Ginny walked happily into the party room, in her Anastasia costume. She had hoped that this was what Streams met by costume, because she had spent quite some time hunting down the purple gown. Her hair had taken, if possible, even longer. The red locks were twisted into an up do that hung down over her shoulder, and pinned in it was a blue tiara. Matching blue earrings hung in her ears. The choker around her neck was not blue, but matched the purple of her dress, which was metallic purple, strapless, and fitted asymmetrically from the top of her hip to the bottom. After htat, the skirt puffed out. Around her arm was a mantle, which she looked for a place to discard.

"Streaaaaaaaaams! Where's coat check?!"

"Glass slippers - glass, of all the things," muttered Elana, lifting the hem of her dress to have a look at how her feet were faring so far. The glass slippers she had acquired for her costume were uncomfortable, and her feet were already getting sore just from her walk down from Ravenclaw Tower. But they sure looked pretty, at least...And the rest of the costume wasn't bad, she reasoned. The light blue dress was fitted from the top to her hips, and the skirt billowed out from there to the floor. The slippers were hidden under the multiple skirts that helped it flare out so much, thankfully. She had debated about the elbow length white gloves, but had decided to keep them on for now. And, after an hour or so of hair straightening she had gotten her usually unruly curly locks up into a smooth bun, popped on a pair of costume "diamond" earrings and matching necklace, and was ready for the party. Walking into the party room, she spotted Ginny yelling something about a coat check. Laughing, Elana came up to her and gave her a hug from behind.

"You look beautiful!" she exclaimed. "And the coat check...well, I can't help you there, hehe. Just keep it with you, it's so pretty!"

Clothes lay sprawled on the large bed in her private room as Etta paced backwards and forwards, her two celeb puppets and DT were sat clapping, oohing and ahhing when approiate. Finally Etta pulled on a gree skirt, bikini top and leaf wings.

"Well?" she demanded of the 3 men who, for the time being were actually free to do what they pleased. The men clapped, well all but one. "David D?"

"I still think going in your birthday suit would be much more in keeping with the party, i mean it is a birthday party," he said wisely. Etta threw her hair brush at his nose, missed and watched as it cracked him squarely on the forehead.

"Nice!" cheered DT.

"Silence!" she screeched, glaring at DT carefully. "Behave or i'll have you sent back to Streamies in your chains."

Silence fell in the bedroom.

Etta settled her band of leafs in her hair and smiled nervously at her reflection in the mirror. sighing she made her way to the bedroom door and her eyes fell onto a pair green sandles.

Should i? she thought to herself but suddenly realised that as a wood nymph, wearing shoes would be inappropriate, with a soft prayer to Merlin for no-one to step on her perfectly manicured toes she set off for the great hall, she halted at the door as her puppets jumped form the bed and hurried to her.

"Happy Birthday Mistress!" cooed Zacky and David as they planted loving kisses on her lips. DT kissed Etta's hand and smiled shyly.

"Be in bed by midnight now!" she called, leaving the room and making her way to the Great Hall.

As she entered her eyes fell on Ginny and Elana, both dressed in magnificent ball gowns. etta suddenly felt under dressed as she took in the appearance of Ginny as Anastasia and Elana as Cinderella.

"Oh god maybe David D was right...." muttered Etta to herself.

Clearing he throat she approached the other girls.

"Hey guys, neat costumes,"she smiled.

She squealed in surprise as Elana hugged her from behind. "Thanks!" She turned around to see what Elana herself had dressed as, and squealed again. "I look beautiful? Take a look at yourself, Miss Cinderella!" she grasped Elana's hand and twirled her around to examine the entire dress. "And I'll keep the mantle as long as you keep the gloves and glass slippers." She chuckled.

At the arrival of Etta she turned around and grinned broadly. "Hey Ettie! Goodness, we're going to envy you later. These ball dresses are going to be really warm." she pulled the skirt away from her legs to demonstrate. "I love the tiara. You're a regular Queen of the forest."

Kaitlyn looked around and felt a little nervis for she had spent a while puting together her outfit. She smiled at everyone and went to the a corner.

Alice danced through the door. She was very excited about going to a costume party! Alice was bored with all her gowns so at the last minute she decided to wear her ravenclaw mascot costume. The good times! She entered the room and was glad she wasnt the first one here! ''Hey everyone!'' Alice called to the room at large!

Jamie waked into the party and whispered to himself "oh flashy" and walked on into the dancefloor, then he saw the food, "looks like my kinda partyy" he yelled when his eyes fell on the firewhisky aswel.........
