Cris climbed into her pretty box – all brown! – and tried to think of a comfortable position. It seemed the box wasn’t as large as she’d hoped for, but at least she’d have some comfort thanks to her … blue pillow! She patted it into form, leaning it onto the one of the box’s walls, then bent outside again to grab her water bottle – after all, she didn’t want to risk dying of thirst while inside the box, did she? Although, choosing to take her bottle of water instead of paper tissues had been quite a difficult decision, since she was having flu. Ah well, she thought, I’ll survive…

She then knelt down, slowly shuffling into the right position, then leaned on her pillow – yes, you guessed right, it was a specially enforced box that could hold all the weight of her back leaning against it - magic, eh? Reaching her hand out, she closed the box and … just sat. She slowly blinked, trying to accommodate her eyes to pitch darkness. She felt after the bottle that she had crammed next to her legs. Her knees were at level with her chin and her back was pretty bent, too, but back pain etcetera were problems she preferred dealing with later.

Closing her eyes – which of course didn’t make any difference to what she could see anyhow - she listened to hear whether anyone was there yet, but the only sound she could hear was her own breath. Booooring, she thought, no one to talk to… An idea of genius came into her mind and she decided the best thing to do right then was to spend four hours recovering some sleep.

About 5 minutes later, she found she was still awake and not sleepy at all. Sleep, brain, I’m tellin’ ya!, she thought. Oh, why won’t you fall asleep now, you weird brain of a mad kid? - What, I’m mad? Oh no! Who said that? .. Am I talking to myself now? I must be getting pretty psycho, it’s the fault of ... of… Not finding anyone or anything to blame, Cris went on to clap a random rhythm… Fried fish! Yes, it’s the fault of that fried fish I ate today, I’ve known all along that it was a bad idea to eat it! … So now I’ve found the reason why I’m mad, but it doesn’t make me less madder, does it?!

Sighing, she had to conclude that continuing her inner monologue was after all, not the best way of convincing herself she wasn’t mad. Plus, it would get boring for the little green people in her head… She somehow had to entertain herself - and the green people – so she decided to start singing. Falsely, of course.

“Weeee all liiive in the yeeellow submarine, yeeellow submarine… weee all liiive in the yeeelow submarine, yellow submarine….”, she sang aloud, drumming her hands to the walls of her box.

EDIT (I first thought I'd do this in two parts ^^"):

A strange light shone into Cris' eyes. She muttered, "Wazzamatter?", in a sleepy voice, then rubbed her eyes and opened them up properly. "Time's up!", she heard a voice say from outside. "Wha-... at?". Cris didn't fully understand. Had she fallen asleep? ... Apparently, yes. She stood up, stretching her arms and legs, grabbed her water bottle and pillow and climbed out. Good to be out again!, she thought, heading for the exit.

Violet had been up all night and was dead tired. So she decided to get up here, only to discover that their next task involved a box and two items. She debated on what to bring, but finally decided to bring a alarm clock and a pillow. She would get to sleep in there for four hours. Pulling the lid off her box, she got in and set the lid back on top of her box. ‘Cozy in here. I just might get sleep.’ Violet thought. Setting her pillow down, she looked at the time on her alarm clock. ‘7 o’clock. To early. At lest I get another four hours.’ Violet thought more on. After setting the alarm clock, she laid down and closed her eyes. Just as she doze off, she started hearing the others. Twisting and turning, she grabbed her ears. ‘This is going to take forever’
Hour 1- Violet had her pillow over her head. Nothing seemed to be working. She started banging her head against the box wall, wanting to get out of it and kick everyone in the boxes. “Please hush.” Violet said to herself, but they didn’t.
Hour 2- “Will the pain stop!” She yelled, grabbing her ears. “Why, Big Brother? WHY!” Violet yelled. Everyone had stopped for about five seconds and then it started again. Violet banged her head even more on the wall.
Hour 3- Violet was beating her head on the floor this time. She had abandon her mission to sleep and grabbed her pillow. Punching it, she heard the noises getting louder. “Why Do you guys hate me!” She yelled.
Hour 4- Violet had started kicking the wall, her head on the pillow. The alarm clock went off and Violet kicked the lid off and threw the alarm clock out of her box. Standing up, she looked for the person timing them. Violet looked at her and told her, “Next time, I thing our boxes need sound proof charms around them.” And walked to her bed in the bedrooms.

I realize that this is kinda of like the one from above. but I had this started this morning when it went up. if you want me to change it, i will.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptyThu Apr 10 2008, 21:43

One day Kaitlyn woke up and walked into the living room. She looked around and noticed several boxes with different sizes. There where blue boxes, red boxes , and yellow boxes. She noticed that several other house members where looking at a piece of paper posted on the wall. She walked over to it and read it.

You have all been given a box - a large cardboard box in which you need to get into and stay in there for 4 hours. You can not come out of the box. You can hear others. You are allowed to take 2 things into the box with you.

After reading it she thought for a bit and went to the bedroom to grab what she was going to take. " Lets see, my Clarinet ,and how about my drawing set" She said. After getting what she needed she needed she went to the Kitchen for a quick lunch and drink. After that she went to the bathroom for she would not have that opportunity to do her business for four whole hours. " This is going to be hard." She thought as she walked back into the room with all the boxes. " Now to pick one out." She thought as she went to a big blue box. She opened it up and climbed in....

After climbing in someone closed the box.. " I'm not ready!!!" She yelled as she tried to open the box back up ,but it didn't open. She started to get claustrophobic and scared.. " Okay I have to do this challenge." She thought to herself as she held her items. "I think I shall draw a little bit." She thought as she got her pencils out. There was no light though.. " Urge." She thought ,but then she felt her sharp pencil.. " I know what to do." She said as she started to poke a few wholes in the box for light. The little light that came in the box was just enough for her to draw.

After about 40 minuets of drawing she started to get sleepy. Without thinking she put her paper away and pushed her clarinet case to the opposite side of the box. She layed her head down on the clarinet case like it was a pillow and than turned on the opposite side of the light so that she could be in complete darkness... She than fell into a deep sleep. She dreamed sweet dreams and thought of music and love. After about 2 hours and 20 minuets she woke up.. " Wow.. I wonder how much time I have left." She thought as she wished she had brought a watch in with her. She than looked at her Clarinet.. " Music time." She said as she put her clarinet together. She started to play random tunes and after about 30 minuets of playing her clarinet she got tried and put it up.

