You Know You are Obsessed with Harry Potter/HE when...

First topic message reminder :

Hey there, it's your RDE(Resident Death Eater) with a new fun game for us all to play!
(I've seen different variations of the You know you on other sites about other topics)

The rules are you have to put something related to Harry Potter/and or the HE in this game. You come up with stuff like you tell everyone basically about how to spot HP obsessed people and how you can tell when someone has been too obsessed haha.


It's called 'You Know You Are Obsessed With HP When... (YKYAOWHP)-

Some examples--

YKYAOWHP when you wake up in the middle of the night rubbing your forehead thinking it is burning

YKYAOWHP when you shout 'Expecto patronum' at you own shadow

YKYAOWHP when you hear popping and think it's someone apparating.

YKYAOWHP when you call 'Gandalf' Dumbledore while watching Lord of the Rings

YKYAOWHP(HE) when you see purple Hippos in your dreams

YKYAOWHP(HE) when you first jump online and go straight to the HE site (I do this haha)

YKYAOWHP(HE)- Zoo Tycoon Addition

1)You name all the animals after HP charaters (dbm)
a. Your favorite animals happen to be your favorite charaters......
b. Your least favorite HP charaters happen to be the worst animals

2) You put said animal/charaters together to suit your shipping preferences....(dbm)

3) When you run out of HP names for your charaters, you start naming your animals after your favorite ships (dbm, Drinny, Harmony, Jily, and Runa)

4)You try and renact the HE family tree (ndbm, I should do that sometime)

5)To prove McGonagall is a traitor you put a gazzel Harry in with a lion McGonagall, and see if she tries to eat him :D (dbm, it didn't turn out well.....)

6)You name your zoo about HP/HE (dbm, its the offical zoo of the Random Army)

7) You start naming your guests after HP charaters.

you and your friends use your pet birds to communicate.

you start calling all electrical appliances 'muggle devices'

you do extensive research to find out how to explain to Arthur the function of a rubber duck

you write a dozen fanfics

you have over 10 folders of hp stuff on your computer
you've got so many hp music videos you are filling up your hard drive

you draw a harry potter lightning bolt tattoo on your forhead and go to the doctor claiming you were cursed

you carry a 'wand' around as a protection weapon

you can recite the movies like clockwork
you can recite the books the same way

you know more than 20 unimportant facts about each book.

you spot every mistake in the books and make false 'reasons' why they are there

your cat hates you becuz you won't stop calling HER crookshanks

your white female ferret poops on your bed in protest of being called 'malfoy' (Kitty's ferret is EVIL!)

you try to use a ouija board to contact James and Lily Potter

you shout 'augumenti' before splashing someone with water.

you suddenly start talking in british slang

you insist that you are going to send your kids to Hogwarts

you are 11 years old and haven't started school yet becuz you are still waiting on your acceptance letter from Hogwarts

you go to a school to apply for a job as the Defense against the Dark Arts teacher.

you insist on painting the crest of Hogwarts on everything you own.

during your history class you turn in your history report on the four founders of Hogwarts.

you start referring to your maids and servants as 'house elves'

you can remember all the vaults at Gringotts but you can't remember your own bank account number.

you visit every sports shop and ask why they don't have a Nimbus 2000

when someone introduces you, you say ''It's right nice to meet such a fancy muggle like yourself."

You go on mugglenet and read their ways to annoy a non-Harry Potter fan and find out you've done half the list already

You give a non-Harry Potter fan an acceptance letter from Hogwarts (my friend did that. Quite hilarious)

You get very excited when you find out a Harry Potter character has a birthday close to yours.

Your the biggest HP fan in your school (I got the t-shirts to prove it! Muaahahaha)

When you see a red head that looks similar to Ron you glare at them (I've done it before. Sorry to all you redheads out there if I ever glared at you for no reason)

WHen you see a pink backpack that starts talking and claim that there is a conspiracy. Then you see a guy walk by talking in his walkie talkie and hear his voice coming from the backpack, and then you go crazy and start yelling that there is infact a conspiracy and tonight Wormtail is going to betray his friends and James and Lily will die. (Sadly I've done that before. Amber and my other friend Taylor were there)

The backpack was babyblue Merranda.... How dare you tell them about the backpack?!?!?!?!? Now all my friends are to think i am even odder! sorry friends *huggles all my friends*

Everytime you hear/or see something dealing with candy you think of our video making queen here and suddenly shout out 'CANDYLANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!" to everyone who then thinks you are a nutcase.

You go to walmart and while the clerk is ringing you up for your HP merchandise, you start trying to 'persuade' them to join HE.

you have actually made a HE t-shirt and it is proudly hanging up in your closet, cuz you made it right after being made a Prefect.

you start trying to place HE members in movies that you think they'd be perfect in.

you become delusional about the deputy headmistress being your daughter

you brag to everyone at the skatepark that your site "Parents" are Elfie and Snape and then when they give you a funny look, you stomp home and do a lot of site hw to vent your frustrations.

you spend more than half your day replying to about 200 posts or more a day.

when you walk into chat and everyone greets you, it feels like your real family.

when you've 'adopted' more than 20 kids and are only a teenager yourself.

when you make up nicknames for everyone you come in contact with on the site and shout them out a lot.
