HEBB 2 : Rewards Room (REWARD #6 OPEN)

Amber headed into the rewards room happily. She was glad that she'd been able to go there quite a few times during the game. It was actually something that she enjoyed, being able to do well and then on top of that getting a little something extra. She wondered who else would be there this time and smiled slightly as she saw Gemma in there already.

She walked over to her. "Hey Gemma!" she said cheerfully.

Katie turned a corner and ventured into a part of the house that she hadn't yet visited : the rewards room. She had heard about it's many wonders and knew of the pride it's members had and she always longed to be a part of it. So, with a smile and lots of anticipation, she turned the doorknob and walked inside. It was beautiful. The feild and spa - like setting made Katie feel immediatly relaxed. She couldn't find one doubt in her mind, or anxiety from the game. This was heaven. She saw Amber and Gemma already enjoying the room's many quailties. With a giggle of giddyness Katie took an expensive looking bathing suit of the racks of clothes and changed into it, then walked to the pool and sat down.

Shausto paused outside of the rewards room door, clutching her invitation. Although it was her second time here, she was still nervous, wondering what she would find on the other side of the door. A soft breeze played on her face as she pushed the door open and her face turned up to the blazing sun. However this then spured the question of how on earth was a large meadow filled with huts and services, not to mention its own sun, fit inside HEBB house?

She shrugged and wandered over to the food table, kicking off her shoes on the way to feel the cool grass underneath. There was an enormous selection of deserts, which she went to first of course, causing her feet to ache with the realization of how many miles she would have to run to burn off all the calories. Conveniently putting this out of her mind for the moment, she grabbed a plate of chocolate dipped straberries and turned around to actually take in everything in the 'room'. She noticed Gemma Amber and Katie already in various parts of the room and strolled down to the pool by where Katie was sitting. "Heya Katie.." she said, dipping her toes in the water and holding out her plate of chocolatey goodness. "Want a chocolate covered strawberry? They're delicious!"

Just as Katie was thinking she might want some company, a girl she thought was called Casey came and say next to her. Katie had seen her around and she looked nice enough, but they had never got to talking.

"Want a chocolate covered strawberry? They're delicious!" Casey said.

They did look very appetizing to Katie, so she took Casey's word for it and took one of the plate. "Thanks." she replied before stuffing it in her mouth. She was right. They were delicious.

"So are you enjoying yourself so far?" Katie asked her

Katherine walked into the meadow, wearing jean shorts, and a comfy, yet really cute tee, sunglasses, and flip-flops. The comfiest outfit she owned, for a very relaxing day. She had totally earned this. She had heard so much about this, and it seemed so cool. She couldnt wait for her turn! She worked hard at everything, and now, it was finally her turn! How wonderful! Katherine saw several others were allready there. She quickly said hello, and then went to explore.
What she saw amazed her! A pool, horse riding, tanning, massages, a gym, and a spa! How amazing this was going to be! She satrted to form a mental list of what she wanted to do most. She was going to make this the best ever. That was her goal. But what to do first..... She pondered that for a minuet, and then it hit her. She just had to go to the gym. She liked all the girly stuff, but that seemed like the best. Katherine picked up her purse, puled her hair up, and walked tward the gym.

Streams walked into the rewards room, scowling up a storm. She wasn't upset about anything in particular, but was sick of being cheery for no reason at all. If something unordinarily wonderful would happen, she would smile. If something unordinarily disgusting would happen, she would scowl. Normally, she would have a closed, slightly thoughtful expression on her face. But as she was fed up with all the forced cheeriness, her mouth turned down.

"So. What do we have here?" she bit out, trying to make her tone even and expressionless, but not quite succeeding. "A meadow! In a room!" Her smirk was cynical. She could still see the ceiling, though. The hot air balloon was bumping up against it.

"All dressed up and nowhere to go," she murmured, then lay flat on the warm, sweet-smelling grass, stretching her arms above her head. It was such a...relief, not having to be giddily happy all the time. Being happy - or continuously sad, for that matter - was beyond exhausting. For now, she would just lay back and let her moods dance to the tune of a silent orchestra...

Katie didn't wait for Casey's answer. Instead she dived into the water without creting more than a single ripple. Her long red hair flowing slinetly behind her as she glided underneath the surface of the water to the other side of the pool. The water was so warm her skin seemed to crave more of it, and yet when she came up for a breath of the sweet smelling air, her face wasn't as much as chilled. Thinking what a wonderful place this was, she decided to explore more of it. And with that pretense she pulled herself out of the pool. Noting that it was easier than usual.

