You will not be marked purely on how long your posts are, yet you will be marked on the following:

* Eye for surroundings
* Defensive and offensive spells (both what spells are used and how well they are used)
* Knowledge of spells
* Eye for detail (both your own posts and others posts)
* Inventiveness and creativeness as a whole

Please avoid one sentence posts. Try to develop your duelling posts into more than one paragraph.

Violet walked in, warry of her surroundings. As quiet as she could, she walked against the wall. Finally, her victim was insight. Smirking, Violet pulled out her wand and got it ready for aim. "Reducto!" Violet shouted. Violet smirked even more when it hit.

I'm interrupting this duel for two reasons:

1. Duelling posts need to be more than one sentence - paragraphs are recommended.
2. It is advised not to use Unforgivable Curses, and you can not control what happens to your opponent.

(sorry, violetriddle, I didn't understand your last post)

Dorothy walked in the room and saw violet standing there. "Here already?" Dorothy said, seemingly lighthearted, but her hand was sliding into her pocket to get out here wand. "Ready?" Dorothy bowed almost mockingly, then in a flash, drew out her wand. "Stupify!"
She then cast a sheild charm around herself, waiting for violet to respond.

Violet blocked the spell. "Reducto!" She said, red light coming out. "Is that the best you can do?" Violet asked, walking around the room. "Levicorpsa!" Violet yelled.

(sorry dont no how to spell it but its where you hang by ur ankles)

As her sheild charm faded away, Dorothy didn't see the Levicorpus spell coming.
"Aaaah!"
Dorothy was hoisted up by her ankles. Her head was pounding with all the blood rushing to her head.
"Wand-" Dorothy grabbed her wand and aimed a spell at Violet, with some difficulty. "Impedimenta! Expelliarmus! Stupify!" Dorothy cried, sending spells by the dozen at her opponent. "How do I get down?" Dorothy thought, then remembered. She muttered "Liberacorpus.", then fell to the floor, crumpling as she made contact with the floor. Immeadiately she stood up, wand at the ready.
