...As I am writing this I realise that I should have just posted it in the Professors Lounge. Oh well, it'll have to stay here now!! xD

Ok, currently the games are scored according to the following factors:

Skill shown
Team work
Maneuvers
Knowledge of the game
Creativity
Initiative
Reliability of team

I was thinking that we could add another catergory to this, say...

Entertainment Value?

Because right now most people play quidditch to get points and win the Cup but Quidditch should be more about having fun! After all, isn't that what it's all about? Quidditch is meant to be fun!!

I like this idea, but I think we'd have to make sure that Quidditch players didn't take it too much to heart - that is go over the top in the games to try and make it more fun. We don't want every Quidditch game to turn into that memorable Holiday Quidditch 2006 game Quidditch Scoring 410894

I do like the idea though, as long as players don't take it too far.

...Oh dear. I remember that. Although, I spent most of that game making out with Milo Ventimiglia on my broom. With my amazing magic skills I'd managed to transport him to my broom - while making him younger!! Quidditch Scoring 410894

But I was thinking more along the lines of stuff that we do (as in the Gryffindor quidditch team) like dressing up or adding your own soundtrack or something of the like. xD

Oh, and also, what happened to the weather conditions at the beginning of every match? I liked them! They made the game more interesting!

Erm...not sure...I think they were forgotten one week and since I just copy/paste the previous match's post (and I guess Rai does too) - they've stayed forgotten.

I'll try to remember to add it in again starting next match.

I think this is a brilliant idea. Some of the games in the past have been a bit tedious.

The first game this season, when I didn't see a blurb about the weather, I got a bit paranoid with my post. I was afraid to say anything about conditions in case I'd just missed it.

Memorable holiday quidditch game....what one was that then *looks shifty* lol

Anyway, yes I like this idea very much though I dont think it can really be implemented until the start of the next quidditch season so not to cause confusion or unfair point giving etc