Once out of the water Katie realized she didn't have a towel, though she didn't really need one. With a look at her feet however there was a single pink towel that she hadn't noticed just a moment before. Shrugginh, she picke dit up and put it her around her body. Such a soft towel, she had never felt. But she was bored of all this relaxing and wanted to have a little action. So she walked to the changing room and switched from her beautiful bathing suit to a gorgeous sun dress and walked over to the hot air balloon.

Hours had passed, with the soothing sound of Edward's voice enfolding her ears. She could feel his words, they had a texture and color to them lacking in mere mortals. Setting the book of sonnets down, Edward gracefully scooped her up, standing up all in one motion. The sudden movement normally would have alarmed her, but with him she felt safe.

At the very edge of the meadow stood a gleaming black piano, and it was towards this that Edward carried her. Setting her gently on top of the grand piano, he took his place on the piano bench.

Without saying a word he launched into one of her favorite Coldplay songs and she wasn't surprised that he sang exactly like Chris Martin. Rigby had to sit on her hands to keep herself from clapping in delight, but the idiot grin was back on her face. It seemed highly unlikely that it would fade anytime soon.

All of a sudden a light, gentle breeze picked up, carrying white petals and... wait, was that glitter? Yup, glitter. Soon she was covered in sparkle herself, but still only a pale imitation to Edward's diamond brilliance.

Rigby plucked petals out of the air. When she had a dozen's worth she folded them up into her fist and when she uncurled her hand there lay a beautiful white rose. She leaned forward and tucked the rose behind Edward's left ear, causing him to chuckle but not falter on the piano keys. Finishing the song up, Edward removed the white rose from behind his ear, closing his own fist around it. When he opened his hand an amber colored rose lay in his palm.

The rose was the exact color of his eyes, deep and rich. He handed the rose to her, launching into Moses. Rigby laid back on the piano, letting the music and the piano's vibration reach through her, becoming one with the sound. Despite the hard surface she felt as if she was floating. She brought the rose to her lips, still curled into a ridiculously happy smile. No matter what came later in HEBB, she would have had this perfect day. Any suspicions she had harbored against Big Brother were washed away, leaving only one very grateful Rigby.

Katie stared up at the big floating balloon for a long while. At least it seemed like a long while. Who knows how long it really was. She started as she felt a poke on her shoulder. But instead of turning around she merely stared at the balloon and wondered how to get up there. The pretty colors were mesmerizing her. All the patterns and shapes. She found herself standing with her mouth open, almost drooling, but not quite when she was tapped again.

"Excuse me miss." The person talking to her had a voice she did not recongnize but it sounded nice enough. A little raspy, but it sounded esseintally good - natured and that was enough for her. She turned around to meet the person who had been waiting so polietly for her to turn around.

"Who are you!?" She couldn't help herself. The words had already fallen out of her mouth before she realied how rude she was beeing. Quickly, Katie gathered her thoughts and apologized,

"I am so sorry." she said. "I didn't mean to be rude." But the little man cut her of. He had long brown hair that curled towards the end, with an equally spectacular beard. He came to about her belly button and yet he looked her straight in the face. Something that took her aback, and as a reaction Katie stepped back.

" - don't apologize Miss Katie. For I merely wanted to know if you wanted to get in the marvelous balloon." he said. She had never met anybody with such manners and someone who she couldn't help but like from the first word he spoke.

" I would like it very much." she replied, with a little curtsy as the little man lowered the balloon.

As Shausto watched Katie dive into the pool and wander over to the colorful balloons, she debated what to do next. The whole nails and massage thing wasnt really for her. Massages were a bit..disturbing in her mind--who knew what kind of creep your massagist could turn out to be! And nail polish never lasted with her, it was usually covered up with dirt within the hour. The tanning was always appealing, she thought grimly, glancing down at her pale arms. She hadn't been outside in just about forever, and was actually starting to miss the sun. Of course the tanning booth wouldnt be able to replace the sun, but it would make her feel better to have tanned arms when she was locked back up inside the house.

She started walking, but then remembered a story her sister had told her once just to scare her...but it worked. Recalling the story made her shudder, but the thoughts kept coming. The soon-to-be- bride who wanted a perfect tan for her upcoming wedding, so she lied to the tanning salon and got a zillion tanning sessions in a matter of a few days..which literally cooked her from the inside out, resulting in her collapsing on the altar on her wedding day dead.....and with really bad breath.