She was starting to feel crazy.. " Oh crud.. I'm Bord and I cannot sleep anymore.. How will I ever get threw this.. there is no one to talk to." As she said this a wonderful Idea came to her. She pulled out her pencil and drew a picture of a person on the side of the wall where the light was. She than started to talk to it like it was a human.. " So what is your name?" She asked it.. " Christin" A small voice said from the side of her mouth. After about 30 minuets of doing this the box opened and she was let free.. She must of looked crazy for she was getting the strangest stares from the people outside. " Well hello all." She said They where all looking at the picture she had drawn of the person. She got her Clarinet and drawing set and than ran to the bedroom in embarrassment. Her experience in the box was like no other and she never wanted to do it again.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptyFri Apr 11 2008, 14:05

"Box Task, huh? I wonder what that will mean..."

Those were the words Gemma had spoken to Kay and Cat, her crazy Banana and Nut, before she had skipped to the Challenge Room to see some cardboard boxes scattered around. However, they weren't normal boxes, but had the size of an average grown-up human being. Slighty scared of the idea she had about this, she reckoned whether they would be any boxes made to hold three housemates. As she learned he exact task, though, she presumed this wouldn't be possible.

Oh damn, that means four long hours without random craziness. I really have to find good items to bring with me so I can stand that time, survive in all the dark boredom. I wonder what Nut and Banana will bring...

Knowing the long still stay would make her feel horrible, she started to write a list of items and their advantages and disadvantages, finally choosing to bring pen and paper, as she imagined that would work as a single item, and a book in case she ot bored of the waiting. She ran to get those things and at the same time grabbed any sugary item she could get her hands on, including several of the yummy pixie stix. Next she went back to the room and then she shoved all the edible stuff down her throat before she climbed into a box that was Slytherin green with silver polka dots inside. It looked rather uncomfortable, so she reconsidered her choice to not brig a pillow, but guessed it would be fine enough. After shifting a few times until she lay comfortably, she found that lying on her side with an arm under her head did the best job. Now the sugar kicked in, and she grabbed the pen and paper to write down all the random ideas that came to her mind. She had actually wanted to do something like this for quite a long time, so she didn't think it was a bad occasion.

The only problem was she didn't have any light. What to do about that?, she wondered, but just as she asked herself, the inside room of her box suddenly lit up and she squinted at the unexpected brightness. When her eyes had adjusted, the sugar was fully installed in her system, making her thoughts twirl and her hand with the pen dance over the blank sheets. She knew she was being the most random she might have been in al her life, but all this was just too much of an adrenalin rush. She hated being locked into tight spaces, but with all the light and saccharide the problems faded. She wrote for what seemed to be eternity, just throwing random questions onto the paper to think about them once she had a good amount.

Why do humans live the way they do? Is there anything like a god? What is the sense of our presence on this planet? Where does boredom come from? Who made up the languages scattered all over the world nowadays? How can people survive without huge daily amounts of sugar? Could anybody not love penguins? Why were boys and men so hard to understand? How come some people have all the good looks while some look horrid? Would this cardboard box last eternally if it wanted to? Did it dislike having a human being inside? How much sugar could one eat at once without being damaged?

At this point, she figured it was time to ponder her mind's wonderings, but all of a sudden, the lid of the box lifted and Gemma noticed the four hours were probably over - without her having even taken another look at the book she had brought.

Wow, I need to tell Kay and Cat that this is a box of true wonders, it gave me sooo much craziness, yes it did... Skipping off, she grinned at all the questions she had come up with that she could now randomly throw in in conversations. Randomness. Craziness. Her sources of life.

Stephy crawled into the box and took with her was her ipod and a book. Stephy quickly opened up her book, which was a copy of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. She had just started to reread the book once again and didn’t want to put the book down. As she laid there for a few minutes she started to hear voices outside of her box. Stephy tried her hardest to block out the sounds but it just wasn’t working. As she tried to continue on reading the voices outside of the box kept disturbing her. Well I could try listening to music as I read but there is no way I would be able to concentrate with music being played. After laying there for a few more minutes, Stephy came to the conclusion that the voices weren’t going to get any softer, if anything they got louder, so instead Stephy closed her book and started to feel a little sad. She really wanted to reread that book. It was such a good story.
Stephy then reached into her pocket and pulled out her ipod. She quickly placed the headphones on and cranked up the music. The first song she was listening to was Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace. Half way through the song, Stephy started to sing along. It wouldn’t of have been so bad if she could actually sing. Instead it sounded like there was something dying in the box instead of a girl listening to her ipod and singing along. A few hours went by and Stephy was sure that the time must of have been up after listening to almost half of the songs on her ipod. She pulled the headphones off of her ears and listened to the outside voices and thought that she heard someone say something about a cat sounding like it was dying followed by a “Oh it’s time quickly get her out of there”. The lid of the box flew open and many of the surrounding people were standing there trying to fight back fits of laughter and Stephy quickly understood why. “My singing wasn’t that bad was it?” Stephy asked them and saw that many of them were now looking away. “Well at least I lasted the four hours” Stephy stated and someone called back “Well it was more like five hours. We didn’t want to stop listening to your beautiful voice.” Stephy quickly threw them a dirty look and stormed out of the room.

PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySat Apr 12 2008, 11:14

After dropping her iPod and an orange juice juice box into her box, Elana lightly climbed into it, careful to avoid stepping on her items. She settled herself in a corner and reached up to close the box. In the darkness that followed, she was glad to have thought to bring her iPod, for the screen lit up! She felt around for it, found it under the open space where her knees were uncomfortably bent up to the level of her chest, and popped in her earphones. Turning on the playlist she had made for her time in the box named ‘To Keep Me From Crazy,’ she turned up the volume and, shining the light around the box, wondered where her juice box had run off to. Finding it next to her foot, she poked the straw into it and leaned back against a wall of the box, ready to relax for a few hours, even though it wasn’t exactly comfy in there. Unfortunately, leaning back wasn’t the best idea, as the box tipped with her weight, threatening to fall over entirely. Instead, it was stopped by the box next to her, leaning on it at a tilt. In her fright, Elana had squeezed the juice box, and it had squirted a spray of orange juice on her shirt, which she now saw that she had nothing to wipe it up with. But there were more pressing concerns, she realized.

