Part One: General Questions

1. Describe the appearance and characteristics of a typical dragon (8)
2. What year was dragon breeding outlawed by the Warlocks Convention? (2)
3. Which part of the dragon is used as the core of a wand? (2)
4. How many uses are there for Dragon blood? Can you name one of them? (8)

Total available points for part one: 20

Part Two: Dragon Species

1. Choose three species of dragon (from the Harry Potter books) and
Describe their appearance, their country of origin, and any other information you deem necessary. (10 points will be awarded for each correctly described dragon species - remember the more detail, the better chance you have of being awarded more points)

Total available points for part two: 30

Part Three: Creativity

1. Create your own species of Dragon. What is the species name?
2. What is its appearance? Go into as much detail as you wish – colour, size, what the dragon eats etc. Remember – the more detail you go into, the more points you will be awarded.
3. Which country or part of the world does your dragon hail from?
4. Any other information about your dragon?

Total available points for part three: 50

Bonus points: 10 bonus points will be awarded if you provide a picture of a dragon

Total available house points: 100 + 10 bonus points.

Remember to cite your sources (website used), and no copy and pasting!
