :: 幫助我, 幫助我::(Help me, help me) :: 小女孩::(Little girl) :: 我看見的盾::(The shield I see) :: 需要離開::(Needs to Leave) :: 請使一切好::(Please Make everything nice)
With her chant silently echoing in her mind, she saw a girl’s shadow suddenly appear in front of Priscilla’s shield and seem to be burning since there were flames all over the girl’s outline. Suddenly with a loud ‘Bang’ the shadow girl exploded and flames splattered all over the shield, narrowing missing Dragon herself. Dragon glanced at the shield and then at the completely burned through rug. If she squinted a bit, the fire seemed to have burned right through the room’s floor and to another level in the building! | Priscilla glanced up from where she was patiently waiting for her oppenent to arrive. She wasn't sure what made her look, but she had a weird feeling that she wasn't alone. Swallowing around the lump in her throat, Priscilla tightly clutched her wand and surveyed the room. She had no clue what to looke for, but she had a strong idea that Dragon, her hufflepuff opponet was already inside the room. A swish from across the room caught her eye and Priscilla snapped her head in that direction. Although, she was at a full disadvantage, she at least had up her wonderfully performed shield barrier.
As she waved her wand to attack, she let out a shril scream as a shadow of girl ignited with blazing flames penetrated her shield barrier. Automatically, Priscilla put out her wand, "REPELLO!" The shadow girl suddenly exploded into a burst of fire, beating hitting against her repelling charm and bouncing back to the other direction. "AGUAMENTI!"the fire was put out in a hiss of smoke, leaving Priscilla on the floor coughing.
She huffed, her nerves gone and a look of determination on her face. If Dragon wanted to play dirty, then it was only fair to hit her at her own game. "I know you're in here!" she said, loud enough for her opponent to hear. Now, Priscilla had never really met Dragon, but she seemed like a nice girl. She had to give the girl credit, she packed a mean game. "Ready or not - MEZCLA" [blend] This enabled Priscilla to blend into he surroundings, much like a chameleon. [i"]HUELLAS"[/i] [footprints] The ground was now able to form footprints on it's surface, giving her visible clues to where Dragon may be. She was still nowhere in sight.
This girl is good. She thought.
"REDUCTO!" Priscilla cried out, out of frusteration. She hoped it was half near whe Dragon was located.

| Dragon was startled when Priscilla casted the footprint revealing spell- that was very advance magic. She stood motionless and pointed her want at her feet :: nessuna traccia :: (no trace) she muttered and in a flash, her footprints were gone. Looking up, she saw that her opponent did not see her footprints before she vanished them, and she breathed a sign of relief to that. She was watched impressed at the girl’s defense against the smokey figure she had sent and carefully constructed an invisible see-through wall around herself with the spell :: parete supplementare :: (extra wall). This girl seems to know her stuff, so she’d need extra protection. Suddenly, without any warning, Priscilla shouted ‘Reducto’ sending the curse right where she was. Dragon ducked to the side and watch the spell graze her right arm – but not affect her at all since she was encased in the wall shield. Her shield simmered and flashed visible before recasing Dragon once more. “Oh darn.” She cursed and quickly ran from her position she was in. That shimmer of her shield totally gave her position away. Standing directly behind the girl, Dragon pointed her wand to the ground below the girl and yelled :: foro nero :: (black hole). With a loud groan, the floor split into a huge gaping hole and the suction began. Anything that was sucked in there will get trapped there- until the duel was over. Dragon felt her shield of wall break apart and without warning it went spiraling in the hole. Quickly pointing her own wand at herself she muttered :: commovente da propri ortografa :: (not affected by own spells), making sure she was safe from the hole she had created. Not waiting to see if Priscilla will actually get sucked in, Dragon began forming her next spell :: :: (bound tight) she yelled and heavy chains flew to her opponent and to wrap tightly around the girl. She felt a pang of guiltiness but dismissed it since she was in duel after all, and she could apologize later anyways. After that, she yelled :: soggiorno ancora :: (stay still) she waved her wand at the chains so it won’t fly off and into the black hold as her shield did. Humming to herself she added the final touch, the Wind’s Call spell: :: venti di sud :: (wind of the south) :: venti del nord:: (winds of the north) :: venti dell'est :: (winds of the east) :: venti dell'ovest :: (winds of the west) :: venuto insieme :: (come together) :: formi un cerchio :: (form a circle) :: più velocemente e più velocemente (faster and faster) :: dovreste andare :: (you should go)
It was actually quite a boring spell to do since the incarnations and all were easy to do and remember, but nevertheless the result she was worth it. Strong winds blew from the four corners of the room and coming together, it swirled faster and faster, forming a hurricane/tornado. Dragon glanced fearfully at the wall, she didn’t want to destroy the building, but when the hurricane (or was it a tornado) touched the walls, nothing happened. Relieved, she was glad of the non-distructable building and the fact she had cast the commovente da propri ortografa :: (not affected by own spells) earlier so that the hurricane (or was it a tornado) breezed passed her calmly. Singing a song from the movie of Oz, Dragon thought about her next step. NOTE: [[spells in Italian]]

