Herbaceoustraitorous vs. Pickles

This is the thread for Herbaceoustraitorous vs. Pickles.

You should duel your opponent using your own spells and spells from the HP Universe. You should make a total of six posts each, and should take it in turns to post.

You will be marked on the following:

* Eye for surroundings
* Defensive and offensive spells (both what spells are used and how well they are used)
* Knowledge of spells
* Eye for detail (both your own posts and others posts)
* Inventiveness and creativeness as a whole

Please avoid one sentence posts. Try to develop your duelling posts into more than one paragraph. See the howler in the main forum for more information on how to duel successfully.

Jamie wiped the sweat from his upper brow.. he had arrived just a few seconds earlier and he was worried that his opponent might have taken his lateness as an oppertunity...
"well at least im here first......" on the way down to the dungeon Jamie had caused hiself many injuries... he'd ran into Mrs. Norris and obtained a few scars from her.. he also fell down the stairs, giving him quiet a nasty cut on his forehead that he managed to heal quickly with the Episky spell his father had taught him.

Jamie started to make a few deflecting charms around himself
"protego!protégez-moi ! (protect me!)"
he waited then for his opponet to arrive....
he noticed that there was no pillar to hide behind... this was not advantage to him... he'd been known for hiding behind pillars when he had no time to deflect the spell gliding towards him....
Pictures hung from every wall and they all seemed to know what was going to happen.. they had their telescopes out waiting unpatiently.

"wimgardium leviousa!" Jamie said cheekily... he moved the table over to the door blocking the opponents way through it..
"like top see him even get in!" jamie laughed to himself....

Jamie started a sort of warm up streching and bend parts of his body... his new dragon skin clothes still had to be worn in.. he saw how that was going to cause ainfull problems... his wand now stuck from the jacket pocket... he lifted it out and gave it a quick polish with his sleeve
"should do.... im ready...."

"ermm... better now were only one-on-one dueling... the multiple ones are confuzzling!"
Jamie thought for a minute about continuing the conversation and then thought about breakfast.. he didn't want to miss that.
"can we get this started?" he walked into the center of the room and noticed that there was a bit gusty wind comming from one of the doors.... he could use that to his advantage..
Jamie put his wand up to his nose, he always thought he must look wierd doing this, because he always went cross-eyed...
later he bowed waiting for herby to do the same.

Jamie heard the spell coming but his knoledge of lanuages didn't come quickly enough, the spell hit him as darkness fell over the bright sky.. noises came from one of the corners and pain shot at him from evey angle, he closed his eyes and took a breath in choaking himself... he was drowning...
"deje el extremo de la pesadilla!" (let the nightmare end!) Jamie yeleed in his head just bofore his wand slippped from his wand..

Jamie pulled out of the feared state and heaved, he was soaked from top to toe and blood had pierced his head and sides.
Jamie looked up at Herby his eyes mad with pure hate...
"empuje la fuerza de mil caballos hacia ella!" (thrust the strenght of a thousand horses towards her!) Jamie whisperd madly towards her...
"come on then....!" he yelled "beat me!!

Jamie smirked as Herby was knocked off her feet,
"ha!" Jamie yelled in triumph
moments later it seemed another spell had been cast towards him... he seemed to make out the word snake....
"good job im not afraid of snakes then isn't it herby?!" he yelled to her just before the spell hit him....
the spell hit Jamie who stayed standing, then a red light seemed to come from where the spell hit.. seconds later Jamie seemed to be the center of a ring of huge snakes,
"¡helada!" (freeze!) ...
One snake stopped with its fangs out inches away from jamies leg....
"close!" Jamie whispered....
"¡cámara lenta!" Jamie yelled to bide himself time (slow motion)
He smiled as he saw a fly gos slowly across one of the nearby bushes outside...
"¡drangons!" jamie yelled as three dragons erupted from his wand flying straight for Herby....
"gotta go!" jamie laughed as he walked past the snakes
"vaya detrás de donde usted vino!" (go back where you cam from! (to the snakes))

Jamie pretended to walk out of the room but in stead he moved the cabin he had put up against a doorwith a flick of his wand and waited around the corner for Herby to get out of her tricky situation......
"like to see her get out of this one!" Jamie laughed harshly

(evil! turning my own against me!)

Jamie waited around the corner and unzipped his dragon skin coat alittle, it felt a little warm. He secretly hoped that the heat was comming from a burning Herby.

Jamie heard something come closer to him almost like wings flapping. Jamie dared to look around the corner. At first he didn't see anything out of the ordinary, but the sound of the wings flapping came closer and closer.
"uh oh!" Jamie saw Herby hit the dragon with a white flash,
"could it be? would she? could she?" Jamie seemed to be in a bit of denial.
"NO FAIR!" he yelled catching himself on and running up stairs.
Jamie narrowly escaped getting burnt to death by the dragons flame.. the wooden cabin that Jamie had tried to block the door with didn't have as much luck as him.
Jamie ran up the stairs and glanced back at the doorway.. there was no way the dragon could get through that small place.
*****crashes*****
The dragon came closer to Jamie snorting violently.. the doorway was no-more, well at least there was a entrance into the school for dragons now.
¡“paralise! ¡matanza! ¡sueño! ¡desaceleración! ¡atonte! ¡algo! “
(translation "paralise! kill! sleep! slow down! stun! something!")
Jamie yelled, terrified.
None of the spells hit the dragon... always narrowly missing the most sensitive place of the dragon... jamie hoped and prayed closing his eyes and whispering to save his life..
"dear lord my friend save my life!" then Jamie caught on and opened his eyes quickly the dragon banging its way up the stairs towrds him,
"se convierte mi amigo me dejó montar en su parte posteriora."
(translation become my friend let me ride on your back.)
Almaost immediatly the dragon warmed to him..
"phew!" jamie exclaimed in releave.


Jamie did the same as he would have done if he was mounting a hippogriff, he bowed and and touched the dragon,
the dragon only seemed to enjoy his touch as a friend would, the expression on the dragons face made Jamies heart fill up and it seemed to be beating at the normal pace.
"there we go!" Jamie laughed patting the dragons head.
jamie mounted the dragon and made it walk backwards to the hole it had made earlier.
The dragon walked through the hole in the wall and Jamie kicked off making the dragon fly out of the roofless room... Jamie soared into the sky and stopped above Herby....
"¡tome hacia fuera su rath en ella!"
(translate take out your rath on her!)
"¡respire su fuego!"
(translation breathe your fire!)