“Sorry!” she called, hoping that the box next door would hear her apology. Now, how to get right side up and not fall the other way…She drained the juice box so that it wouldn’t have a chance to get her again, though she regretted not having it for the rest of her time in the box. She carefully leaned the other way and the box landed with a thud. With a sigh of relief, Elana settled herself cross legged in the center of the box. She spent the rest of the time playing the small selection of games on her iPod, and was more than relieved when it was time to get out. She pushed open the box, grabbed the empty juice box and put her iPod into her pocket and jumped out, heading straight to the bedroom for a clean shirt.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySat Apr 12 2008, 13:59

Rigby looked at the instructions for the 14th challenge, her forehead wrinkled in concentration. Four hours and only two items? She went back to her bedroom to brainstorm. A water bottle of course was going to be needed for four hours, the air was a little dry in the house so she was drinking a lot more than usual. So that left her with just one item to add.

She thought about bringing a book, but without a booklight it would be useless... and she could'nt bring three items...unless she put a bunch of stuff in a backpack and counted the backpack as her other item. Would Big Brother consider that cheating? Did she want to take the chance? Rigby liked to be daring, but not when it came to earning housepoints. Finally she grabbed her video iPod which was full of tv show episodes and audio books, and sweet, sweet music. She stopped by the kitched to snag an oversized water bottle and made her way back to the Challenge room.

She poked through a few boxes that were already occupied until finding an empty box. Lying on the floor nearby was a thick green marker which she used to write 'RIGBY' in big, bold letters, across the box. She put the marker back where she has found it and climbed into the box, which was no mean feat. The sides were just a bit high and she lost her balance and tumbled hard to the bottom of the box. Her iPod and water bottle stayed intact, but Rigby was not so sure she hadn't broken her bum. Annoyed with her clumsiness she bravely scooted around on her possibly broken derriere until she found a position that wasn't too excruciating.

Rigby slid on her iPod headphones, deciding against drinking any water at the moment. She didn't want to end up trapped in a box with a broken bottom and a full bladder for four hours. Tunring on her iPod she was happy to see a full battery icon. She decided to watch a little of Gossip Girl since a new episode was about to air, and she chose A Thin Line Between Chuck And Nate since it had been the last episode. She spent the next 43 minutes praying that her memory had been false and that Chuck and Blair would end up as a couple at the end of the episode. But it was not to be. At least she could look forward to Blair coming back and tearing little nosy Jenny Wannabe Humphrey up... and more Chuck, lots more Chuck. She was glad she had re-watched the episode, as she had forgotten that it was the first episode where she had like the actor who played Nate. He actually seemed to have some geniuine emotion, even if his character was still a huge, whiny hypocrite.

Next Rigby watched the latest episode of Reaper. 'Acid Queen' lived up to its name, as she watched poor Sam have to chase down an ex-beauty queen escaped from hell that was enjoying killing pretty girls with acid that dripped from her finger tips. Sometimes the show reminded Rigby of her favorite X-Files episodes that dealt with scary, supernatural monsters, and not the usual alien theme. The show left her sad at the end, wishing that the Devil would just let Sam tell his crush Andie, about his hellish job... it was bound to come up someday. She also enjoyed seeing more of Sam's gay demon neighbors, but was a bit afraid that they would mean trouble for Sam later on.

An hour and a half down, but her battery was only half full now, as watching tv or movies sucked more juice. Contenting herself with listening to the second part of Behind the Curtain: An Echo Falls Mystery, she delved into Ingrid's mysterious town of Echo Falls for the reminder of her time in the box. Rigby sparingly drank her water, which was ackward to do since she was now laying on her stomach, with her legs bent and leaning up against the one side of the box. It was the only position she could maintain that didn't further injure her bruised behind.

Finally her four hours were up, and after much struggle, Rigby was able to stand up. The cool air that met her was a welcome relief. The box had been so warm! However, now she had to figure a way out of the box, since she hadn't been that successful in getting in it. Sighing, she could only come up with one solution. She crouched down in the box pushed. The box toppled over onto its side, which sent Rigby spilling out of the box. Banged up only a little this time, Rigby tentaively stood up and tried walking. It din't hurt as much as she had been anticipating, so maybe nothing was broken? Rigby figured a snack and a nap would probably be all the cure she needed. And maybe another trip into the Rewards Room to see Edward...

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySat Apr 12 2008, 15:24

Dani walked into a room filled with boxes. "This promises to be fun," she muttered sarcasticly under her breath. She read over rigby's shoulder at the rules: You can only bring two items. She thought for a moment she could bring her book, but then behind her she heard someone mutter something about how dark it was inside their box. Changing her mind she thought of her other options: Her camcorder; which contained thousands of pictures, two of her favorite movies, a flashlight, and hours of music. Her pillow; duh soft and feathery. A water bottle; she wouldn't get thirsty and if anything she could annoy other people with the sound of swishing water. After thinking for a minute she decided on her camcorder and pillow.

Running back to her room she stopped at the bathroom then hurried into the kitchen and made a small snack, consisting of a rice crispy treat and two cherries, finally she made it to her room and retrived her camera and the pillow. She was back in the Challenge room in seconds and selected her box. It was slightly larger than the other boxes surrounding it and it had lovely stripes of yellow and black on it: Hufflepuff.

She sat down in the box with her pillow under her butt and her camera in her hand. She started watching the first movie: tristan and Isolode. There were some people chatting and there were sounds of boxes falling over. The movie was ending two hours later and Dani attempted to streach her arms with a wide yawn. Her arms hit the roof of the box and she momentarily forgot where she was. She was thirsty and starting to regret haveing brought her pillow in place of the bottle of water. Checking the clock on the camera, she sighed she still had another two hours to go, but she could survive that long without water.

She hummed to herself and flipped through some of the picture she'd taken at a new years eve party and watched some of the homemade videos. Finally she pulled up to the voice recorder, she shruggged and pressed record. The camera had a life of another half hour and there was only another hour to go, knowing that the camera could handle thirty minutes of blab she started to ramble.