She knew this was in no way possible, but it freaked her out all the same, and she switched directions mid stride, causing her to somehow trip over something completely invisible and land on the soft grass. Her nose landed on something hard however, causing a strike of pain to shoot through her body. She groaned hoping it wasnt broken, but almost as soon as the thought entered her head, everything stopped hurting. It was as if the room..or someone else.. was reading her mind. Slowly standing again, she reached up and felt her nose, which felt perfect, as it was before she fell. But suspicion took over and she spun wildy on the spot peering into the dark spaces in the nearby forest where she earlier remembered seeing Rigby run off to. This was starting to creep her out, even though she had no idea what she was supposed to be creeped out by anymore. Looking up, she could see the edge of the ceiling, but just barely, and she decided that that was good a place as any to yell her demands. "I know your watching us, creeper!" she yelled, to the apparently empty sky/ceiling. "Youre freaky...STOP READING MY MIND!!" Shausto took a few steps away from the place she fell, then turned back to the sky. "But thank you for the whole nose thing." Smiling sweetly she stepped away and continued on a random stroll to nowhere.

Katie expressed her thanks as the little man grabbed her hand and helped her into the lowered balloon. As she stepped into the woven basket she noticed a very, tall, attractive man standing there, waiting, apparently for her. She thought this was strange because she didn't see a man in the basket for all those minutes she had been staring at it. However, she decided not to worry and to take this new turn of events without question. This was easy to do because the man was so charming. He releived the smaller man of helping her in as soon as one foot was over the edge. His touch was soft, but strong and he seemed just as eager as her, to have an interesting conversation while enjoying the view.

Shausto continued down the path she was walking down before she fell, stumbling on her own two feet as she went since she was trying to peer behind her for stalkers and make sure she didnt trip on anything again at the same time. She tripped down a small hill where the dirt trail wound itself into the distance and spilt into two seperate paths. Here she hesitated, wondering which way to go, when a random scene from a book popped into her mind including a certain heroine named Tally, so she shrugged and chose right. It wasnt her fault if books controlled all of her decisions in life...

As she was glancing over her shoulder at a bush that seemed to be following her, her toe stubbed something hard and metal, which the rest of her body hit not long after. She winced at the pain, checking to make sure no cuts had appeared, knowing in the back of her mind that the creepy stalker would probably have somehow healed them anyway, but she looked all the same. She didnt see any so instead she turned to examine the large object that had so kindly gotten in her way. A large cherry red bicycle with white polkadots just like the one she had always wanted was standing, or rather laying now that she'd knocked it over, directly in front of her, and she grinned wildly and hopped on, knowing that this dangerous device only increased her chances of breaking a bone, which she was pretty prone to do with just her own two feet. Shausto pedaled hard and coasted, feeling the burning sun beat down on her head and the trees rush by her outstretched hand. She peeked behind her to where the stalking bush ended up and noticed a large balloon floating in the 'sky'. She peered up to see Katie and another guy she'd never seen before standing in the basket. Shausto started to wave but realized she was veering off the path and decided she'd better keep looking forward lest she crash into a tree and get a concussion or something.

A sweet, tangy smell drifted on the breeze, tickling the end of Streams nose and nearly making her sneeze. "Lemonade!" she exclaimed, getting up and stretching.

With a small smile, she headed over to the lemonade stand and helped herself to a huge glassful. The lemonade was just right, not too much lemon, sugar or water. Perfect. Sighing, Streams settled herself onto a padded beach chair with her drink and leaned back. When she closed her eyes, the bright light overhead could almost be mistaken for the sun. Almost.

Violet stepped in the space craft and right when her foot touched the floos, she was pushed forward and the door slammed shut. Violet stood up, only to be pushed down again with a force from outside. Finally able to gain balance she looked out the window and saw that she was no longer on earth. Looking in the direction that the space ship was going, she paled. She was going to the moon.

Rigby hit herself, hard, in the head in her rush to open the Rewards Room door.

"Agh!" she cried, placing a hand to her forehead where she knew a knot would be forming soon. Really, Edward had better turn her into one of the immortal, unbreakable, living dead soon. Her insurance didn't cover acts of profound stupidity. Of course, Edward was the reason she was trying to get into the Rewards Room so fast.

Peeking her wounded head into the opening she saw no sign of her beloved blood sucker, but instead there was a spacecraft straight out of Dr. Who, although it's wasn's a TARDIS. The door to the craft opened up and Rigby climbed up, full of trepidition. Planes scared her, but surely space ships were safer?

Boarding the space ship, Rigby kept ahold of her bottom, recently injured in the Box challenge. She knew all about aliens and their probing ways. Fortunately no little green men appeared to prod at her and then dump her in a cornfield when they were through with her. Her heartbeat stopped doing the mambo in her chest.

As she walked the floor in front of her lit up, green for when she was going in the right direction, red for when she strayed. The lights led her to big cushy seat, which she gratefully sank into. Her head was throbbing only slightly now, so she was beginning to feel a sense of excitement building.