| A glint caught Priscilla's eye and she swiftly turned around. It seemed that Dragon must have found a way to block her footprinting spell because she couldn't see any sort of indentation on the floor. This girl held some amazing powers, that was for sure and Priscilla knew she had her work cut out for her. Now was not for games - she would have to give it her all. Turning to where she had found the shimmer, Priscilla raised her wand steady, but didn't fire. She blended into the wall, her back up against it and stood as still as possible.
Dragon couldn't be that naive to stay in the same spot. As she turned around to examine the room, the floor was suddenlt sucked out beneath her.
She screamed from shock, but her breath was suddenlt yanked out of her from the powerful suction of the black hole that had appeared. She quickly raised her wand and shouted,"lento movimiento" (slow motion) this spell slowed up speed, but only for a few moment, it doesn't last long. She took a deep breath, but was suddenly bound by chains, mostly likey sent by her invisible opponent.
As Priscilla started to fall, slowly to the slow slurping vortex, she used what little movement of her hands could do and silently said, "suelo claro" (clear floor) this would place a unbreakable clear flooring above the vortex - hopefully. She cast in just in time too for at that moment her slow motion charm wore off and she was sent to the ground with a sickening thud. Oddly enough, she found she could not move at all. Another wonderful gift from her lovely opponent.
'Ow' she thought as pain flared from her right arm. Something definitely felt broken.
Wind suddenly started blowinf from all sides of the direction and Dragon still seemed unaffected by any of it. Priscilla could feel the pressure of the winds whipping around her as the hurrican in a room grew in fury. She was lucky that she hadn't been blown across the room, although rolling across the room did do it's job and painfully.
'Fine, I know a few spells to.' she thought and cleared her mind, concentrating.
Los vientos tranquilamente se cesan alivie thy mí y el resto en la paz. aguas de Neptuno lave sus sus ondas sobre este cuarto libéreme de estos desgraciados liga y no estréllese donde miento
(Winds calmly cease ease thy self and rest in peace. waters of neptune wash your your waves upon this room free me of these wretched binds and do not crash where I lie)
She resurfaced from her thoughts.
The winds suddenly stopped, but replaced with the rushing of angry water. Protected against her own spell, Priscilla watched as the waters slowly filled up the room as she sat in her bubble trying to figure out a way to make herself mobile.

| "Meep." Dragon yelped when she noticed that her nice dragon hide boots were now wet. Thank merlin it was waterproof. Glancing around the room, she saw that it was quickly filling with water, her lovely hurricane was completely gone. Slightly in panic, she scrambled through her pockets. "Half eaten muffin check, muggle pen check, piece of gum check. Where are you?" she muttered to herself and dug into her pockets once more. "Ah ha." her fingers touch a strand of gillyweed. It was as thin as one strand of hair since she had used the big gob of it last week, but anyways, that'll be enough if she put a spell on it. ::οι εγκαταστάσεις διευρύνουν :: (plant enlarge). With that, the whole plant seem to puff up and instead of a thin strand of gillyweed, it was now the thinkness of her arm. She broke the plant in half and stuffed the extra strands in her pocket once more. Dragon then popped the other half in her mouth and just as the water reached up to her shoulders, the plant took effect and she happily swallowed a mouthful of water. ::στο ύδωρ τώρα :: (in the water now) she mouthed, her voice making a gurgling sound underwater. Pointing her damp wand at her clothes, the spell made them stop sticking to her body and weighing her down. Now, with her water situation taken care of, she turned towards her opponent. During the duel, she had kept hiding behind her shield, or invisibilty, only firing attacking spells now and them, but mostly just hiding. She would have to change that. The duel was getting fierce and Priscilla was getting better. Spinning on the spot like what one would do when apparating, Dragon struck her wand on the ground and muttered ::γιγαντιαίο καλαμάρι accio :: (accio giant squid). A huge whole again opened up in the middle of the room making two things happen. One: the water level went dow about 3 feet. Two: a giahugic squid came flying up an landed smack dab sticking onto the ceiling before gravity took control and plop, the squid landed directly on Dragon. "Get of!" she yelled, not remembering she had the mute charm on herself. Squirimg on the ground, she finally got out from under the squid's heavy tentacles and jammed her wand angrily at the squid. "I told you to come help me with the duel, not squash me to death." she yelled at it, again forgetting that no one could hear her. "Never mind." she muttered and waved her wand in a big X shape. ::Χ σημάδια το σημείο :: (x marks the spot) she yelled and a red x visible to only the squid and her appeared on Priscilla. :: γιγαντιαίο καλαμάρι ελέγχου:: (remote control giant squid) she said and pointed her wand at the squid. A muggle remote appeared in her wand and pocketing her wand, she stepping back and pressed the 'On' button on the control. The squid jerked up and with a touch of the keyboard that had popped up under the remote she typed "Squish the X", telling the squid where exactly she wanted it to go, the opponent. http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr: greek | |