"'Memoirs of a girl trapped in a box'" she stated happily. "I'm sitting here in Big Brothers challenge room inside a box, his idea of a 'good time' is suppose. We were only allowed two things so I grabbed you, trustly little red cami, and now your life is slipping away, but don't fear I have the charger in my room. You will be saved...eventually. Now in my box, I can see slightly and it is just like any other box, cubic and box-like its brown on the inside, nothing like its colorful Hufflepuff Pride proudly displayed on the out. Haha." Dani took a deep breath and let silence ring on her recording. "I've really missed muggle skateboarding," she told Cami. "The wind in my hair the wheels under my feet. Even the crashing and breaking things. I wonder if big brother would let me have my board in the house. It's not a long board so it wouldn't take up ALOT of room. Of course there's always the downfall that I would leave it somewhere and some one would step on it and hurt themselves, but we're all...mature...well most of us cough cough Rai. I'm sure Raistlin would just love to break my board. But at least he hasn't broken my violin. Actually I don't think he has broken anything in the house...I haven't even seen him! Shocking I know, after all the 'fun' we had last year I was sure he'd love to fight will me again." She giggled. "Ahh the garden, he is a good fighter even if he was trying to squeal on mommy and Etta's plans for a break out. He eventually did, stupid Raistlin, but I guess Big Brother would have seen everything, I mean he does watch us constantly. I wonder what BB really looks like, is he handsome? Is 'he' even a he? What if BB was a girl? Hmmm..."

Cami gave a soft beep letting Dani know she only had thirty seconds before the Camera to die, she sighed and pressed the record buttong again stopping it. She saved it and heard the "zooo" of the camera dying. She leaned against the wall of the box and waited thirty mintues for the lid to open again.

Streaching her arms over her head mintues after getting out, Dani rushed to the bathroom, then to the kitchen to eat again...

PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySat Apr 12 2008, 19:37

Streams' eyes widened gleefully when she saw her box. Finally, finally, nobody will bother me for hours and hours, she thought happily, and climbed into the box. In one hand, she held a huge red pillow filled with soft plastic beads, which could be punched or prodded into any shape imaginable. She put this into the box first, folding it so that half of it covered the bottom of the box while half of it draped over the side, forming a comfortable sort of chair.

After she had climbed into her temporary home, settling herself on her soft, red chair, she reached up to close the box. Then she pulled an MP3 player out of her left pocket. That could keep her occupied for a few hours, as she had fully charged it just yesterday. She adjusted the earbuds carefully, scrolled through her playlist for a while, pondering on a song to pick, and then decided to chance the radio. Immediately, strains of "Every Breath You Take" by the Police filled her ears. Groaning, she sang along and on tune, but substituted the lyrics for

'III HAAAATEEEE THIS SONNG
II HAAATEE THISS SOOONNNGGG
II REALLY HATE THIS SONG
III REALLLY HATTEEEE THIS SONNGGG
OH, I HATTTEE THIS SONNNGGG!'

Grimacing, she went back to searching her playlist, then at last picked 'random' and 'shuffle'. She was quite content to let her MP3 player decide which songs to play.

Except no, she wasn't, because she hated this song, was bored silly of this one, had heard this one five times over the last three days, and this one...oh. She wasn't bored of this one yet. Tapping her foot and nodding her head, she sang along loudly, blithely unaware of the shushing that came from somewhere to her right.

She spent the next few hours alternating between singing and banging on the box to the beat. Sometimes, she liked to think of herslef as something of a drummer.

She had got into her groove and was having a smashing time when someone jerked open the flaps closing her box. In the flood of bright light, Streams squinted and couldn't see their face. She pulled out her earbuds to hear a flood of disgruntled words: "Couldn't you have kept quiet at least once? HUH? Once in the four hours? I wanted to take a nap, you eejit! You RUINED my four hours."

Streams raised her eyebrows. "Oops," she replied, shrugging, and climbed out of her box. Merlin, she was thirsty after all that singing.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySun Apr 13 2008, 10:32

Katie tensed up at the announcement of a new challenge. She both excited and nervous, hoping that her housemates would all participate, resulting in a pass. However, even if that didn’t happen, she was determined to enjoy the challenge and savor the new experience she knew it would bring. Katie only knew that it was a “box challenge” and that they were allowed to bring two items. For what she didn’t know yet, but as she headed to the bedroom to collect two possessions she had decided on a pillow and iPod. The iPod had at least five eBooks on it, so she wasn’t about to get bored, not to mention the hours of music she had recently uploaded onto it.

As she made her way back to the challenge site, Katie saw a huddle of people reading what she assumed were the rules. She made her way over to the group and stood on tip toes to see over the heads of her housemates. When she got to the bit about four whole hours her heart sank. However, she decided to look on the bright side, and realized that she would at least have entertainment for the time she spend in solitude. Okay, it wasn’t really solitude, the boxes, as Katie saw, were pushed close together and she realized that they all would be able to hear each other. She groaned inside her head, realizing that some of her louder housemates would be close by ready to give her a headache.

Katie approached her box and looked inside, it looked considerably roomy for a box, but still small, and pretty dark. Good thing she had decided on the iPod which luckily, had a backlight, which would make reading the eBooks easy, and if her battery was draining there was always audio books to listen to.

She shoved her pillow against one side of the box, and stepped inside. She curled up her legs and leaned against the pillow. This wasn’t as comfortable as Katie first hoped it might be. With a sigh, she uncoiled the earbuds to her iPod and placed them in her ears. Then, she pressed play on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows audio book, and closed the lid, hoping to enjoy the peace.

That peace, it seemed, was not destined to last long. Within minutes she heard cries of people singing, songs of their own invention, to familiar melodies. Annoyed, Katie decided it would be better to sleep instead. So after much rearranging of her limbs, which involved smashing into the sides of the boxes she turned up the volume on her iPod and changed it to shuffle. This successfully drowned out her neighbors moaning after her rough encounter with their boxes, and within a few minutes she dozed off.

Hours later, Katie woke up to people getting out of their boxes. It seemed like the time was up. She stood up and stretched listening to her housemates complaints as she thought to herself: that wasn’t so bad.

PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySun Apr 13 2008, 15:32

Mick laughed as the instructions to the next task
were read out. Now this one would be different he thought as he headed to his
bed to think of the two items he would take with him. They had only been given
a couple of minutes to choose so he had to hurry.

Reaching into the drawer of the side table, mick
pulled out his Dragonlance series book with the crisp new cover and a torch –
well he needed some light to enable him to read.

Moments later Mick and the other housemates stood nervously
yet excited next to the boxes. On the buzzer they all opened their boxes and
stepped in, taking one last glance at each other before the lids were closed. Mick was gad that he didn’t suffer with claustrophobia!