Once she settled comfortably in her chair, straps appeared out of no where, securing her in her place. Suddenly Rigby could hear what must be the engines fireing up, and her heart began to race again. The spacecraft jumped in the air, pushing her down in her seat. It hovered for just a moment, and then zoom! It raced off, leaving behind a probable sonic boom.

Rigby felt a pressure on her chest and knew the ship was heading forwards. She tried not to panic, tried to imagine all the wonderful things she would soon be seeing. Gosh, she hoped they weren't going to Mars. She was not a hot planet kind of girl.

A small silver robot appeared just as the air in the cabin began to stabalize. Her harnesses were removed. The robot handed her a menu of inspace food and beverages, and she quickly scanned it, ordering a New York Strip steak and a baked potato. Since there was no Coke on the menu- just as well, really, she was trying to give up sodas- she ordered some water. It was recommended to stay hydrated on airline flights and surely space travel qualified for some of the same rules?

The wall in front of her began to shimmer, alarming Rigby at first. But then it became transparent, showing a breathtaking view of inky black space lit up with the most stars she had ever seen. Biting back her fear, she approached the area where the wall had been, holding out her hands as if to pluck a star from the heavens. Naturally she just ended up jamming her fingers painfully as the wall was still there, just transparent. She stood there oogling the scenery until the robot came back with her food.

Sitting back down to eat, a tray hovered just above her lap holding her food, Rigby saw that the wall was once more just a wall. But not for long. The robot was now handing her a menu of movie choices. Startled, Rigby glanced quickly at her choices.

"Ummm... How about Romeo and Juliet, the Franco Zefferelli version?" The robot made a few chirping noises as if pleased by her answer. The wall in front of her suddenly turned into a movie screen, and the opening credits began to play. Rigby was impressed. How cool was it to be flying into the future, into the unknown space, while watching a story that had transcended time and space? Sighing happily she began to stuff her face full of steak and yummy baked potato, eyes glued to the screen.

Violet was pushed out of the space craft. "Hey, that hurt." She said and rubbed her bottom. Standing up, she was lifted up and down. "Oh my Gosh. I can fly." Violet yelled and jumped up and down. "Oh look, an alien. Can I have a cookie?" She asked the alien. The alien glared at her and threw a moon rock at her. "Oh...that hurt. Oh look the man on the moon. He is real." Violet said, looking at the dead corpse of the man on the moon. "He has a few years on them, I wonder" She said and bent down to get his wallet. "Oh..money. Do you need this? No? Thank you." She said adn pocketed the money. "Bounce bounce bouncey."Violet said, bouncing up and down.

Violet bounced up and down on the bottom of her heels. She had gotten another chance to go the rewards room and she was happy. The moon had not been fun and she couldn’t wait for the new reward. She was told to just come and bring nothing. Violet huffed and walked down the hall to see a piece of paper on a door. Grabbing it, she read that when opening the door, look to your right. She raised her eyebrows but said nothing and walked in. It was beautiful! A beach with golden sand. Shaking her head, she looked to the right and saw her a chair with swim wear in it. “I hope they don’t want me to get dress right here.” Violet said and grabbed the violet pair of bikini shorts and top. “Wow how ironic.” Violet said and found another paper. Look to the ground and kicked the dirt twice to open a door- Violet laughed and kicked the dirt, only to hit something sharp.

“Oww, oww, oww.” Violet said, bouncing up and down, holding her toe. Violet looked back at the paper. Watch how you kick, the knob it hard. ‘Way to go Violet, you should read everything before doing it.’ Her mind told her. “Oh shut it.” Violet said out loud. Violet got onto her knees and brushed away the rest of the dirt. Finally, when the dirt was gone, Violet open the door and fell in, landing on her head. “Oww! Did you hear me whoever is listening. You are trying to kill me before I can get to the water!” Violet yelled, thanking to God Dani wasn’t there to see her fall. Violet jumped up to shut the door but couldn’t reach it. She looked around and saw another piece of paper. Look for the button on the wall and a ladder will come out. Violet pressed the button and saw the ladder. Climbing on it, she closed the door and jumped back in.

Violet took her shirt off and put her top on and then switched her pants to shorts. “You know, violet doesn’t look bad on me.” Violet said, looking in the mirror. Setting her clothes in a pile, she grabbed the room in use sign and climbed on the ladder and open the door. Violet hooked the sign up on the door and walked over to her chair and grabbed it. “I wish Dani was here now, everything wouldn’t feel right without her here,” Violet said and sat in her chair. She saw Gemma and waved at her. “Hi Gemma, nice day isn’t it. I wonder if the others are gonna come” She said. “I’m gonna go swim, want to come?” She asked before running out into the water. “The water here isn’t cold like the one at the pool.” Violet said to herself.
