we could come up with a magical plant and give it a name, say what it does, how it obtains food and what potions you can use it in

Well, how about this:

We pick our own plant and right an essay on it.

how about we answer questions about catus and say about how it provides homes for other animals and how it can survi e the lack of water and name the different parts of it

how about we find information on a herb. give its scintific name and say what medical use it could be used for. we could also come up with how it could help the magical world or something like that

how about if we researched botany like the history of it, muggle uses examples, magical uses examples, a famous botanist, muggle or magic, and our favorite plant.... just a suggestion

i think we should do a lesson on hippogriffs, and another on dementors

Hippogriffs would be taught in care of magical creatures. Dementors would be in defense against the dark arts. But they would be fun to do homework about! Just not in Herbology.

* Take two plants, muggle or magical, and experiement in cross-breeding. Design the picture of what this new breed would look like. Does it have any magical attributes? Bonus: Sell this new breed of plant to the community. Design a poster or leaflet for it.

* Create your own plant. Like above but completely your own plant

* Magical properties of grass! Be creative as we all know grass holds no real magic

we could write an essay on our favorite plant in the wizard world

I was thinking that there could be a challenge (like the challenge chamber) only There is one student from each house. But there would be a variety like it wouldn't just be people who are best with doing transfiguration stuff, or just people who know a lot of magical creatures. There would also be a lot of challenges. Maybe 20 challenges per say. The teachers would also decide who is with who (people could ask to be with someone but the teachers would have the final say. I hope you like my idea I will be posting it in several subjects because it would not just consist of DADA or Charms or Transfiguration ect.