Hour 1:

Mick twisted in the box until he found a comfortable
spot, if you could call being cramped and shut in comfortable. Turning on his
torch he flicked to the opening of the book and settled down to read.

Hour 2:

Mick could hear some of the others shouting to one
another through their boxes. He hoped no one had got out and he was the only
one left – now that would be embarrassing. Micks legs had already started to go
numb so he shifted awkwardly around, though moved a little too much as the box
wobbled and fell onto its side and into another persons box – throwing mick to
one side.

“Sorry” he shouted trying to right himself again. He
realized, though, that he could move in the box without failing the task so
with a series of small jumps he maneuvered the box towards the open window. “Ahh!
Breeze!”

Hour 3:

Mick went back to reading his book though his torch
light was beginning to fade causing an eerie light in the box and out of the
corner of his eye he could see a shadow of a spider crawling towards him.

“ARRRGGHHH!” he shouted before pulling himself
together and telling himself that it was only a spider. Carefully he picked it
up and slid it through the air hole of the box only to hear someone scream as
it entered their box. “oops” he said laughing.

Hour 4:

Mick shut his eyes for a while and drifted off to
sleep which he found unusual as he seemed to sleep better in the box than he
usually did. Before he knew it the bell had gone signifying the end of the
task. Mick jumped out of the box and stretched his leg glad of the freedom.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySun Apr 13 2008, 18:41

Hearing about the task from Gemma Kaylee smiled happily to herself.

Finally a place I can catch up on my sleep and chill out for a little bit to regain some of my mental state.

Skipping around the room she picked up her cute little green ipod nano and her favorite blanket. Humming a tune with her smile still plastered across her face she made her way back into the challenge room. Looking around she noticed that the boxes were all sorts of shapes and colors, each of them was big enough to fit a person, so no worries there. As she scooped out the boxes she noticed a tall one with the outside decorated with shiny green paint and fake silver jewels glued all over it. "This one must be mine." She mumbled to herself as she began to tip the box over so it lay on its side.

Looking around she noticed that she seemed to be the only person who had done this, "Well if it's against the rules I'm sure someone will tell me. But I personally want the long part of my box to be on the ground." She said out loud hoping that someone would tell her if she was in the wrong. After waiting for a moment she figured there was no issue with her putting the box on it's side and proceeded to push her blanket inside, completely covering the entire 'bottom' part of the box.

Once her blanket was in place how she wanted it she put her ear buds and and pressed play on her ipod nano diving right into the 500 song play list she had created just the night before. As soon as her ipod was on and everything was in place she crawled into the box so her feet were now facing towards the opening. The second her feet were past the opening the end of the box closed it self up.

Smiling happily to herself she started to make herself comfortable as 3am by Busted poured into her ears through the head phones. With out even thinking about the fact that people could hear her she started singing along with the song;

"I'm calling you at 3am and I'm
Standing here right outside your door
And I don't think that my heart can take much more
I'm scared of cracking up again I just
Want it to be like it was before
Cos' I don't think that my heart can take much more"

As she continued to sing she finally got herself into a comfortable position laying on her side with part of her blanket scrunched up beneath her head in a make shift pillow. The second she got comfortable she stopped singing only to remember that people could hear her. Giggling softly she yelled out, "Sorry about the singing, sometimes I just get carried away. I sincerely hope I haven't damaged to many ear drums."

Now only humming to herself she closed her eyes and started to remember the days when she was a kid and used to crawl up and sleep inside of a hamper. Ever since she was little she'd always enjoyed sleeping in enclosed places. One time she even pushed her dressers together in the corner of her bedroom and threw all of her blankets and pillows into the small hole and slept there for weeks, completely disregarding her bed all together. This box she knew would be a welcome rest for her, since she hadn't been sleeping much.

Still humming softly she drifted off to sleep. While she slept she had marvelous dreams about her current boyfriend, all of the new friends she'd been making, and of her family back home. Just when the dreams were really starting to get good she was bolted awake by the sudden feeling of something resembling an earth quake. Jumping slightly she went off instinct (as she was still half asleep) and tried to sit straight up only to run her head into a somewhat soft - but still giving - surface. "Ouch!" She mumbled out in pain.

Well not so much pain, it was more out of natural reaction to hitting your head on something. Shaking her head trying to wake herself up she searched the area for her ipod and found it and hit stop. The second she hit stop the noise of the outside world came flooding in, she could hear voices and two people talking outside of the box.

"Do you think she's okay in there? I mean she's been in there for well over 7 hours now, she only had to be in there for four." The first person said.

"You know Kay, she's weird. She's probably lost in there dazing out staring at the wall or something." The second voice responded.

"Yeah your probably right, but maybe we should shake the box again just to be sure." The first person said, and then the second person responded saying, "Sure why not, what could one more shake hurt."

Smiling to herself she carefully hurried and turned herself around so that her head was now at the end of the box with the opening. Which she just now noticed was once again wide open. She could hear her two earth quake specialist counting down until they were going to put forth an extra effort to shake her to death. Silently she waited until they counted all the way down to two and stuck her head out and yelled.

"Now what in the bloody hell do the two of you think your doing? I mean seriously can't a girl get some sleep around here?" She yelled out causing both Cat and Gemma to jump so high they nearly landed on the boxes and their current residents. As she grabbed her blanket and ipod the two girls scolded her for scaring the crap out of them and then they all ran back to the bedroom and fell down on top of Gemmas bed in a fit of giggles.

PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySun Apr 13 2008, 19:49

Alice walked around the house nervously. ''Who would want to make people sit in a box for four hours anyway?'', Alice wondered aloud, ''Maybe Big Brother has gone crazy after all''. Instead of grumbling, Alice decided to think of the positives, and then get to work on choosing her items. ''Well, a positive must be that Big Brother couldnt possibly see us in those boxes...Unless he can see through carboard!?!....''. Somewhere in the middle of wondering about the awesomeness of being able to see through cardboard, Alice remembered she was supposed to be choosing her items. ''Well... I think I'll have to take my radio'', Alice thought, grabbing her extraordinarily outdated sterio from the 60's at the earliest that was actually bigger than she was. ''But what else... I know... a LADDER!!!!! Wait, no thats not it.... What I meant was my blanket,'' ALice decided due to the very unlikly chance of a blizzard occuring whilst she was in her box. Alice walked into the room with the boxes and quickly called dibs on a smallish, cosy looking box. ''Right, radio first''. Alice said before attempting to shove her radio in the box. A loud riping noise told everyone in the vicinity that the radio was clearly too big for the box. Quickly picking up her radio, Alice darted away from the shreaded mass of cardboard that had previously been a box, hopeing nobody saw that. She headed instead for one of the larger boxes that could hold at least two large people, therefor Alice and her radio would fit with plenty of room to spare. Alice pushed her radio over to the left side of the box, realising that it was probably a bit of a large item that Big Brother might count as two items due to its vastness and the accompanying speakers that she had brought. ''Well, I bought them as a package'', Alice yelled loudly, hoping that Big Brother was not only watching but listening aswell. Grabbing her blanket, Alice jumped into her box and shut the lid. It was darker than she expected, but Alice quickly distracted herself from this unwelcome piece of information by turning her sterio on. The 'on' light was big and bright enough to light up the whole box, so Alice quickly turned the volume up to full and moved her head in tune with the beat. With the noise shaking the entire box frame [and possibly several boxes around her], Alice sang in harmony with the music, an octave or two higher than the singer. Alice fiddled through her playlist and was very annoyed when she realised that she had forgotten to add KoRn to her playlist, but then decided it was probably a good thing as she did not think Big Brother would think it appropriote music with the few language ....slips. Alice settled for My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park and Bullet for my Valentine before switching to the WWN and listening to the up-and-coming wizard bands.Alice snuggled closer under her blanket, thankful she had brought it as their was definatly some kind of snow storm out there. After several minutes of this Alice noticed that snow should not be falling on her head if the storm was out their and her lid was still on. Looking up she saw several of her friends holding their wands above her head, using the appropriote weather charm to cause snow. Sighing Alice jmped out of her box, taking her items with her and danced towards the bedroom where her friends told her the snow was payback for her awful music they had been forced to listen too whilst stuck in their own boxes.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySun Apr 13 2008, 22:29

Pamela had just learned of the most recent task. There was a large box that she would have to chill in for four hours. Immediately she devised a plan as to how to save herself from going crazy. "First things first," she said to herself as she walked toward the bedroom. She pulled a bag of skittles out of her stuff (she always kept some sort of candy on hand). Then she grabbed her MP3 player and her copy of Deathly Hallows.

Then she headed for the kitchen. There she grabbed a bottle of water and proceeded to eat the skittles and drink the water. It was a tradition she had started for plays, show choir, and whatnot. The so-called meal didn't make her gassy, so it was perfect for when she had to talk, sing, or sit in a small enclosed space for four hours.

After going to the bathroom, Pamela headed for her box. Taking a few deep breaths, she climbed right on in. She was in there for only a few seconds when the lid was shut. She was immediately plunged into darkness. She pressed the power button on her MP3 player and popped her headphones in. Then she set it to her "sing" playlist. The first song that came on was "Halleluja" by Rufus Wainwright. She loved singing this one because it really tested the lower end of her vocal range. After that was over, "Good and Evil" from Jekyll and Hyde came on.

After that, Pamela got a bit self-concious about and bored with singing. That was okay, though. She set her backlight to not turn off, and began reading in her book. Next thing she knew she was finishing up the chapter "Fallen Warrior" when she checked the time on her MP3 player. Almost immediately after deducing that she had 2 hours left, she was plunged yet again into darkness.

Cursing loudly and rather fluently, Pamela started to feel panic set in. Not many people knew it about her, but she was afraid of the dark. Oh she tried to keep in mind the wisdom that there is nothing to fear about the darkness except the unknown, but she couldn't help it. If she were in a big room it would be one thing, but a box barely big enough to hold a human being? This was not natural! What were they thinking making us do this?

I have got to calm down. She decided that her best bet would be to try to sleep. So she lay down, curled up in a tight ball, and let her thumb go straight for her mouth. The last step was an instinct that she generally tried to keep in check, but that did sometimes show itself after she was asleep. This time she didn't care, she needed the comfort. Somehow, despite her panic, she was dreaming before long.

She was having a very pleasant dream about someone she knew whom she was interested in by the name of Gray. He was a guest at the hotel she worked at outside of the house. Her managers had given the go ahead for them to go out--it was generally against the rules for employees to fraternize with guests. It was just getting into the good part when Pamela woke abruptly. There was a large amount of light pouring in. "What the--?"

Pamela grabbed her stuff and stepped out of the box. As soon as she came within view of a clock, she checked the time. She'd actually been in there for six hours. She couldn't believe it. If the good dream hadn't put her in such a pleasant mood, Pamela would have most likely been storming the house, searching for the person who hadn't bothered to wake her. Instead, she sat down on her bed and resumed her reading of Deathly Hallows.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptySun Apr 13 2008, 22:58

Dragon was roughly shaken awake when a strange pair of hands grabbed her and stuffed into somewhere dark. "Wha-what? Wh-who is it? LET ME OUT!" she yelled when she found that she had been stuffed into a small tiny box half her size and her own body was jammed and squashed.

Dragon felt miserable.

"Whoever you are, I-I'll k-ick yo-you so hard if you do-n't let me out righ-right now!" she yelled in what she hoped was a convincing tone. But alas, with her stammer and tears she couldn't even fool herself. "Darn it." she muttered and wiped her wet check and felt around the box. What she thought was an ordinary box had a note stuck with tape on the 'roof' aka the sealed shut opening. Squinting at it, she held it to a crack in the box and read by the dim light.

Dear HEBB2 Participant

You have all been given a box - a large cardboard box in which you need to get into and stay in there for 4 hours. You can not come out of the box. You can hear others. You are allowed to take 2 things into the box with you.

-Mr Task Giver

"What the-" she yelled and added a few inappropriate words and swore loudly to 'Mr Task Giver' "You could just given me the task, not stuff me in this darn box." she yelled.

No one came.

"I NEED MY TWO ITEMS." she yelled finally. "IT SAYS SO RIGHT-" she fumbled for the paper and pointed at the sentence "-HERE!"

The box opened a bit and Dragon quickly gasped for breath. "State your two items." a robot like voice intoned.

"Er," Dragon quickly racked her head for anything but due to lack of oxygen from being shut inside the box and being very very angry and confused, she couldn't think straight. "Oxygen tank and plasma tv." she blurted out and was met with a tank and huge plasma tv, making her almost completely squashed flat in one corner.

Today is not her day.

