Lestranges Manor

Christina apperated to her parents manor. There was to be a meeting that night, and she wanted to help set up for it. She was hoping deep down inside that some of her other friends would come and help too.
She walked into the kitchen, and softly said "Mother." she listened eagerly for an answer, but none came.
"Father" she said, this time louder. No response. "Well, they must have gone out shopping for food."
She walked to the fridge, and opened the door. There, on the bag of potatos, was a note. She picked it up, and read it aloud:

Your mother and I have gone out to buy the stuff for dinner tonight. Please start slicing the potatos and prepare the cheese for dinner. Tidy uop the dining room, living room, and clean the fireplaces. Then, change into the new robes we have bought you, and be ready for tonight. We shall be back by 2:30. We have two new Death Eaters joining us tonight. Please dont try and curse them when they arrrive! They are Theo Nott, and Blaise Zabini, anyone else is just spying. We will be in the kitchen when you come home, please be ready to serve the food to the Dark Lord.The Dark Lord is to arrive at 6, and the rest will be here at 7.

"Well, that works" she thoght. She rolled up her sleeves, washed her hands, and got to work, praying that help ould arrive.

Shadow appeared outside the manor, running through what she was supposed to be doing in her head. Shaking her head, she strode over to the door, ringing the doorbell.

Christena heard the doorbell ring.
"thank god, someone came to help!" she said
she dried her hands and hurried to the door. "coming!" she shouted
she opened the door, and was pleased to see Shadow there "Come in, thanks so much for coming to help" she said.

"You're welcome." Shadow said, stepping inside. "Nice place."

"Thanks" she said, hanging Shadows coat on the coat rack by tyhe door "I dont really like to flaunt it though. Parents do, but I think they are snobs." Christina walked back into the kitchen, shouting directions as she went. "Take off your shoes, and join me in the kitchen. Could you melt the cheese? I am going to finish the potatos, and then I will show you the spell and fireplaces to be cleaned" she said. She stopped and quickly turned at the kitchen door, her face softening. "Thanks so much for coming to help" she said, and continued on her way to the counter.

Shadow smiled slightly, following Christina after taking her boots off. She started to melt the cheese, deep in thought.

Christina kept on slicing the potatos, and before she knew it, they were done. "Hows the cheese?" she asked. "Once its ready, we can put the potatos, cheese, and crutons in the pan to bake. then we can move on"

Shadow turned towards Christina, holding a dish of melted cheese with her magic.
"Here's the cheese."

"Thanks" she said. she poured it into the pan, turned the oven on, and placed the pan in the oven.
"Okay, now we need the living room, dining room, and spare bedrooms cleaned. To clean the fireplace, you simply say "luereflamen", while pointing your wand at the fireplace. It should clean itself. I will get the spare bedroom, and livnig room, could you get the dining room? tidy up anything in there that needs done, please" she said. "Thanks" and ran to the spare bedroom.

"That could be a slightly problem..." Shadow said, only to see Christina had already run out of the door. Shaking her head, Shadow decided to do the best she could.

Christina ran up to the spare bedroom, and multitasked. She pointed her wand at the fireplace, while making the bed. this was obviously not going to work. She looked at her watch, and saw that it was almost time for her parents to arrive home. Well, at least she had that to look forward too. Hopefully, once she changed, she could go off and do whatever she liked. Mabey Shadow and her could brew up a potion, or play quidditch or something other than working. She owed her, big time. She kept working, praying they would be on time.

Shadow found the bag she had brought with her and pulled out an ancient-looking, leather bound book written in strange symbols. Opening it, she began to chant different spells to clean the room.

Christina finished the spare bedroom, and went to the living room. She quickly tidied that up, cleaned the fireplace, and went to check on Shadow.
"Hy, when your done, were done. There is nothing else we were supposed to do." she said. "So when your done, you can stay and play quidditch or somthing. Unnless you have to leave" she said nervously.

Shadow had been concentrating hard when Christina came in and dropped the book. Quickly picking it up and shutting it, she turned to Christina.
"I've finished in here," She said quietly.