Fumbling for the remote she pressed what she hoped was the 'On' button and watch in slight relief, the tv lit on. "-today we'll be expecting thunderstorms and lighting in the afternoon. There are minor hurricanes in the east so all cable lines will be down."

As soon as the weather with the stupid fake grin finished his 'speech' she felt the box roof went soft and 'drip' a rain drop landed on her nose through the cracks of the box. "AHHH." she yelled and gasp for breath making Dragon fumble for her oxygen tank and stuffed the mask onto her face.

"Calm down, maybe I only have to stay in this thing for a minute or two...now let me see that paper again... AHH!" she yelled once more when she was the words "4 hours" staring at her.

Today is so not her day.

The clock on the t.v. blinked 1pm and she glared at it angrily. Pressing the remote again she surfed the tv for nickelodeon’s "Dora the Explorer or Blues Clues" to calm her down. Usually watching Barney shows etc calm her down real quick.

Well, as today was not her day, as soon as she reached nick channel, the screen when BUZZ and fuzzed out. Dragon groaned remembering the weatherman's prediction about no cable. "The one day you had to be right." she muttered and clutched her metal can of oxygen. Maybe if she wiggled this a way, she could get comfortable enough to get some sleep and pass the 4 hours with some…dignity (even though been stuck in a box with a plasma tv and an oxygen tank didn’t really help the fact). Nuzzling her can, she wiggled until her whole body was under the tv and had just enough sense to click the tv shut- no need to get struck by lighting.

(skipping some stuff or I’ll be writing too much xD)

4 hours later, Dragon was again woken up by a rough pair of hands pulling her outside of the box. Blinking her eyes at the light, she shielded her eyes and slowing opened them…only to find herself face to face with…McDonalds? “What-” she started to yell when she realized she was all alone. Glancing at the store she realized that too was locked. Where in the world did the 24/7 policy go?
Glancing around, she felt naked without the box, tv, and tank and felt strangely out of place – not to add she was soaking wet since plasma television does not make a good umbrella, especially if your ‘house’ aka box was all soggy.

She turned towards the store and pounded her fist on the glass and her eye caught the sign advertising cheeseburgers on the window…the text was in some foreign language. Strangely, she had an odd feeling that she was lost.

Today is defiantly not her day.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptyMon Apr 14 2008, 05:20

1st hour...

Caro watched in horror, as she was rudely showed into a box - which looked like it had gone through hell in the newest episode of 'Pimp My Box'. It was glittery, fluffy, awfully pink for Caro's taste, and... small.

"Oiiiii!" Caro tried to protest, as she grabbed the nearest thing she could - which happened to be a person.

The box was taped shut, and everything went black.

"Nice going," said a familiar voice.

Captain Jack Sparrow was there to save the day!

"...JACKIIIIIE!!!!!!!!!" Caro squealed, and flung her arms around the grumpy looking Captain. "I knew you would save me!"

"Erm, you happened to pull me with you," he stated, trying to get away from Caro's embrace.

...or maybe not.

"...oh," she said.

"Do you have rum?" he asked.

"No, but I have... matches!" Caro said, as she shook the box of matches in her hand.

"Pyromaniac much?"

"Shut up!" Caro huffed, and pouted.

2nd hour...

"Has it gone four hours now?" Caro asked.

"No."

"Has it gone four hours now?"

"No."

"Has it gone four hours now?" Caro asked again.

"...no," Captain Jack Sparrow

"Has it gone four hours now?"

"NO!!!!!!!!!!!"

Caro sat in silence, and poked her toes with a thoughtful look on her face.

"Has it gone four hours now?" she asked carefully, causing the Captain to hit his head repeatedly against the box.

2nd hour...

"Okay, okay, okay!" Caro said cheerfully. "Let me take another one!"

"Fine," Captain Jack Sparrow sighed.

"I'm looking at--"

"It's me," he said in a bored voice.

"YES!!!!" Caro cheered. "Okay, here's another one! I'm looking at him at the moment."

"Let me guess; it's me?"

"YES!!!!"

"LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Captain Jack Sparrow pleaded.

3rd hour...

"Soooooo," Caro said, clearly bored now. "We've talked about everything, played 'Guess What I'm Thinking?', and now I'm pretty hungry."

"You're not alone," he said.

Silence.

"Do you support cannibalism?" she asked.

More silence.

4th hour...

"...and then they made me their captain!" Caro went on, not even noticing the pained look on Captain Jack Sparrow's face. "Ain't that cool, huh?"

"No," he stated coolly.

"Well... your mom!"

"THAT'S IT!!!!!!!!!!" he said, snatching the matches from Caro.

"Hey, those are my magic matches--" Caro tried to protest, until she saw the crazy look in his eyes. "...but you can have them."

"MWAHAHHAHHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!" the crazy captain laughed, as he lit one match.

"Be careful, you're going to burn--"

In a matter of seconds, the box was in ashes, and Caro found herself sitting in the middle of the room, surrounded by... ashes.

YOU HAVE FAILED!

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Caro screamed, and started to whack Captain Jack Sparrow. "YOU MADE ME FAIL, YOU DUNDERHEAD!!!!!!!!!!"

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptyMon Apr 14 2008, 06:20

Shadow picked up her asthma inhaler, hiding it in a pocket before selecting a book that she had been meaning to read for a while. Taking one last glance around the room, Shadow walked away, heading for the box challenge.

She clambered into her allocated box, closing the lid. Shadow closed her eyes, trying not to think about the enclosed space. She listened to the others talking, trying to sooth her mind. She sang a few songs in a strange tongue, willing herself to sleep.

She drifted in and out of sleep for the best part of an hour before she gave up. Opening her eyes, she realised just how enclosed the space was. Eyes wide, Shadow felt her windpipe constrict, breathing becoming difficult. Shadow took a dose from her inhaler, trying to calm herself. She was going to complete this challenge, no matter what.

Another hour seemed to pass like an ice age, and she sparingly took a dose from her inhaler and the dust was really getting to her. She listened to the others in their boxes, wondering how they were coping with the challenge. Hopefully better than me She thought to herself.

Three hours past and Shadow was extremely bored. She felt around, looking for her book. Once she found it, she opened it, shifted so that a single beam of light fell on the pages and began to read. She lost herself in the story, hoping that it would help to pass the time.

It certainly helped, and soon enough, the final hour passed, according to her internal body clock. She rolled onto her back and struck out with her feet, kicking the lid off. She breathed in the fresh air and doubled up coughing. She took a dose from her inhaler and smiled slightly. It was over.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptyMon Apr 14 2008, 14:13

Shausto stepped into the garden, where she has heard this challenge was taking place, with an enormous teddy bear under her left arm and hauling a battery powered keyboard with her right. As she stepped into the sun, the words of the letter came to mind:

You have all been given a box - a large cardboard box in which you need to get into and stay in there for 4 hours. You can not come out of the box. You can hear others. You are allowed to take 2 things into the box with you.

They echoed around her head in a deep voice, and she spun on the spot to find the guy who speaks during commercials standing there, whispering the words again and again. He stalked her sometimes. As she looked at him though, he straightened up and shut his mouth tight, noticing that Shausto had a very heavy keyboard under one arm, and would not hesitate to whack him on the head if necessary. She sighed and turned back around, at least this creepy guy couldn’t follow her into the box. Speaking of which, a small brown worn box sat in the middle of the grassy area, looking just big enough to squeeze her body into with legs in a very uncomfortable position, and none left over for her oversized items. However, when she finally got the nerve to peer inside, she was surprised by the glamour of it all. There must have been an enlarging spell placed upon it, for the walls were spaced large enough to sit comfortably with her bear in one corner and keyboard in the other. A plush carpeting lay on the floor, making her wonder where the challenge was in sitting in this box for a little while. Surely it couldn’t have been that bad, she thought, disregarding the many who had come out looking as if they belonged in a mental hospital. Shausto pulled the lid of the box close, catching a last glimpse of the sun for the next four hours, and was immersed in complete darkness. Immediately, her childhood fear of the dark returned and she peered around, trying to see in the darkness until she could make out the shapes of her piano and bear. Not wanting to work herself up in the first five minutes in her box, Shausto snuggled up against her giant teddy bear and fell into a fitful sleep, thankful for the thick carpet.

About an hour later, Shausto awoke in darkness. Not quite realizing where she was at first, she thrashed around, trying to find something solid when her hand collided with the edge of her keyboard, resulting in a small gash on her thumb. She cursed at her own stupidity and sucked the blood away from the wounded thumb, hoping no blood got on the carpet or her bear. As she woke up some more, her borrowed fear of the darkness began to set in again, and she hurried to chase it away. She sat next to her piano, feeling the keys to picture in her mind where they were. Then she flicked it on, watching the small red light flash on like a little eye…watching her.. She shook this thought away and began to play a happy tune that she knew from memory, making a few mistakes in the darkness. Soon, voices began to materialize around her, and, afraid she was hallucinating, she turned the volume up louder on the keyboard and played a song she could sing along with to ease her mind. This continued for a good while, and Shausto lost all fear in her head, but she also lost all sense of time. Now, just playing random notes here and there, she had exhausted all songs from her memory and groaned aloud with her boredness. Turning around in her box, the bear caught her eye.

She layed her head on the bear, wondering what she could do with the few hours she was sure she had left. A small piece of loose thread wafted in the slight breeze from the top of the box, though it was still connected to the bear, and Shausto was terribly tempted to pull it. She resisted this temptation and turned away, but before she knew it her hand was reaching out on its own accord to yank the little string free from the plush bear. It came free easily, and she stared at it in her hand before reaching out to yank another string from the bear. It was quite fun, really. After all the fur was plucked off the bear—poor thing—Shausto started pulling out fluff. She had no idea in fact, why she was doing this—she really was making a complete mess. But she was amused for the moment and that was all that mattered. It took a fairly long time, but before she knew it, Shausto was sitting in a box half filled with picked apart fluff that reached just over her waist. Idly, she wondered how much time was left and how she would know…would someone come get her? But this worry was pushed from her mind as she realized the enjoyment of fluff. Throwing it into the air, she immersed herself in the softness and stayed like that for a good while, until the top of the box suddenly flew open and Shausto was forced to squint into the setting sun. “Four hours is uuuhh…” the face peered over the edge of the box into the mess of fluff that was her. She smiled sweetly and stood up, brushing a piece of fur off her shirt. As she stepped out of the box, she suddenly remembered the keyboard she had brought in with her, and turned around to fish it back out of the maelstrom of fuzz. She looked back at the person, now staring rather strangely at her. She stared back, wondering what was wrong. Did she still have fur stuck in her hair? Then she realized she had left the box a mess! Silly her! She turned back, picked up the box that appeared tiny now that she was outside of it, and turned it over, emptying the large amounts of fluff on the ground. Then she placed the small box next to the pile, faced the shocked eyes of her friend and dragged the keyboard back inside the house.

HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task Empty
PostSubject: Re: HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task   HEBB2 - CHALLENGE 14: Box Task EmptyMon Apr 14 2008, 16:35

:: Jessica noticed off in the distance her sticker covered box. This box looked as though it had been through a lot within the past, kind of a rustic feel. To normal muggles this box would look as though a homeless person left it behind for the trash. Grabbing her two items Jessica jumped in the box. When she closed the lid a magical thing started to happen. ::

Hour 1
::As she flashed her eyes open she was surprised to see the sun was shinning so brightly that she became blinded. Opening her hands she had noticed that she was still holding her baseball glove and ball. Today was a gorgeous day she thought to herself as she threw the ball up in the air and caught it again.::

Hour 2
::She could hear off in the distance someone was talking. Glancing up she could tell that the voice was Kate’s and knew all to well that she that she was at it again, arguing with Rai. Something’s never change, she thought to herself as she continued to feel rested and relaxed. It was as if she was in her own little world and no one was able to bother her or disturb her. She continued to listen to Kate and Rai for what seemed like forever, something to do with prefects and their bathrooms. It was a bit out of Jessica’s league. ::

Hour 3
::Walking around a bit, Jessica could see a few ducks in the pond. If only one of her two items was some bread, she could have fed them. Feeling a bit down, Jessica walked beside the shade of the apple tree and sat down. Leaning against the tree the wind started to blow. Her hair was now blowing back and forth as she rolled the baseball on the ground.::

Hour 4
::After about an hour or so, Jessica decided that it was time to start to do one last walk around before she had to leave. As she grabbed her baseball glove and ball, she walked towards the pond. The ducks still looked hungry, and she decided that when she comes back tomorrow to bring some bread for them. Closing her eyes, she opened the lid to the box, exited.::