"thats good" she replied.
"Well, what do you wanna do know?" she asked. "It dosnt matter to me, I owe you for helping, so whatever you wanna do we can. I could steal some of my moms money and we could go shopping. Or we have brooms, the new firebolt, you can take it out if you want. whatever, it dosnt matter to me"

Shadow shrugged again.
"I don't mind." Shadow was trying to hide the fact that she had never really had fun before.

"Be right back" Christina said to shadow, running to the door. She opened it, and saw Emmalynn standing there.
"Hi!" she said. "Come in! Shadow is in the dining room, we were just decding what to do next"

Shadow poked her head out of the door and spotted Emmalynn.
"Hello." She said quietly.

"Er... we were cleaning..." Shadow said.

Violet walked up to the door. Her father wanted her to me him here. Knocking she waited for someone to answer the door.

Shadow's ear picked up the knock on the door and strode over, opening it.
"Hello Violet." She said quietly.

"its freezing out there. Has my father came yet?" Violet asked, stepping in and taking her coat off.

"Voldemort? No, not that I know of." Shadow replied, taking Violet's coat and hanging it up.

'No one has arrived yet. The Dark lord will come first, for dinner, and then the rest an hour later" Christina replied. "Ane we are done cleaning, so whatever you guys vote on doing we can" she said.

"Thanks. He told me to meet him here. Something about news or something." Violet said. "Where is Auntie bellatrix?" Violet asked.

Shadow watched the pair quietly, not knowing what to do.

Violet eyes widen."Who are you and why do you look like my father!?" Violet asked.

"What are you talking about, or who are you talking to?" Shadow asked, confused.

"im talking to that girl,whoever she is" Violet said, stuttering.

"everyone, just general knowledge" she smiled.
"My parents shoudl be here any minuet, I must go greet them. You may come, or stay. Feel free to explore, but dont break anything that cant be fixed with a simple spell." she said, and turned to walk into the back yard.
"Oh, and that, I have no clue why I look like your father." she said, and walked away

Violt looked back and forth, then shook her head, A pop behind her made her look back. "Father, will you tell me for the reason of being here?" Violet asked. He looked at her and shook his head

Shadow bowed her head at Christina's departing back before turning round. Spotting a dark corner, she walked over to it. She hovered in the air, legs crossed, one eye closed, meditating quietly.

Christina was out in the backyard when her parents apperated onto the grounds.
"Hi honey" her father said.
"Hi dad. I believe the dark lord just got here. His daughter is in there too, she said somthing about him having news for us" Christina had to run to keep up with her mother, her father lagged far behind.
"Mom, whats the hurry?" she asked.
"Dont want to keep him waiting too long. Is dinner done?"
Yeah" she said. But her mom was already in the house. Panting, her dad caught up to her.
"I dont know whats going on between those two, but I dont really like it. You know my theories" he said, then walked away.

Shadow frowned slightly, unsure of what was going on, but didn't move from her position several feet in the air, and kept an eye on what was going on. She was trying not to draw attention to herself for as long as possible, even though that wasn't going to be very long.

Violet heard more pops"Auntie Bella!" Violet said adn ran to her, hugging. Voldemort walked up to them, smirking at Bellatrix.

Using her magic, Shadow silently pulled her hood over her face.

"Umm whats going on?" Violet asked her father. "Do any of you know?" Violet asked

Shadow thought about what Violet had said, but came up with a blank and kept her mouth shut.

Voldemort stepped back and looked at the girl."I have a mission for the two of you, mostly Miss. Lestrange." He said. Violet looked mad."You idiot, I just got back from getting that stupid book. Now I have to go again?" Violet asked.

Shadow decided that this was going to be a private conversation and tried to ignore anything that Voldemort was going to say.

"You will because I helped you save that girl that time." Voldemort said.

Shadow tried harder to block out the conversation, her eyebrows knitting together.

Violet nodded."Well when should we go?" Violet asked. "When you feel like it." He said.

Shadow breathed slightly with relief that Voldemort hadn't spotted her yet.

Christina saw there was no getting out of it. "Where, my lord, will we be going" she asked.
